Ryan Garcia's biggest advantage is definitely his explosive power and speed. He has a punching force that can change the course of the fight at any moment, so I think he always has a 50% chance of winning.
Because no matter how good his opponent is, even a single momentary burst of Ryan's energy can change the outcome. But his biggest problem is his stamina and the dips he experiences during the fight.
How long he can withstand pressure, how he will react to hard punches, and how mentally prepared he is are all question marks.

Based on the odds I’m seeing, Ryan Garcia is around -350 to -425. That means the bookies are giving him roughly 80% chance of winning, so yeah, he is clearly the heavy favorite here. But that doesn’t mean the other side has no chance. Ryan has already shown some weaknesses in his past fights, and we also saw that being the favorite doesn’t always guarantee anything.

For me this is still an interesting fight. Most people are expecting Garcia to win, but maybe this is also the kind of match where an upset can happen, especially if his opponent can survive the early rounds and make him work.

It's hard to guess how accurate the odds to determine the result when Ryan is not even taking this game seriously. When Benn is always practicing to improve his kill and put more preparation against him, but he's doing dancing and singing all the way.

So this reminds me with his fight vs Haney, though he won that, but he may not able to repeat the same result when he fight Benn soon.

Especially, he never fought aggressor power puncher before. So Benn may shock him during the game.

I still have hope for him to win as long as he's starting to take this game seriously instead of keep dancing and singing like nothing will happen.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Heheheh do not be tricked by King Ry's pictures and videos on social media. A similar occurrence before was witnessed on King Ry's fight against the crying Haney where King Ry was acting like someone similar to a man who is crazy! However, what everyone has witnessed was a very good performance from him and some knockdowns on the crying Haney!

I reckon if the trainer is the Mexican grandmaster Eddy Reynoso, we can be very certain that King Ry is only pretending to not be training hehehe.

First off: this is just my personal opinion-don’t take it as a betting prediction. I’m simply assessing this based on my own perspective!
The most likely outcome is  a Ryan Garcia victory by knockout (KO/TKO) before the end of the fight, likely around the 6th to 9th round.

Reason: Despite the British fighter’s very aggressive style, Garcia has a massive advantage in hand speed. Benn, for all his aggression, leaves himself too open when attacking, making him a perfect target for Ryan’s signature left hook.
Ryan Garcia has some of the "fastest hands" in modern boxing; he is naturally athletic, tall, and has "long reach", which will neutralize Conor Benn’s pressure and aggression.

I wouldn't say that it's the fastest that we have seen, specially when he did move up in weight, that speed diminishes but the power multiplied. So I guess that is part and parcel of moving up, you carry your power, but you might have slow down a bit.

And yes, we've seen that left hook, and we think that that is Ryan's only weapon. But I do see that he has power in both hands and have a good to a decent jab. His footwork might really be his biggest weaknesses as he goes and plodding and don't know how to move his head. But overall, it might be good enough to cancel out Conor Benn's agressiveness and win by knockout or by decision.

Moving up to a heavier weight class almost always involves a fairly long adjustment period to the change in weight. This is especially true if it’s a "quick transition". The body needs to adapt to the increased strain on the muscles, "adjust" its speed, and much more. In short—on the one hand, you become a tougher opponent; on the other hand, you become a tougher opponent… for yourself, too Smiley  But if a boxer takes this seriously and trains actively at the new weight, he can adapt within a reasonable amount of time.

I don't think so, it doesn't need to have a adjustment, on the contrary, Ryan might not need any of that. It's because he could have been walking around that weight already, and so there is no need to drain himself and so he will be comfortable with that as he is carrying it throughout his life.

That's why in his solid fight against Haney, you can see that he is very quick and the power is there. He might have lost to Rolly because of ring rust, but still no adjustment whatsoever in his weight. So here, he should be very comfortable and again, he is used to this weight even before going inside the ring and there will be no change in his diet.

Also saw this post on socmed, got me thinking that while Conor Benn is very busy training in the gym preparing for this fight, Ryan was also busy partying but on the other hand, this could be ploy so that the other camp might think that Ryan is not serious and not training hard for Benn, this is typical King Ryan hehe.

Came across a post that this fight is selling like hotcakes. It generated ticket sales of $6.3 million in just one day, meaning fans are eagerly awaiting for this fight and most probably the tickets will be sold-out.

@bisdak40. This is certainly why uncle Dana and the billionaire Arab Turki wants to open a contract for him to fight only for Zuffa Boxing. King Ry can create hype, however, he can also show that his hype is not only hype heheheeh.

Also, if King Ry's contract with Oscar dela Hoya of Golden Boy expires, we can be certain that King Ry and uncle Dana will have a partnership! This will also be similar to the crying Haney! The superfight that will be created is a unification of the welterweight championships.

It could be just a marketing strategy so people will talk about him. Thats already a classic style in boxing.

I think they already learned that boxing is also a business, and they need people to become interested enough to watch the fight. Its not only about real competition anymore, but also about finding the right opponent who can attract attention. But the odds are still the basis here, and undeniably Ryan is the heavy favorite.

Damn, so it was really effective and that was only the first day. We may see even more people buying tickets just to watch this fight.

From what I've search:

https://x.com/Turki_alalshikh/status/2081551411720937877

So that came from the official account of HE Turki. Although there's a lot of questions from fans regarding the veracity of that numbers. Nevertheless, this is a must see for boxing fans so I guess even Turki himself wanted to hype this fight in paper.

I just don't wanna see him underperform. I know he was winning the game against Haney, but he's also used dopping at that time.

So i feel a bit worry if he doesn't take this game seriously, he may be struggled to win because he is not using dopping.

It's getting a bit paranoid when i also saw how consistent Benn in training as preparation to fight him. So i just feel worry with his performance doesn't meet my expectation because it looks like i'll have my stack on him.  Cheesy Cheesy

Yes, this is what everyone is speculating including if we ask AI who will be the winner for this fight heheheh. However, this is my own argument against King Ry, the father Henry as his trainer. How can King Ry make an assurance that what has occurred in his fight against Rolly Romero will not happen anymore?

Similar to everyone, we want King Ry to win with a knockout, however, would it be very shocking if Conor Benn will win with a split decision?

Yes, you make a good point here, and I completely agree that the Henry Garcia factor is the biggest red flag for Ryan. When his father is in his corner, Ryan tends to fall back into his "bad habits", loses his discipline, and fights purely on instinct-which is exactly how Rollie Romero caught him.
But here’s my counterargument: Conor Benn isn’t Rollie Romero. Rollie is pretty clumsy and "wooden", he certainly hits like a sledgehammer, but he fights in a rather strange, "jerky" rhythm that’s hard to read over the long haul. Benn, on the other hand, is much more predictable and formulaic in his attacks. He moves forward in a straight line, and against a guy with very high-quality, albeit amateur, training and literally lightning-fast speed, that kind of straightforward pressure is like "jumping into a chainsaw".
So, while I accept your scenario involving a judges’ decision, I still think Ryan’s left hook will find Benn’s chin by the 12th round, if not by the 9th Smiley In short, we can discuss and run through more scenarios,I’d be happy to,  but the fight itself will reveal the most interesting outcome!
