There are many reasons why it is good to always keep prove of deposit because while depositing it is possible for the deposit not to reflect on the casino, mostly happens with new casino and proof of deposit is the only way to rectify the challenges and their are other reasons why this is very important unknown to us because any strange challenge that requires deposit. And this is the only proof to tender when a casino tries play smart with gamblers.

I ask you to always keep proof of your deposits when using any online casino. This shouldn’t be only for high rollers but also to those who deposit small amounts, because you never know when you get lucky and win an amount where the casino refuses to pay you out.
I suppose this will also be useful for proving the origin of the funds to the tax authorities, as I suspect these guys will want to get their hands on your hard-earned gambling money. Let’s make it a habit to save a screenshot or copy the Tx Id of every deposit, and also your account history page. Ive seen many cases where players couldn’t file a proper complaint on platforms such as AskGamblers or even be taken seriously in the forum, simply because they lacked evidence especially after their account was closed.
You have proposed a good initiative, because there is no "card" weaker than an attempt to prove one's case without having "strong" evidence to do so. I think its a good idea to create a folder or document to store this data. You never know when you might need it. For example, a casino may wrongly accuse you of something and lock your account without warning, not able to remember or provide any evidence.
Is it simply a mistake for a casino to accuse you and block your account? Or is it done deliberately to avoid paying out winnings to the "lucky ones"? Because the casino has more power in this situation. If anyone has better tips or more methods for keeping records feel free to share them…
Maybe just shouldn't "play" against someone who has a "joker" (or 2 at once) hidden up their sleeve?

That Tx ID record can always be gotten from the place which was used to fund the casino if you actually remember it, and one thing to store and keep should be the deposit address provided by the casino in case you can't access it again, and a better way to store these records could be in Excel format so that you can include both the date and history of the transaction, just as some use the same method to record their gambling history. Keeping all necessary information Is very important, at least that is what I do most of the time, I don't know why but I just feel to take a screenshot of every page that involves financial transactions and my bet/game page I mean my active games this make it easier for me to share those images in discussions or to use them as prove of my transactions in case problem arise along the line while I am dealing with the casino. For future reference, keeping such informations is very important, because as the case may be, incase anything happens to the casino or they try to deny you, your only saviour is the evidence that you kept. So people are very cunning if you didn't have any evidence or something tangible to present, there is no way they will believe you. But I think any trusted casino that has genuine manager will try to frame their players, especially if they are willing to go a long way, because denying or framing the customers is like killing the casino gradually, and chasing the customers away. Because any gambler who gamble experienced that without being able to prove himself or herself will never collaborate with the casino again.

Dear community, we used to threads discussing games, betting strategies, and even the psychology of gambling. Today, I want to bring and highlight something different yet important where every gambler should take seriously.

It's always better to save details on our end just in case we get into any trouble then we can use it. But on a side note, do we really need to save screenshots of deposits since we already have the transaction recorded on the blockchain ? I understand that we can take an immediate screenshot in case we win something big on the gambling site so that the site doesn't cheat us by removing those bets from our account. But other than that I think deposit screenshots are not needed.

You’re right keeping a record of your deposit is one way to deal with problematic deposit processes as you mentioned. Also, sometimes when you try to make a deposit at a casino there’s a field or form that requires you to upload proof of your deposit. I’ve come across casinos like that before, but I’ve ignored it on occasion and everything turned out fine.

I am not a regular gambler anymore. However, if I remember correctly, I never got banned from any casinos so far. I think I have played in more than hundred casinos, and I never had to keep the proof of my deposits. I admit that your suggestion is good. Anyone might need these documents if they ever get banned by the casino. However, I don't think people would do that. They don't even use unique password for different casinos.
For me, since I never got banned anywhere and I never had troubles with the casinos, I won't bother to take screenshots of every deposits I make. I barely gamble once a month these days.

Although I too never got banned anywhere and I too have played in more than hundred casinos, I would suggest taking a screenshot if for that you have to just push one and then it's automatically saved in a folder(that's how it is on my computer). You can clean that folder once in a year, reflecting on the deposits you made in the process if you delete the screenshots one by one. It can give an idea on how much you spend on gambling, and that's a useful thing.

Honestly this is good advice, especially now when many platforms ask for verification or extra checks during withdrawals. Keeping screenshots, transaction IDs, and emails can save a lot of stress later if something goes wrong. I also think people should keep records of bonuses they used and important account notifications, because support teams sometimes ask for details that are easy to forget after a while. Another thing people underestimate is how useful it is to read the casino terms carefully before depositing, especially regarding wagering requirements, payment methods, and withdrawal limits. Even free spins or smaller promotions can come with conditions that affect withdrawals later. I was recently checking some free slot offers on the UnionSlots page here and it reminded me how important it is to understand the details attached to bonuses before claiming them. Keeping proof of deposits together with bonus information honestly makes the whole experience much smoother if any issue comes up later.

Yeah, totally agree. Learned this the hard way not too long ago. I had an issue with sportbet.one where I deposited crypto and it didn’t show up in my balance. I contacted support thinking they’d just check the blockchain and fix it quickly. They refused to do anything until I sent a screenshot from my wallet showing the txid and their deposit address. Since I use a few wallets, it took me a while to find the right transaction. Without that proof, it looked like I wouldn’t get credited. Now I just save a screenshot of every deposit screen and the txid every time. Takes a couple of seconds and avoids issues later.

Because any gambler who gamble experienced that without being able to prove himself or herself will never collaborate with the casino again. For future reference then it would be that useful but do you really think that most gamblers will definitely be trying out to keep or having those screenshots of your deposits anytime you do play? For sure what you do have in mind is that you would be losing in the end by the way then why would be trying out to make screenshots on which you would be thinking that its just that useless. You would be able to see its relevance or importance once you would be able to experience those issues on which it would be needing up some proof something like that but we do know that these kind of cases are actually rare or not that common on which means that they dont really need to do this stuff again and again because they are already presuming on what would happen ahead and its just that a waste of time. Although it might not happen to you as of this moment but it could happen in the future and if you that somewhat paranoid when it comes to this matter then taking up screenshot is just that a 1 second tasks to be done.

Maybe just the important one and not everything because if you are a frequent gambler then there's a lot that you need to save or keep records. Although casinos has the record already. But I have noticed though that one casino that I played has change their recording. Before you can see all your bets and how much you won or lose in a certain day. Now after the upgrade, I can't see how much I lose in day, maybe they wanted to hide it from the gamblers but for me, it's a important data so that I can track my win/lose records.

It depends, usually there are 2 main reasons for this: 1) The people that work in support are some of the most stupid people to have ever existed, and this is in no way limited to gambling companies. If you encounter one, and it is quite likely, you may have all sorts of issue. It is the kind of people that know only that 2+3=5, they are unable to reach 5 by any other kind of way such as 1+4=5. That is how dumb they are, they should never have been given jobs of any kind but the pay is quite shit so that is why these jobs get the worst of the worst. 2) The company policies are terrible. In other cases, the support staff may not even be that bad but they are given strict company policies that are just dumb. They do not let them deviate from a procedure even if it would benefit all sides of the equations. People who are addicted to technological devices in the modern world forget that every single thing that you are using is having bugs all the time, just most of them are hidden from your view. For whatever reason, the deposit may not register in the system at all -- at even rarer times the system may even refuse to acknowledge the deposit even if it is sees it without manual intervention. Saving proof is important when dealing with any kind of platform relating to crypto. Your deposit address could even change from a glitch and there may not even be a log that confirm a change, there are all kinds of edge cases that can be easily solved with record keeping. Most people act like lazy NPCs, and only care about these things once disaster strikes. Be different, be forward thinking about issues and you'll avoid most of them.

Surely keeping could be useful even if the infamous state asks you where that money came from, and if you are banned from the casino how do you prove it? it might be a good idea, and a good solution. I don't play in casinos, so I don't have this problem but it certainly could happen.

Keeping all these transitions history manually can be very stress if you are the kind of gambler that likes betting everytime and make deposits every single day. There are 365 days in a year and keep track of these transactions in a manual way will be very stressful for nay player that think they can keep tracking their transactions manually.
So is it necessary to collect the history of all transactions of a gambler? If yes, then copy the screenshots or tx and collect them in a safe place. But mind is, transaction history with the casino is not required. It is important to collect tx only for large amounts because the casino never confiscates small amounts. Rules should be followed to avoid these problems. And writing everything down would be very boring.

Yeah, agree with you. Sometimes it’s support being clueless, sometimes it’s just dumb company procedures. And yeah, keeping records really matters with crypto. It feels unnecessary until something breaks.

Do not forget that when you are gambling on a crypto casino, there should be no need for you to keep prove of deposit since you can access it from the blockchain. Technology has gone far from keeping transactions when you can copy a wallet address and check all the transactions it has. This is the main reason why you don't have to keep any transaction prove for anyone.

No. There's no need for this. Why do I need to stress myself to make a screenshot or save the transaction ID of every deposit I make when I can easily copy it from my wallet whenever there's an issue? The moment a transaction is sent, a transaction ID is generated, and it is automatically saved on the wallet.

I don't think this is fair to the gamblers and any casino that is known for doing this should be avoided because not everybody can keep record of their deposits or their bet slips. The casino should be fair and they should give everyone the same treatment despite how much they are placing for their bet, just because someone is staking a small bet does not mean they should disregard their bet and treat them like they are nothing while giving full attention to the gamblers that stake bigger amounts of money. A casino should be known for its trustworthiness hence there should be no reason for you to prove that you won when they are meant to pay you although if they are some minor mistake from the casinos that is unknown to them then you having a proof can help your case.

Taking screenshots of every deposit sent to the casino must be kept at all time, although I fail to keep record probably because I have never gotten any bad experience relating to such but, we can never predict what might happen next knowing fully well casino drama and winning are very common these days. Either the casino decides to stress withdrawal process or an act to scam depending on the kind of situation well, as mentioned by the op transaction details might stand as a prove in any difficult situation yet the kind of casino matters a lot.
