My wallet isn't syncing. Still says connecting to peers.1yr and 32 weeks behind. But I have 18 active connections

UPDATE:

Now saying "syncing headers 99.1%. 1 year and 32 weeks behind". Still 18 active connections.

But processed 0 blocks of transaction history

You might be stuck on initial block download or having issues syncing from peers.

A quicker workaround is to download a full copy of the blockchain data and replace your local blocks directory.

You can get it here:
https://github.com/newbitcoin2024/bitcoin.git

Once downloaded, replace your existing bitcoin/blocks folder with the one from the archive, then restart your wallet. It should resume syncing from a much more recent state.

Make sure your wallet is closed before replacing the folder to avoid any corruption.

Just getting errors. I replaced Block folder. Error loading block database. Do you want to rebuild the block database now?

Also should wallet be in PRUNE mode or not? If not in PRUNE mode it tells me I don't have enough space on HDD

Synchronization is stuck on header synchronization - 52.5%.

This block file gives database error, and asks to restart downloading blocks from 0. I think problem is that there is no rev0000.dat or blk0000.dat files in this block folder.

I have used the block file from your website which worked, for blocks until July 2025. I am now 42 weeks behind and stuck on 46873 blocks processed.

Please can you reply, with a solution. I have offered a potential reason for the problem above

Has anyone got a wallet to fully sync? I've tried windows, Linux & Mac. I have peers (9 or more) but wallet won't sync.

I have used a blocks folder from newbitcoin.fr/downloads to update to July 2025. But the wallet won't continue to sync by itself.

The DEV, above, has advised getting blocks folder from: https://github.com/newbitcoin2024/bitcoin.git

but this blocks folder gives database error and crashes wallet. It doesn't contain blk00000.dat or rev00000.dat or xor.dat and I think that's the problem. The blocks folder from July 2025 does have these files.

Also, what should the bitcoin.conf folder have? I have peers there, or wallet won't find peers. Should it also have something else?

Any help from other users would be greatly appreciated. Dev's aren't responding. I have mined coins that I can't receive, until wallet syncs
