Loan Defaulted [mnightwaffle]

@TryNinja - I went to your trust feed back page and couldn't find any notation that you have an active loan with mnightwaffle.  I did notice however, that you have had loans with another user who also takes out unsecured loans in the hundreds of dollars.

I don't think I ever left any feedback related to that loan with mnightwaffle, however it has not been repaid.

You sent that user $1000 then a day later $500 some 13 months ago and they confirmed receipt, however, there is noting to say that you were repaid that loan.

Were you repaid?  Why I ask is because that user stopped posting just one week (nine days) after mnightwaffle.  Same M.O. - multiple unsecured loans and falling silent a week apart.

I've kept contact with HedgeFx through telegram for a while. He claimed his bitcointalk account got banned and that's why he could not post anymore. We did a few other deals off the forum and everything has been settled. Eventually I decided to not loan to him anymore (due to some other issues with another user) and that's where we cut off contact.

He said he was banned and had the big "you have been banned" banner when logged in. I did question him on why he didn't show on modlog or bpip, but there was no explanation.

This could be a good question on the meta board. I am pretty sure a couple of moderators, especially the global moderator, would readily confirm the account status. If he paid up all the loan, then this should be no big deal

Both take out high value unsecured loans with only their past lending reputation as their guarantee.

mnight still has outstanding loans and doesn't seem to want to address the late loans.

hedgefx as we know is a self admitted ban evader. perhaps when he told tryninja that he had seen a ''BANED" label he was actually logged in from one of the other UID that is actually banned? @tryninja - when did he tell you he was banned? BPIP doesn't show that UID as ever being banned. (and how many lenders have been charmed into lending without collateral knowing hes a ban evader?) - (and, why wouldn't you leave trust feedback for a successful trade?)

hedgeFX had quietly become dormant, then reactivates a day after another user (mnight) reactivates to take out yet another unsecured loan?  Uncanny.

It's only a matter of time before the ever larger unsecured loans become an exit scam.
