That’s why I believe that before you start gambling, you should have a well-developed strategy tested with small stakes. You deposit a very small amount and place minimal bets. I'm actually on the same foot. We may be good in words and in making rules, but when it comes to gambling, I always come back to zero like even if I'm aware of the future outcomes of my actions, but still I'm always willing to take the risk. The only problem I see here is the issue of self discipline and nothing else, as an individual one ought to set certain boundaries and standards that should guide our ways of doing things, no one owns your mind and you are the architect of your life. So, if you don't know when to stop then regrets will soon set in, it's better to first budget the amount of funds that you intend to gamble with, in such situation if you lose you wouldn't bother going further to engage in more bets all in a bid to recover your loss quickly.
Above all, a disciplined individual wouldn't gamble with what he or she can't afford to loose to avoid regrets that might lead to depression.
