Oyo state announces the near completion of 32.2km of the South-East segment of 110km of Ibadan Circular Road. The project aims to improve transportation, ease traffic, and boost economic activities in the region. This update highlights the administration's commitment to infrastructure development, according to the government's x handle.

Infrastructural development is very imperative in any place. Infrastructural development is one of the things that brings people to a given area. I truly commend the government of Oyo State for the good job, and should not step backwards.

When a leader has the interest of the people at heart, he will always do the right thing.
Some leaders are only after self development, and does not care about the development of their place, and such behaviour leads to underdevelopment in a given area.

I no deny say na good thing wey oyo state government dey do, but we no surpose to dey happy too much for things like this because na the reason we get government, and wetin be their work if no be to build a better road for it citizens?

I no see any discussion here because if other forum members start to dey update new new road wey our state government dey commission, our local board go full with so many useless post, so I go advice say you lock this thread because it's of no use

Road projects like this can really make a difference, less traffic stress and even opening up new areas for development. So we ought to give credit to things like this but at the same time I think the people are watching beyond just announcements. Completion  is one thing but quality and maintenance is what really matters. So it is a very good step that has been made but the real test will be sustaining that level of development and making sure it truly benefits d people for a long term.

Construction of roads and building other social Amenities to better the lives of the people are the basic and primary duties of the government so Oyo announcing the completion of 32.2km is a welcome development that everyone is happy at it but in as much as building roads are important Job creation should also be looked into because it's difficult now to hear that government is embarking on massive employment for the people.

Access roads are what makes a city or an area strives when it comes to development because if an area has good roads you see people trouping to those areas to do business,  we shouldn't rejoice too much because if not for the corruption that has eaten deep into the government these are what they carry out as it is one of the key amenities that every government embarks on. Government should empower the Youths with entrepreneurship schemes to ease the suffering in the country.
