Even if they "miss" on their recommendation sometimes, there's no harm using multiple explorers to see how they predicted what fees you should us if your target is next block confirmation.

Personally I've been using Electrum recommendation for weeks now. It probably helps that most of my recent txs don't have to be confirmed within the next 30 minutes or so.

Does Electrum recommend fees under 1 sat/vbyte yet? If not, you could pay a lot less by manually adjusting the fee.

The fast confirmation fee right now is 0.2 sat/vbyte but mempool.space is showing 2 to 3 sat/vbyte which is not true.
Mempool.space is only showing estimated fees, and fees can quickly change at any time.
I am just looking at their website now and I can clearly see fees shown bellow 1 sat/vbyte, but you can always run mempool.space with your own bitcoin node, if you don't trust them.
You can also use several different sources to compare estimated fees, for example whatthefee.io or bitref.com

High priority = I want my transaction confirmed in the next block and I don't want to risk having to wait longer.

They recommend 2 sat/vbyte, you pay 0.5 sat/vbyte and gets a quick next block confirmation, sure. But there was probably a non-zero risk of having to wait 10 extra minutes for a second block. Cheesy

Right now:

-Mempool-
No priority 0,2
Low 0,2
Medium 0,5
High 1

-Electrum ETA-
Next block 3.2
Within 2 blocks 2.1
Within 5 blocks 1.2

I couldn't get < 1 sat v/byte with any option (i.e Mempool). Lowest was 1 sat/vbyte.
