This is the greatest risk Benn takes by cutting weight down to 147: If he cuts so low that he is drained/weak, that alone will win or lose the fight, no matter how good he is. Plus Garcia has a lot of reach and hand speed that is typically a nightmare for the pressure fighter, like Benn. In my opinion, Benn is in a whole lot of trouble here, that's for sure — Garcia gets this one.
I think this is a perfect weight for Benn, he is not a huge boxer to begin with. He did lost to a bigger guy in his first fight against Eubank at 156 lbs and then won at a catch weight in their rematch. But if you look at his records he is a natural 147 lbs boxer to start with.

So I don't think that weight will be the problem here. It will be his punch resistance and how his chin will hold up against Ryan's left hook. Or if he himself could land some good combo on Ryan to score points in the judges scorecard.

Ben is natural 147 pounder, so fighting on that weight range can provably help him to be in good condition compare when he force to go up against Eubank.

But I think weight is the issue, but rather if he's chin can absorb the left hook of Garcia. If he can penetrate with clean combination, maybe he has good chance to win many rounds. If it happens that Ryan would dominate which we all know he can, maybe the momentum will go to Ryan side and that's really bad for him.

Even though he's underdog, I want to see if he can hurt Garcia in this match.

Similar to you and many boxing fans, I also want to witness King Ry perform on his real level. Also, on the news that he used steroids, I have mentioned this before already. It is arguable that he used steroids. There  was an interview with uncle Dana some years ago where he mentioned that if his lawyers handled the case of King Ry, he would never be judged guilty. This implies that King Ry had tainted vitamins!
Really? If Ostarine was a vitamin, i didn't think VADA would marked him as positive after he fought haney. However, i hope he learned his past lesson. It's sounds so dumb getting suspended due to the dopping reason. He's talented and he has experience more than Benn. So it's arguably he can knock out Benn if he's

getting serious in this fight. no need for dopping or anything like that. It sounds i gonna try to pick him to win against Benn by KO.

The only worry for me is the father Henry because he is not a professional trainer similar to the Mexican grandmaster Eddy Reynoso or Derrick James.
True, but it seems henry has so much confidence about his son to win this. Even he called Benn has no experience like his son. So it may be the reason he took a charge as ryan's trainer for this game. It's because he believes his son won't struggle in this game.

Nevertheless i like so many confirence showed by henry. Hope his wish for his son is coming true.

@X-ray. It appears that you are not reading properly hehehhe. It is being argued that one of King Ry's supplements were tainted with Ostarine. I never mentioned that it is a vitamin which causes your reply to me to be very headshaking heheheheeh.

I will also mention again that uncle Dana mentioned that if his lawyers handled the case, King Ry's would never be found guilty. This certainly implies that uncle Dana and his team are very much certain that the cause for the positive test was caused by tainted supplements.

Yes, that's what I'm trying to say, His body and his height perfectly fits the 147 lbs and give or take that could be his normal weight when he is not fighting. He was forced to go up in weight to fight Eubank and was able to adjust.

But if we talk about him being comfortable, then 147 lbs is just about right for him. Similar to Ryan, when he was campaigning at a lower weight, he is weight drain that's why he lost to Tank. But when he moves up to 140 lbs to 147 lbs, that's where we see him winning again.

I have seen a post on socmed wherein Conor Benn has said that it will be his last fight at 147-lbs as he got trouble trimming to this weight. Though the fight is still more than a month but it seems that Team Conor is already acknowledging that they have trouble making the weight and if in a few days before the fight and he is so drained then i think King Ry will have an easy time dismantling Conor but hoping here that this would not the issue that leads to the cancellation of the fight.

@bisdak40. Does the difficulty of Conor Benn to reduce the weight to 147 pounds imply that he will have a weaker stamina on the fight? The answer would certainly be yes, I reckon heheheh.

Is there a sportsbook offering King Ry to have the victory with a knockout on rounds 10-12? I speculate that if there will be a knockout victory for King Ry, it will be on those rounds.

Dana said that but since he didn't help him it's changed nothing, though you're right it's not intentionally by him to get contaminated by Ostarine.  But it's already in the past, and we move on. I reckon some people say that Benn may need to replicate the way Rolly's fight to beat Ryan. This idea sounds hillarious, but quite possible to happen.

It's a obvious sign that he might have a problem with this weight. Or it could be just another psyche war on Benn's part so that Garcia might overlook him because of that statement. So we really don't know if this true or not. If he goes to 154 lbs, there are a lot of bigger guys there that can out punch Conor.

Is there a sportsbook offering King Ry to have the victory with a knockout on rounds 10-12? I speculate that if there will be a knockout victory for King Ry, it will be on those rounds.

It's actually a good bet in my opinion. But I haven't check any bookies yet as I rely recently on our local sports bookies to laid down the odds for us. But so far, it's just ML as the fight is still very far.

That's interesting to hear that from Conor Benn as he is not a naturally bigger fighter. Thus saying that this is his last fight and then obviously he has nothing to go but to move up to the 154 lbs which could be a dangerous for him.

We can hope that he can still trim down to his weight so that the fight will not be cancelled. In any case, I will assume that he has a good team behind him that can monitor his weight leading up to this big fight.

Uncle Dana said that it was none of his business and saying what he has declared is not in his interest, however, on the case he also said that he has asked his lawyers for a consultation on King Ry's case and he was told that from their experience this very much appears to be another case of a tainted supplement.

On the fight, agreed that Conor Benn can get the victory, however, if the father Henry has trained his son very well for this fight then we can be very certain that King Ry will win with a knockout!

The fight is on Mexican Independence day, so they are expecting it to be one of the biggest events of the year. There is too much money involved for it to be cancelled. Worst case scenario, they might make it a catchweight bout. The weight issue hasn’t been much of a storyline. Against Prograis, he weighed in at 148, so it shouldn’t be a major problem if he is disciplined in his training.

Something that has surprised me is that fights on Paramount+, whether it’s MMA or boxing, don’t have an extra cost for PPV. That means a lot more people are able to watch it. It’ll be interesting to see how it does in viewership compared to the Conor McGregor fight or the UFC White House event.

There's been countless of times where i see boxers who struggled to make the weight and so drained come fight night and they loss, if this is the scenario that Conor Benn will fall into then there is no doubt that King Ry will make an easy work of him. But the thing is, those post on social media about Benn struggling with weight might be a strategy so that King Ry would fall into a trap but i guess it would not happen. Garcia needed this fight so badly as this will be his ticket to a fight with Teo Lopez, Shakur or even the crying Haney, that is what he said in his interview.

These are the odds for Ryan Garcia winning the fight by knockout in rounds 7-12, worth a try as it is very juicy for me.

Tempting but risky. If you hit one of those bets then its really good money, but personally I would not bet on those odds. Im just not lucky when it comes to betting round ranges in boxing. What Im more comfortable with is win by decision or win by TKO. The odds are not that big especially if we are betting on the favorite, but at least for me its way safer.

But anyway its gambling, everyone has their own style.

For that kind of betting option though, I would really think carefully and not risk too much.
