In addition to transactions for my personal interests with people outside my country, Bitcoin offers investment solutions that are much better in terms of benefit growth, bitcoin opens up the world space in the online universe with more innovation so that it can encourage the adoption of digital transaction security on a much larger scale so that I can have alternative work with my old computer since I first knew it, encourages encryption, and convinces me of anonymity or keeping my personal data so that I can be much more concerned about it, there are still many benefits that I receive as a form of solution for my life to be better.

That irreversibility is a great feature of Bitcoin. And it's out of nowhere that one can make a wrong transaction due to different address.

It won't take a long time for checking if the address is correct and if you've been infected by a copy paste malware that copies the hacker's address.

Aside from this, just simply being the own bank. I haven't heard of the idea before but bitcoin allowed us to be our own bank.

Before I use escrow services to receive funds. It becomes an issue when the client demands extra testing while the period of testing is over, as agreed during communication. The escrow service will hold my funds until the deal is done, but with Bitcoin, the transaction is fully confirmed. With ease, if the client wants extra testing after the work is done, he has to pay for more. I can mention many, but this particular problem has been solved.

That's how I got into Bitcoin originally, OP! Many people in the forum will never understand how it is like to have an unfavourable passport. People around me talk highly of Wise (transferwise in my time), Revolut, Paypal. But if you're a third-worlder travelling for work or freelancing you really try to get as creative as possible. This is a similar situation in mine too. All those places, with chargebacks, and very troublesome issues that I faced (mainly with paypal which just took my money and I had nothing I could do about it) was the real reason.

As a freelancer, the moment I started to accept bitcoin, it became so much easier and after a while I started to only take crypto and for the past 8 years or so, I have not received anything outside of crypto, all I just took was crypto and worked for the crypto people and doing far better now.

The biggest benefit which I got from Bitcoin is that as a freelancer a lot was deducted by freelance platforms like fiverr or upwork. With Bitcoin, money is now exchanged instantly and without any cut. This benefit is not only limited to me but to other freelancers also who understand Bitcoin. If you live in a country where Bitcoin is not legalised or regulated then there are issues faced when you try to convert Bitcoin to fiat and this issue can also be resolved if you have friends in your circle who are willing to buy your Bitcoins.

Bitcoin has very good utilities and many use cases so that it can be very helpful for many people who are living in many different nations. Even so Bitcoin is unable to solve all problems created by governments and individual problems with many people. It has been just here, be useful and helpful but problems will never be solved only by Bitcoin.

Individuals must work and solve their own problems under governance of governments, and if anything can not be helped and solved by Bitcoin, people should never blame it on Bitcoin. They have to be responsible with their lives and own life issues, if anything to complain, complain themselves first, then governments in their nations.

 Bitcoin has many advantages from decentralization to it's investment opportunity but the fact that i can easily transfer huge amount of money to people globally is what got me triggered to love it more.

The fact that some banks in my country still experiences a bad network some days is a problem for my daily business, when most of my customers who are still using these banks wants to make payment for the items they bought from me, at times the they will do mobile banking transfer and I won't receive the money instantly, in some cases the situation will require you to go to the bank or the customer will have be the one to go. I have been accepting Bitcoin payment and such issues has never come up. I have seamlessly receive payment in Bitcoin and there was not troubles.
 Secondly, there's a current problem I'm facing with an investment I did in 2024 (I won't be more specific tho), right now there has been an issue in selling my asset to take my profit and capital, but all the time I have taken profit from my Bitcoin investment, it was fast and easy. Moral of The truth is Bitcoin solved the digitalisation of currency system and broke the barrier of every restrictions in currency system (excluding internet use). It makes transections faster and cuts a lower cost. So as a Gen Z I am really a fan of Bitcoin and it's usecases. It resolved money management for me and also for every bitcoiner.

Honestly for me, because of my country investing in bitcoin has helped me preserve some of my wealth and protected me from inflation.
Secondly, with regards to gambling the ease of deposit and withdrawal of payment, bitcoin has been more effect. Using my own country's fiat would have stressed me out.

Do people really put too much hope in their investment in Bitcoin like this? There's nothing wrong with expecting profit from where you have invested your money, but placing hope on it in the years to come might give the person some sort of disappointment since profit for such a mid-period has a high chance of happening, but it's not always guaranteed; reducing the expectation will be a means to stay safe.

I am not one who only buys, holds Bitcoin, and never uses it. I have that kind of friend who has been in the Bitcoin universe for years but never did a single transaction. I know this because he once asked me about his wallet address. Funny, right?

For years, I accepted BTC as payment for my services. The first time I used it was for MMM Global transactions, a Ponzi scheme “online business.” Most of you here probably know that. I’m sure it was one of the reasons that caused BTC price to jump high in that timeframe.

After that, I also got requests to make simple websites on Facebook from people in Nigeria, Philippines, and Singapore. All of them paid me in BTC.

I also used BTC for gambling back then. On this forum, I received payments in BTC for signature campaigns that I joined. I also won in an art contest few times here and got paid in BTC. Actually, I’ve been involved in BTC in many things.

I don’t know if this counts or not, but in the last 5–6 years, I’ve received my salary from a crypto agency in USDC, which is a product of blockchain that probably exists because of the existence of Bitcoin itself.
