eBay Chargebacks Hurt Bitcoin

Ok if there's anything I'm experienced with it's chargebacks. I used to play MMOs and sell the virtual currencies there and I got chargebacked a few hundred dollars from non legit buyers but that was when I was a teenager and Bitcoins are much different. Chargebacks on Bitcoins would consist of at least $450 for every coin and thats just ridiculous money to not be insured.

My advice? Don't sell directly to someone and ask for PayPal when you don't have any guarantees because all they have to do is click 1 button and they get their cash back. You can call PayPal all you want and cry and moan to them but they will just tell you sorry and in the end you'll be pissed. I'd recommend using a reputable exchange instead unless PayPal gets a serious policy about virtual currencies and doesn't just join the party so they can make a few dollars from the fees. This is serious business and PayPal is treating it like its not when a dispute happens.

I hope u guys be careful when doing transactions because I've gotten chargebacked before on PayPal with virtual currencies and let me tell you the first thing thats gona happen is your heart will sink and you won't be able to eat lol. Anyways don't wanna scare any of u but please be careful because getting scammed is not fun but PayPal is easily exploitable and they won't help sellers out when they need it.

yep exactly, way too many fees. Both companies have become overbloated and need higher fees to sustain themselves. Decentralized trade and currency solutions is the way to go

Their Fees have gotten out of hand!
I started on Ebay in 2006, fees were acceptable, I was able to unload many thins I no longer needed and make a few dollars.
Now, selling unneeded items no longer needs will barely pay for the postage after Ebay and Paypal bends me over.
