Anytime you are in that mood to chase losses just know that there is nothing like a last deposit because the more you tell yourself that's you just want to play one more game it's going to lead to multiple trials which eventually leads to losses. The best thing to do is always to stop whenever you can instead of continuing because whenever you think about what you have lost when gambling there is no way you can stop easily because you would want to keep on trying to recover, at this point it's actually desperation and you are going to end up losing more than you planned to.

I don't see any reason why someone will be chasing loss when they have what the can do to stop it. You see, what you can't win at first trial, it's better you don't chase it if the first trial didn't come as expected. There are some things that are at best if left the way they are not to be rush like you want them. There is nothing good in gambling when you chase what you could have avoid immediately but if you have addiction, it will be difficult to stop.

I don't know for OP but gambling experience varies, you might have it impossible to overcome but I don't think I will be too naive to be making deposit and keep saying last deposit and don't know when to stop. It's better you re-examine your gambling addiction just incase you know that you are addicted. Some of us loss money because of what Chelsea did yesterday but I didn't over reacted because I know they are not good, it's just something that tells me they might win but I still loss it and I never made another deposit despite seeing other night games.

This kind of situation will be difficult to avoid especially when we have started to be obsessed with gambling, we will always say that this will be the last bet before quitting or the last deposit for us to gamble in the period done but everything will still be the same because we always repeat it again because we are trapped in the atmosphere of gambling and our ambition to try to restore the defeat that previously occurred.  At least for people who are already obsessed or those who are at a certain level of gambling addiction will feel the same way and I was one of those who felt that way when I was too stupid to see gambling as an option to earn more money. However, this can be realized when our money is gone and this can be a turning point (although maybe not all gamblers feel this way) but those of us who realize the mistakes we have made will try to avoid it happening again even though we still can't get away from the gambling we still do.

Anybody that is using his money to gamble without taking conscious move to limit how they gamble and lose money will have themselves to blame. Those thinking comes from losses, because when you loss and emotion comes you’re not even thinking straight again… it will just turns into chasing and chasing.. which does not ever end well..

I was before and there were times that I am still was. But I know how it feels when I am on that point thinking that I just need one of more last deposit to make it up. Yes this is a true thing it happened to me too. It is shameful to say that I was once addicted to gambling and lost a lot of money there and at that time I believed just such a big lie. And I sometimes decided that I would borrow a lot of money from friends to gamble and this would be my last gamble and this time I would win and recover my losses and get out of gambling. But I could never stick to it and I took a loan from the bank to gamble. It was a terrible past for me but I am very happy that I was able to get out of that funnel. And I also believe that all gamblers like me make such false promises to themselves

This is hard for all of us because we have access to our funds outside gambling and we can touch it and spend it whenever we think that we'll be chasing some losses again. It's true that someone needs a strong discipline on this one because no matter how many times we say that we will be playing within our limits, that doesn't happen at all times. from my personal experience a few years ago, i feel it's very difficult to stop when losing. this is because human psychology is more likely to feel disappointed when losing $10 in gambling than spending $20 on groceries. the brain needs a return from gambling because it wants to gain a profit. it's not like buying goods or food, the return is a product, not profits so no reason to chase anything from product.

when i lose in gambling, without getting anything back, my brain starts to think "if i hadn't gambled, i would still have my money.", i know i was regretting when gamble, but the funny thing is, after this thought, the brain just starting to think about "maybe with one more deposit, to get back what i lost before." of course this just a trap, its a lie!. 1 depo turns into 2 or 3, and in the end i only stop when i have nothing left.

i believe this happens not only to me but also to a lot of people here. even though they talk about "control yourself" in the comments, in reality, some of them also unable to stop when lose and keep making more deposits. then, after losing everything, they come back to the forum and give suggestions like "you have to control your gambling activity."

everything can happen behind the screen. but this can be a lesson to learn, never follow your brains when losing, if you are trying to do one more deposit, you are ready to losing more money. because no guarantee because of you are making more deposit, you will win, only the lucky gambler that achieve that. if you are unlucky gambler,  you will end up with lose all of your money from several times you are making deposit.

I often remind my friend to limit the deposit money when he wants to gamble, but I repeatedly fail to remind him, even he keeps extending his loan to keep gambling.
Every once in a while he remembered and realized that what he was doing was at great risk of losing everything, but for some reason he kept doing it.

The firmness on the decision to how much money would have been spent on gambling is a remedy that someone is still in full charge on his or her life. There is no end of filling up your bank account and you will be inviting serious troubles that you may find hard to fight after.
