It's a hard game to predict. Ryan is obviously my favorite, but the only problem is that he's inconsistent. He fight properly only when he's in good shape. Meanwhile, i don't wanna underrated Benn. I see Benn has speed. he also has a big size, which may be a problem for Ryan to beat Benn.
Nevertheless, Ryan win by KO is my prediction for this game.

You know i believe Ryan will be fully prapared for this and i think the only chance owned by Benn to beat Ryan is that when Ryan is in his bad version.

Ryan's advantage over Benn is his lighting speed left hook which could end the fight abruptly if perfectly time and besides Ryan has a greater knockout ratio over Benn so i think bookies will place him as the favorite in this fight.

Ryan leads the game with more than 70% of chance to win this. So i have the same feeling like you if he's gonna defend his title.

On other hand it's interesting to see how we will see the fight between speed vs speed. However, Benn's pattern was unpredictable, and he has some similarities to Rolly. We knew how struggled Ryan to beat Rolly in the past. So i expect almost the same game with it.
Nevertheless, i believe Ryan has learned a lot since his lost to Rolly. Hope Ryan executes it better in this game.

As far as I know, it will still be his father Henry that is going to trained him, so he Eddy Reynoso for Ryan. I don't now if there is still something that Eddy can train Ryan though, I mean he has trained him before and Ryan went into other trainers too so he might have absorb so much knowledge already.

And being train by his father might be just cherry on top for him. For sure wants wanted to see Ryan winning again and then go to HE Turki for a rematch with Haney. That could be the perfect scenario for Ryan this year. Win this fight in September and then set-up a fight in Cinco-de-Mayo with Devin.

If the father Henry is also the trainer of King Ry for this fight, I am not very happy to hear this news because if King Ry is not still accepted by the grandmaster Eddy Reynoso, this makes it appear that King Ry might still not have the discipline in the gym. That usually is the best move, not to change what is working, but not all father and boxer tandems work.

Even Mayweather started with his father as his coach when he was still young, but later he moved away from his father and let his uncle do the job, and still Mayweather stayed undefeated. But of course this one is different, and I do not think coaching will be the problem if Ryan loses, here let us just accept that he is not consistent anymore since he is not undefeated, and Conor Benn is not an easy one.

I was only asking because if the grandmaster Eddy Reynoso has accepted to train King Ry, this is certainly a sign that King Ry has presently become more disciplined in training. This is also certainly a sign that he will be a stronger boxer hehehe.

But Eddy was the one that really train him in the beginning, that's whey we see some glimpse of him becoming great. But we really don't know that behind, Garcia is suffering and having some mental issues. That's why he chooses to go and exit the camp of Eddy Reynoso. In the last couple of years though, they have patch up their difference.

So maybe that's the reason why Ryan goes with his father, they are successful so why break it? Maybe if he will go with Eddy if he is going to fight for the rematch with Haney as this is high stakes and perhaps his father will also agree that he needs to train with the best and that is with the Reynoso camp again.

Instead, the boxer adjustment. So maybe Ryan thought that he should be the priority of Eddy. But we all know that he also trains Canelo Alvarez. So Ryan might take that negatively. And that's why we heard Canelo criticizing him that Ryan should be focus on training. And that could be true as Ryan losses a fight with Rolly Romero or even to Tank Davis. So it might not be the case of the trainer, but with the boxer concentration and mentality.

Yes, it might not be the trainer or his coach but could be the attitude of Ryan. His lost to Tank Davis could be debated as he was weight drain and there is rehydration clause. But then he has a lot of issues as well like being caught with PED and then losing to Romero which really derail the Haney rematch for now.

But he has moved on and train with other A-class trainer like Derrick James but it seems that it didn't work. That's why we might question whether it's the boxer that might really have the problem in the start.

So even if Eddy devoted his 100% of Ryan Garcia, it might not be enough for Ryan to be great like Canelo if he doesn't have the discipline and dedication. And this is what we have seen in some legends like Floyd and Manny and even Ali. They all have the discipline to go all in training and willing to put a lot of sacrifices.

We can also say the same with Goosen, the first trainer he went after he bolted out with Eddy Reynoso. He got a win as well but when everything went bad, he moved to another trainer in Derrick James and the same thing happen.

So again, it might not be the fault of the trainer themselves, maybe Ryan is the problem as he switches trainer.

But with his father, I guess he can't complain for now, until he suffers another L. And then find a new trainer and hope that Reynoso might be available then.

So this fight is now a go on September 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as this was officially announced by Turki Alalshikh in social media and also by Oscar De La Hoya. This means that all the problems that Ryan Garcia had with Golden Boy Promotions are already been settled and by the looks of it he will remain with Golden Boy Promotion if i'm not mistaken. With this announcement, for sure odds will follow and i think nothing will chance as Ryan Garcia will be the favorite to win this fight.

Saw this on my newsfeed and yeah what a good start on selling this fight. Both are well known trash talkers so we expect this not be the last and in the future presser we can expect more action lol. What amazed me on that presser was when Conor Benn started talking Mexican words, that surprised me.

As expected, Ryan Garcia open up as the favorite on this fight so for Ryan haters out here, some opportunity to win big if you bet for Conor Benn.
