Primarily for me, this is the most basic knowledge that any newbie who is interested in investing in Bitcoin should try to get first before trying to invest their money because without this knowledge it is even possible that you invest wrongly through a wrong means or a wrong platform. So as someone who is interested in investing in Bitcoin, your first focus of concern should be how to secure your investments to ensure that you do not become a victim of crypto scammers who are looking for newbies in the crypto space like yourself to deceive.

That basic knowledge will work on spot trading if you stick with Bitcoin, and if you understand the fundamentals of support and resistance, or I believe the simple buy low and sell high, you will be able to buy bitcoin at a low price and sell it once the price reaches your target.

There is no need to complicate things; simply understanding buy low and sell high is sufficient.

However, simple things cannot make anything clear if you do not understand the market. For example, if you do not know the Bitcoin history or price history, when do you believe is the best time to buy BTC?
For example, suppose the current price is $110k and the price drops to $90k. If your logic is to buy low and sell high, you will buy at $90k, but the price continues to drop to $60k.
What are you planning to do? Do you sell? I'm sure some newbies will sell it out of panic, but if you have a strategy like DCA, you can buy more at the $60k level and expect a good reward after the block halving.

And people using Hardware wallet doesn't really change whether it's trading or an investment

So we needed someone to discuss it with, but with AI, we can simply ask what BTC is, what I need to learn to be able to invest in it or simply ask why the fuck should I invest in BTC and it won't bite instead, it will give you the best answer available haha.

If you want to invest in bitcoin, then you have to start with the basics, if you are learning the theoretical aspects, you should make sure you put it into practice, and their are some things which you are even going to learn on your own just by practicing, you don’t have to wait for people to teach you something’s, you going to learn them by practicing frequently. If you want to invest, you need to have basic knowledge, then you can go ahead to seek for more knowledge, and you can keep on investing in bitcoin, you cant know everything in a day, so you don’t have to wait till you know everything before you going to invest.

If you want to invest, make sure you know some scam strategies to avoid falling victim.
Make sure you know the appropriate coin which you going to use, which I always recommend bitcoin.
Make sure you know the right exchange to use when buying your bitcoin, make use of a reputable exchange.
Don’t leave your coin on exchange after buying because you are not in control of it, make sure you withdraw your coin from exchange to a non custodial wallet after buying.
Make sure you know the appropriate non custodial wallet to use, and make sure you properly protect your seed phrase, your seed phrase shouldn’t be stored online, it should be completely stored offline, so you should learn about how to protect it.

The most foundational thing to understand before anything else is what BTC actually is and why it has value. Not the technical details, because if we jump into the technical part first, we might get confused easily and could also leave the idea of learning about it. Because when we keep hitting one wall again and again, we usually start to give up. 

We should learn non-technical parts like what decentralization is, how BTC is different from centralized world banking systems. The second part is wallet and custody, like what's the difference between hot and cold wallets, which is best for which purpose, etc. 

Then you need to understand security because if you don't own the keys, you don't own the funds, and giving up your keys means giving your funds to someone and mind that you are responsible for whatever you do, there is no undo button in crypto for anything. Once the money is confirmed on the blockchain, it can't be reversed.

I think secure coins is important for everyone, not only for newbies.

Our coins are only safe if we can secure it as the coin safety does not rely on our time in Bitcoin community. We must learn about Bitcoin, wallets and security to choose a good wallet to use, know how to download, verify, install a wallet software, create a wallet, back up a wallet, test backup for recovery, fund a wallet for testing, and use it carefully and safely later.

Our time in this Bitcoin community is useless if we don't learn about these things and security for securing our bitcoins rightly.

welcome to the forum and i would advise that you take things one step at a time and always be sure that you will catch up and yes, i agree with you that, with the basic knowledge of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general which includes basic knowledge of the wallets, exchanges, basic knowledge of passphrase storage and wallet security then you are good to go.

in as much as having the right knowledge of the bitcoin and it's market can't be underestimated, it is also right to note that, we also need money to stay active in this industry because someone can have so much knowledge of the market but don't have the resources(money) to but and as much miss out from the rides along the journey but some other persons might not even have the same level of knowledge, maybe a lower level of knowledge but if he has the money to invest at the right time like now, such a person would gain real live money and not just knowledge.

money and knowledge will make your journey a very hassle free one and that's just the bitter truth.

AI might be good but it often give wrong information, not sure even AI is still in the learning process I guess. But anyway, yeah it is easier than before and all they need to do is just make up their mind and then prepare for the long term investment. Even if we are in the AI era, I suggest them to go with books that is related to investing in general, that gives better clarity than a short video or AI wall of texts.

It is not enough for us to know how to invest in Bitcoin, these are the things that save us from losses and such foolishness. Investing with Bitcoin should be both knowledge and experience for us, only then can we easily make profits in Bitcoin. Although we can understand Bitcoin from this lesson alone, according to me, this is not entirely true, but it tells us how useful and profitable Bitcoin is and how much sorrow it is for those who have lost it. Although knowledge alone does not make us successful in Bitcoin, when we sit in the market and trade, then we get the real feeling that how we will make profits.
