My inspiration behind creating this piece of art is based on the concept of development and patience. As trees starts small but continue to develop overtime,  I see bitcoin in the same way, it develops steadily over time if you believe in it.

I have chosen a tree to represent life and consistency,  while the bitcoin fruit symbolize your rewards for holding and trusting the process, I chose to use the natural clay from where I live, to demonstrate how something valuable can come out of something simple.

I created this piece to serve as an inspirational reminder, to people who want to learn about or are interested in learning about bitcoin, that with patience and the right mindset, anyone can grow with bitcoin.

RELIEF SCULPTURE

Description of Entry

Relief sculpture with clay, a masterpiece for the Bitcointalk art and mud contest which blend digital culture with local identity . The figure with the Nigeria flag and Bitcoin symbolize and serve as the eye of the contest in the local board, Naija.

The background which was designed in this way, resembling the Naija board section on Bitcointalk talk
It is designed in this format to show the relationship of the local section is shapened with digital space and Bitcoin discussion. Our routine participation has shapen the adoption of cryptocurrency, most especially Bitcoin as the eye in Nigeria

The masterpiece is summarize as a concept that brings awareness and cultural relevance to portray Bitcoin in the local board, Nigeria

It was not as easy as I first thought, but I finally ended up with this.

@Mr. Reporter thank you for bringing this great contest to our local Board, I have seen alot of nice Muddy creatives here, indeed we are blessed with talented ones.

I decided to construct a Bitcoin hunt best of luck to everyone

Below are my entry

[Decimetre]

Aim: To build a secured Bitcoin zone (Wallet) where only bitcoin can enter and stay safe over a long time.

Tools range from clay soil, water, pen, floor(made of cartons), knife.


Stage 2: map out the red zone (Bitcoin zone-wallet) with blockades to regulate exit and entry—Choose your wallet of choice.

Stage 3: Introduce your Security and being sure to back up your security (Seed phrase)


Stage 4: Now you have bought your bitcoin and secured too. Note that...Not your seed, not your coin!


Stage 5: Allow to dry (Hold for a long term).

This is what I was able to achieve after the whole stress, it is not an easy task I must confess.
I made an average size jug kettle, I respect each and every one participating and the op for bringing this idea. Contest is one thing that brings people together.

I made a mask on my face by mixing tissue paper with paper glue.






Then, when the mask I made was hard, I made art on it with clay.

My Entry
My mud sculpture, an art that describes a concept to Hold your Bitcoin, no matter what, it shows the resilience to Hold and breaking free from financial limitations.
The fist and Bitcoin symbolizes the ability to Hold, it is bounded with chains which shows resilience, and anyone that continues holding will break against financial limitations.
Money bags symbolize/reinforce wealth, inscription of BTC as decentralization and empowerment on the local board Naija

I so love this work, especially when I mix my mud with fine sand and water, that texture that bonds together to avoid breaking or cracking is how we must hold and bond with Bitcoin

Mixture of water, which was kept for 2 days, complete 48 hours/  After mixing with the fine sand to get fine texture and to avoid cracks

Thank op for this wonderful opportunity to showcase our hidden talent,  muding this was actually fun , while doing it I got a lot of reaction and questions from my neighbors, they were curious to know what I’m doing and what is meant for , they all stood till I finished it , it was really fun and awesome.

So what I made is a pot and a Bitcoin in it and on the body :
You all know that a pot is used to store water and some valuables while Bitcoin on the other hand is a digital currency , so being on the body and inside represent risk , hope , volatility which means even the uncertainty of the market , we should be consistent in accumulating and holding for long time , which is why the Bitcoin is in the pot .
