It's easy to read what's going to happen, both parties claiming victories, and they don't want to yield to each other's demands. The ceasefire seems ok to both parties, but they are in fact planning a much worse attack and retaliation
I just sold my best-performing altcoins and expect to buy back again after the ceasefire. I just felt something worse is coming based on what I'm reading right now.

You mean those that have bought bitcoin that are in profit can sell some of their coins, but I do not think that is necessary. I can only advise them not to sell but continue to hold until 2029. By that time, bitcoin would have increased very well in price. I am expecting bitcoin to be between $150000 and $250000 by that time. People should not let the war let them make mistake, they should continue holding and not turn into a trader.

Already it's obvious that since the negotiations between the two countries has not hold water, it will affect the price of Bitcoin, and once the price of Bitcoin is down, other cryptocurrencies price will also come down, so we need to know that the price of Bitcoin falling affects other cryptocurrencies...

I'm not supporting the opinion of investors should sell off of their cryptocurrencies they hold, you can advice people who is holding a memecoin that doesn't have a potential...but investors that's hold bitcoin for future purposes shouldn't adhere on the idea of selling their bitcoin and other valuable altcoins because of panic.

Even if the negotiation takes place, how can you be sure it won't breached within 1 or 2 week. It has always been this way, they negotiate -> ceasefire breached within few days.
Honestly it's time for us to diversify energy source and use renewable. No time better than now where anyone who uses EV are incentivized not to pay the high gas price. Like it or not we gonna ditch the use of fossil fuel anyway and EV has been pretty good with BYD recent technology that's currently presented in Europe such as 9 minute charging for 1000km distance.

The uncertainty happened between US and Iran have been driving market to go up and down significantly. So i think any pump that happened in short time span is just a fake pump. Both US and Iran are trying to defend their own interest. So i think the uncertainty of market will be going for years.

It's impossible to expect one side to agree with other side's offer when the agreement was clearly only giving disadvantage is one sided only. So don't be surprised if Alts will become a place to pump and dump.

Just a small ann like Iran rejected US negotiation already brought BTC dumped to below 75k. If there will be more bad news mean bad impact to the crypto.

Plus, this is not the type of war where people go and shoot each other, it is the "modern" war, where it is just planes, missiles and sanctions etc that are doing all the fighting, so it is harder to end this, because both sides have endless missiles and can just shoot and wait and shoot and wait as long as they need to, they can actually both build missiles faster than they shoot it at this point, but they have both huge arsenals so not even needed that.

Either the negotiation take place or not, I don't think by now this is going to be a serious Factor to determine the market volatility or send them market go bullish for any reason, everything lies in the hand of the general performance of crypto markets as to weather there is going to be a fall or rise at any time and not to fully depend on the Iran and US war, except by coincidence that the market react.

I won't be selling now, I'll be practical to wait for the next months to see this bear market ends. I'm not trying to be greedy. And looking at the markets, the negotiations have been halted while Trump mentioned that he's still waiting for some good deals with Iran. The market hasn't reacted negatively yet and instead of that, the market is moving positively and we're getting close to $80k this time. I have no idea what makes the market move this much, I haven't seen the news lately. Is there any development on the case and situation from the Strait?

Don't be too rash in making decisions, if you have altcoins it is very natural to panic and sell because it will be relatively more hit but if you only have bitcoin you need to calm down and don't need to overreact, the conflict between Iran and the US might heat up to a more serious one but if you know that all this will subside the sensation is the same as when Russia and Ukraine you will remain calm and not worry that all of that we pass and the market will still grow when it's time.

Both declared ceasefire, but the US are still doing things that could affect the other country just like claiming the Strait of Hormuz, and not letting them pass thru the strait and aside from that, Iran retaliated thru closing the strait again and attacking the ships that are passing. I mean the ceasefire for me doesn't make any sense aside from the fact that it just delayed the bombs that are falling down towards Iran.

April 22nd has ended, and TBH, I expected a big move after that, but it seems like nothing happened which for me is a bit unexpected. With both parties not agreeing to something, I expect that this war will last even longer hence, many people will still have a hard time. Right now, the strait is fully restricted, and being controlled by the US. Until there are no negotiations happening, until there are no agreement from both parties, until there are no things that both countries agree, the war continues, and the more the war continues, the more people will be suffering.

US was talking with Iran's foreign minister Abbas Araghchi and have come to the ceasefire but somehow the IRGC in Iran is talking the opposite. At the moment it's confusing where to talk to for a ceasefire because everyone have their own idea because if this continues, ceasefire will never be reached and the tanker will be stuck for more prolonged period.
Even if there is announcement of ceasefire in the future, I will be very doubtful about it.

Altcoins ain't for long-term holdings because their future isn't certain which is the reason why if you see a little profits, you should sell without wasting time because you might not see that price again as it can start to dump and dump without pumping.

If you must invest in altcoins, you should know that you are gambling and don't expect much from it. The war might affect altcoins but it wouldn't affect bitcoin because not all altcoins will be influenced by bitcoin price when bitcoin price is pumping.

The war might affect altcoins but it wouldn't affect bitcoin because not all altcoins will be influenced by bitcoin price when bitcoin price is pumping.

Without any influence from the war, Altcoin will still have difficulty increasing, while on the other hand the war can affect the price of bitcoin because bitcoin is the main instrument of the crypto market but the decline is only temporary as a response to investors trying to secure their finances amid conflict and global market uncertainty.

The least that we can do is like the OP said just take our profitable position and hold up till the market is calming down, CASH IS KING at this point if the geopolitical condition getting worse than we can't do anything if the market start to appear RED.

Altcoin at this point is kinda tricky bitcoin can up and down from 70-80K in a couple of week while the BTC.D/Bitcoin Dominance still stable means there is no money flow into altcoin
