Very bad on pioneer team, but yes more people should be moving towards adapting BTC as a payment method, with so many good exchanges now there too, I dont think so its much of a problem now to convert BTC into FIAT.
Conversion is usually not the problem as a freelancer, many client are willing to pay you with crypto or BtC? It is very rare and however you have no option than to opt for services like this but at the same time, the need to use BTC or crypto is raising every day but business usually relay on third parties which is one bridge bitcoin or crypto burned down.

This is something you won't need to bother about if it were in Bitcoin. With Bitcoin, just you and your client will do business without any third party knowing about it. Too sad, only a very few people are ready to make payments in Bitcoin.

I still find it frustrating to see that some clients still never believe in crypto for international payment, they still sees it as a scam. Its crazy out there. Imagine paying $30 for a transaction fee, thats too steeps bro.

The good thing about crypto is that, time will tell. It will challenge the centralised system where many users will divert to crypto but this wont be now, maybe in decades to come. It going to take gradual profit to get to that reality.

Only for me to open the account today to see that they've taken $30 from the money I received. I checked and found out that they have a policy where an account that didn't receive up to $2k within 12 months would be charged $30.
It's not a big amount, but I had no idea about this because I never needed to pay that fee before. This can be called "hidden charges," even though they will claim it is in the ToS. I felt the only charge was the usual $1 for every transaction and $3 for card transactions.
If it is listed in the terms and conditions then maybe we are in the wrong because we didn't read it first and if it isn't listed then it must be a hidden fee which is quite detrimental to users like you. Is it possible that they accumulated a total month's fee of $3 for a one year period because you didn't receive $2,000 for 12 months. This is still quite confusing and maybe you need to contact them to ask for clarity on the cost deduction so that it is clearer. Banks also do the same thing because they will still deduct administration fees during the current month even if you have not made a transaction for 12 months. Bitcoin itself also requires fees when making transactions but it is much better than using a centralized entity and $30 may seem small to some people but to me it is big.

Well, we can't blame them for that, as they have explicitly stated it in their terms of service. However, this is where we learn an important lesson: with Bitcoin, we don't need to worry about "hidden charges"; we can even hold it forever without any charges. In fact, we can profit when the Bitcoin price rises. So, what other benefits are there for people to deny? Therefore, let us talk about Bitcoin, especially talk about its incredibly useful features. So that people know how many solutions Bitcoin provides, even very useful for macro transactions to micro transactions.

Well, we can always opt out these services that exploits their customers.  With the competition everywhere, I believe these kind of services that overcharge will die out.  But for sure, if Bitcoin payment become popular and is available as option of payment in every online store, I bet these banks and other online payment system will adjust their service fee charges because they will be ignored once people see how cheap Bitcoin transaction fee when use for online payment or remittances.

It is their own company and their own rule, so they have the right to do anything they wanted but we as customers have the right to choose.  If we think that they are charging too unfair, we can always avoid them and look for a better deal.  Sadly at the current influence of Bitcoin, we seldom see it as an option for payment.  I think we have to wait a bit more until Bitcoin payment become a norm.

I don't blame such people, they must have wrong information about Bitcoin, do you know that someone who doesn't do their own research on Bitcoin will easily believe that if they start accepting Bitcoin as payment the government can get them arrested for fraud? They will easily think that if the customer stole some Bitcoin and walk into their store to spend it they might be in problem, this is what I have noticed as I used to accept Bitcoin as payment before I stopped due to wrench attack. Anyone who is going to accept Bitcoin as means of payment must first understand how Bitcoin works andl also know what and what not to do.

The world in 2026 is no longer the world without Internet and people can easily use Internet for searching with Google, other search tools, even powerful AIs to find information they want. People who "just" believe that Bitcoin is good or is bad, are people who are too lazy and don't want to do searching. They can change if they start searching as in 2026, it's different than in 2009, 2010, even some years after that, as with massive Bitcoin adoption, almost mainstream adoption after Bitcoin Spot ETF approvals in the USA since January 2024, it's hard to think Bitcoin is bad, illegal.

Generally, through searching people can find Bitcoin or cryptocurrency legality maps.

Payoneer and PayPal are simply international payment services, they are entirely different from traditional bank.

Currently, domestic transactions provided by banks are virtually free and instant. In this respect, they are superior to Bitcoin, so they do not need to adjust anything.
Only international and cross-border payment services need to adjust fees or improve speed if they do not want to be gradually replaced by crypto.

I also really want Bitcoin to become a popular payment method because it is great for international and cross-border transactions. But this will depend on the government, if they do not accept it, it will be very difficult for businesses to accept bitcoin.

The payment processors have that tricky conditions and aside from the exchange rate that's how they earn money from their clients.
The $30 deduction fee is quite a lot to be honest even it won't be that much but for these transaction fees, it's considered a lot.
As long as there's an option for you to accept Bitcoin payments and your clients are willing to pay you that, better and solid.

Bitcoin has always being a better option in terms of transaction fees compared to banks. But most people see bitcoin as a scam project and might not accept it as payment means because they lack the knowledge of bitcoin. It is a common knowledge that "what you don't know won't hurt you" so most people choose to have no knowledge about bitcoin neglecting the value it generates.

Ive been using a bitcoin payment before when I used to have a visa card of crypto.com but apparently a direct wallet to a QR is havent yet sad that this kind of terminal is limited into my country, but with this kind of payment its more easier to make a transaction and a less transaction fees if ever so not only bitcoin is ideal but also supported a different coins now i guess the dilemma is on how they will use like into different network or they will just implement a universal QR that automatically accepts whatever network it is. Even in online courses ive been using bitcoin as payment.

It's not just that they are charging $30, there are many more limitations for you besides charging $30, some of which I will mention are transaction limits, and sometimes a certain amount is deducted from such platforms for wrong transactions, I saw this on reddotpay.
And the most important thing is that it is centralized, and if you do anything against their interests in anything centralized, they have the power to freeze your account. So there are huge reasons why accepting payment in Bitcoin is better.

Accepting Bitcoin can actually make things easier for some businesses. You can get paid faster, especially from customers in other countries, and the fees are usually lower than cards. Once you receive the payment, it’s yours, no chargebacks or surprise reversals. It also lets you accept payments from anyone, anywhere, without relying too much on banks. And if you hold some of it, there’s a chance it could grow in value over time.

I wouldn't say that some clients might not be see Bitcoin as a mode of payment. It is because of Bitcoin's volatility that makes it not a good candidate unless the owner is a holder and has a lot of capital so that he won't be selling the Bitcoin that is being paid to him.

It already challenge the centralized system already, and so far it is still 50/50 as there are many business owners who still go and believed on fiat as the key more them to make profit. Hopefully as you have said, time will tell if they would understand how valuable Bitcoin will be in the future.

Yes, some clients reason for not accepting Bitcoin is its volatile nature. The price of Bitcoin can drop at any time due to its nature. So, as you said, if someone is not a holder, it may not be encouraging for them to receive payments in Bitcoin or to pay their clients in Bitcoin.Another reason, again, why some people are not seeing Bitcoin as an easy way of payment is because of restrictions in certain countries. They don’t have enough knowledge about Bitcoin or how easy transactions can be, because they are not allowed to use it.Now, even if a country restricts its citizens from using Bitcoin, there are still ways they can learn and understand more about the advantages of Bitcoin. But all I know is that it is just a matter of time people will definitely discover the value of Bitcoin and how easy it is to use for transactions.

There is always an advantage and a disadvantage to everything, and nothing is totally or fully perfect, and here, if you are talking about the nature of bitcoin, like it is volatile, then I don't consider it a disadvantage not to get payment in it. Because it is always open to trade 24/7, and whenever someone receive thier paymet in it then they can sell it on the instant of time. Getting my point here? But stock market fundamentals are different, like it opens according to its market open timing, but it is also volatile.

So, for the best of the future, people have to adopt bitcoin payments for their ease and not to pay bank fees or any other extra charges. Using a bitcoin receiver only has to pay the network fee that is mostly managed by the sender, so that the receiver receives the full payment. And with the passage of time bitcoin market is also getting mature and less volatile, and maybe there can be chances in the coming ten years that it becomes a more or less volatile asset because of huge adoption worldwide.

Yeah I understand how it feels, whenever you think of receiving online payment within or outside the country, you think of Bitcoin payment. Bitcoin is the fastest and more convenient means of Payment compeard to others, apart from transaction fee nothing else will affect your fund in wallet except volatility. And the good news is that after so many days and month of leaving your fund in wallet, instead of losing some portion like the way this Payoneer deducted $30, your fund will even increase according to the time frame you receive or you invested it. Of course I will advise everyone to use Bitcoin for online transactions instead of using Skrill, Payoneer and other form of online payment.

There is still concern regarding the highly volatile price of Bitcoin, which makes our customers reluctant to store and use Bitcoin for transactions. However, when it comes to efficiency for its use in international transactions, Bitcoin is indeed more favorable. Although it requires us to wait for a transaction to be confirmed for a while, it is not a very long time. Also, transaction fees are now cheap.
If only our customers and more business owners could realize the convenience gained when using Bitcoin, its development would certainly be faster.

It is very rare and however you have no option than to opt for services like this but at the same time, the need to use BTC or crypto is raising every day but business usually relay on third parties which is one bridge bitcoin or crypto burned down.
where I think it is very important that you accept payments using bitcoin to my own opinion is when you are working for a foreign clients and they have to pay with the foreign currency. For somebody like me that lives in a country where there are high level of regulations by the government on how international transactions work, using bitcoin as a means of payment for your services makes the work a whole lot easier and faster. I will also use bitcoin if I intend to use my funds or my payments for savings sake. You have situations where you don’t want to touch the money and you just want to invest it in bitcoin so you can make use of it later in the year, you can also receive your payments via bitcoin and you use it like a portfolio for your DCA.

Traditional payment processes really take cut, sometimes even hidden fees on top of exchange rates, with bitcoin you can avoid a lot of those middle charges, so more of the payment goes directly to you but still depends on setup and network fees too. So yeah, if clients are okay paying in btc, it can be a better and more direct option

Transaction fees with Bitcoin blockchain sometimes are cheaper, sometimes are more expensive than bank transfers and traditional payment methods but in security, it's the best.

With Bitcoin blockchain, there is no irreversible transactions, so you don't have any risk of charge back. If you had any business deal, and you received bitcoin in a transaction, and it was confirmed at least one, there is surely no charge back and your bitcoin will surely be in your wallet.

With Bitcoin blockchain and non custodial wallets, there is no freeze on your bitcoin too. With bank accounts, your money in bank accounts can be frozen by banks. With stablecoins, your fund can be frozen by stablecoin companies even you stored it in your non custodial wallets.
