In my opinion, the origin of the name Blockchain and Bitcoin!

As far as I know, the first created and successful product of blockchain technology is BTC Bitcoin.

So, in my analysis, blockchain is "block + chain".

Block: to bind or block a specific product, number or accounting activity, where it cannot be increased or decreased at will.

Chain: Here, chain means to bring a region and account or number under a chain through technology and this is what we mean by blockchain technology.

Now let's come to the word Bitcoin, which is composed of "bit + coin". BTC

Bit: I think the word 'bit' is derived from 'byte'. According to my knowledge, byte is the source of computer logic or memory. Since 8 bits is 1 byte and 1024 bytes is 1 (KB) kilobyte, so bit is the source of byte.

Coin:  Since it carries a value equivalent to coin and is used in transactions, it is called coin. We know that coin was the first transactional and practical currency in the civilized world, so it was named 'Bitcoin' by adding the word 'coin' after 'bit'.

Have I analyzed the matter at least somewhat logically?

If you are saying it cannot decrease or increase at will it sounds a bit controversial. Controversial in the sense that you are saying if there is some sort of approval there can be some level of manipulation. The right and perfect word here is temper proof. Like even if for any reason it gets tempered with it no longer have the truthy representation of the number, record or data.

Chain: Here, chain means to bring a region and account or number under a chain through technology and this is what we mean by blockchain technology.

Here you are using a word to define itself. Structure linkage can be good replacement for chain in this context. Where we can say it is a structured linkage of ( accounts, transactions, regions or records) using technology as a form of well secured and continuous sequence.

Personally I don't feel the origin of these terms should matter much to us. At the moment, we should be more concerned about how we can benefit from this technology and how we can improve it as well. At the end of the day names don't count, bitcoin security matters and your investment portfolio also matters.

The connection of blocks is actually made possible through technology, so I think the word technology is associated with blockchain here. That is why many people consider Bitcoin to be the first successful product of blockchain technology.
However, many other blockchain products that were invented did not succeed, because they did not have the share, security, openness and decentralization, through which bit data (logic 0,1) could be easily changed and due to the lack of openness there was no way to understand it, so they failed.

As odolvlobo already mentioned, "bit" is just an abbreviation for "binary digit."  The word "byte" was coined later, in 1956, by computer scientist Werner Buchholz.
