Are you just too mentally challenged to comprehend rather simple forum rules or do you prefer that rules are always for others and not you... because you are so special?

Rule #32 is quite easy in my opinion. If your own post is the last one in a topic and it's less than 24h ago, you should edit it and amend your new brain farts. Same if you respond to another user and your previous post or response is less than 24h old.

Reason for the 24h span is that you're not allowed to bump a topic within less than 24h.

That's maybe a bit of an interpretation but to my knowledge widely accepted. If moderators think, interpret or enforce it differently: please, make rule #32 more accurate and unambiguous.

Oh, and it's quite easy to quote and respond to multiple users because below the post entry box there's the Topic Summary with the last twenty posts and everyone of them has Inser Quote links to facilitate quote insertion at the cursor position in your post entry box.

That's not rocket science exactly...

another noob with massive merits he surely earned.  more than posters i can name that would put you and the rest of the UBI MERIT ARMY to shame.

you clearly didn't read what i posted.

This rule was never enforced and i can prove it to you with the most famous guys on this forum.  I know cause i knew them well on here and on other platforms where we talked daily.

so this strict enforcement is new, just like you.  Like i also mentioned, in a full decade and 14,000 posts on here, all done on my busted up iphone, i never had posts deleted or merged, and "consecutive posting" was as normal as it is on any platform you use today.

if you weren't so lazy and actually earned those merits you would have read what i posted, and looked up those other people and their known sock accounts and see that rule errrrr, #32, didn't exist or nobody knew about it.

Do you think people join a forum or platform and go read all the rules?  Do you read the instructions manual for Ikea or your car or tv?  I never have.

so if rule #32 existed before, then a) it didn't apply to special people like me, bruno and others or b) there was no UBI ARMY of enforcers to really kill the crypto buzz and prevent geniuses from doing their job.

EDIT:  I'm busy devving multiple coins i launched on this forum so that's what i'm here for.  What value do you add, merit guy?  Trolling devs?  Amazing business model.  You should ask the people who gave you those merits you didn't earn who I am and what I do.

Stop wasting my time, this is the last place I come to post for fun, this is a job i don't get paid a dime for doing.

Your account roughly predates my first account on this forum by some months (I don't mind having lost that account due to one of the forum hacks and where I had no details posted to recover it properly), but for sure you've posted a lot more than me. Who cares? Maybe you could come up with some stronger arguments to belittle others, if it itches you. Whatever...

Do you think people join a forum or platform and go read all the rules?
They maybe should, some don't care at all. Some ignorance of rules can get you banned temporarily or even permanently (you have experience with that, haven't you). Don't cry later or need another ban appeal.

Feel free to ignore me, I'll do likely the same. I don't need to evaluate you for all your soo impressive dev accomplishments whatever they were. Your attitude sucks and likely you think the same of me. Mind your business, your highness.

I've not used this forum on a phone for quite some time, and only then partially when traveling. I can probably understand somewhat that editing / quoting is miserable on a phone. So, I do have some sympathy for that. However, as explained consecutive posts can be extremely disruptive to others especially when its a lot of them.

Do you think people join a forum or platform and go read all the rules?
Only expected really if they are going to be a part of the community for a long period of time. One off questions, I don't really expect any user to read the entire list of rules before they post, but this is a community and therefore I do expect long term users to familiarize themselves with the guidelines. I don't expect them to remember every single one, and I don't expect them to not make mistakes and have a few posts subject to moderation. I just ask that they consider others when using the forum, which is really what the forum guidelines are aligned with.

Do you read the instructions manual for Ikea or your car or tv?  I never have.
No, I don't but me forgetting a washer on my workshop table so now it wobbles doesn't effect anyone but me.

get real dude.  And i don't know one single person that has gone and read all the rules on bitcointalk, twitter, facebook, telegram or any other place.  People just wanna engage and speak their minds.

To be honest I'm not sure how genuine the support for BSV on twitter can be. Surely there's supporters out there but we can't be sure if there's widespread genuine support.

There's more concrete stuff to judge a software project based upon anyway. Code, contributors, functionality, usage... Just to name a few.

But at the end of the day people are free to make their own judgements generally. If someone genuinely believes CSW is Satoshi it's their right. It's not a crime to believe this and not a scam to promote this idea either. The act of scamming is the act of selling deceptive promises. The only one making promises here is CSW. His supporters and his cronies aren't to blame imho. Because they aren't forcing anyone to buy BSV or believe that he is Satoshi. And I'd go and far as to say that genuine "CSW is Satoshi" supporters may just be incompetent rather than malicious. But how are they going to be convinced otherwise if debate is banned and CSW is made to seem like a martyr in the eyes of these incompetent people?

CSW as an individual in my view is a scammer himself for the simple reason that his master plan had a malicious egotistical goal, to subvert BTC by force through courts. We must be thankful the ultimately failed and moreso even failed in a spectacular fashion. But given that we're probably over with the court sruff... There may or may not be some merits in the code produced by projects CSW oversees. If someone supports CSW to an extent but also has the intention to discuss some potential merits of CSW's coin (BSV) then they should be free to do so here as well. This debate is worth having imo.

At worst the points of why BSV is good should be challenged, at best, if there's any merit to it, it could be inspiration.

I'm saying all this as a huge disclaimer just to be crystal clear that I support the right of people to discuss BSV in spite of me personally vehemently disliking CSW.

My tl;dr is that if something is ridiculous or bad, it should be taken down with arguments rather than banned because otherwise it'll look like a martyr situation to many which is even harder to control. There are however some situations which are actively malicious and don't even deserve the light of day through debate like Nazism. If someone thinks this about BSV they should say so but I don't think we're at this threat level.

i only had 1 merit point to give and your post deserved it.  Apparently i'm not worthy of being part of the "merit source mafia" anymore.  Funny, someone called it that cause clearly i wasn't part of anyone on the inside of Bitcointalk, i was just a super dev super devving.

regarding BSV, they're building momentum on twitter and i think it's real.  I don't own any and i don't plan to buy any even tho i think it has great potential.  My issue with CSW is personal because he told me some lies in 2017 that caused a lot of irreparable damage so i just prefer to not touch anything he does, but it's personal, i actually tell my friends and family to buy ~50 BSV.

Side note:  I was telling people on bitcointalk to mortgage their houses when BTC was ~$300-$400 and i told them the Bitcoin ETF was guaranteed and $10,000 was imminent and it would look cheap. And i was not a bitcoin maxi at all - it was just what i was convinced was coming.

At any rate, your point is excellent and fair, open debate is usually how you expose flaws and problems.  And there's the block button if you don't like a person or what they post.

Finally, the way i see it, most bitcoin forks are gonna have a massive run - probably this summer-fall so be ready for that if you're holding any of those forks you got for free.

and like always...

Thank you for playing...

i didn't get banned for some silly rule like consecutive posts.
Then you just started the habit again. Huh
The reason for the ban has been stated not even a day has passed yet, and this conversation has just shifted to the next page.

Don't say you don't accept that reason, and want to cry a second time or until you get a reason that sounds satisfactory to you.

wait, how many consecutive posts exactly are a violation?
Consecutive posts. Period. They tend to clutter the discussion and only seldom make sense.

32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.
If done occasionally or presumably unknowingly it's not a big deal, but if done repeatedly and multiple times in a row even after posts have been merged, warned, etc then a ban might be given.

Man there's so fww BSVers left here that I'm almost feeling like we should give amnesty to some so they can come back and start posting. I miss lurking on debate threads. Now there's almost none
Yeah it can be fun dunking on them over and over again while they try to make desperate excuses for promoting obvious fraud.

I just have this deep sinking feeling that everyone is gonna be shocked by CSW and BSV.  I still refuse to personally buy any tho.  I see way better opportunities.

I do troll CSW and his gang of misfits on twitter tho.  😂

Did Vlad2Vlad really deserve to be unbanned?

Those who did him that favor obviously think he deserves it, so no one else's opinion is important. I'm just wondering why the OP didn't lock this thread and instead used it to shill a worthless altcoin?
