I think y’all are getting the wrong impression of being wise. You can’t be wise and still be foolish that’s not possible. OP made a big mistake in his choice of words for the topic. Probably should have used the oldies, veterans, or something else not wise.

it still depends on who we refer to as the wise one but based on my own understanding on the definition of who a wise one can be, I don’t think the wise one is supposed to lose in bitcoin investment. Let us remember that bitcoin investment is not as the same as gambling or even trading. When you are gambling, it does not only depend on your wiseness, it also has to do with the luck and chances that follow you when you are gambling which usually is something that happens out of your own individual control despite your smartness. As for bitcoin trading, it also requires much of your wiseness and experience to be able to make a profit of it. People who are wise but lack in-depth experience in trading , will still fail due to lack of experience to make a particular decision being it to withdraw the trading funds etc.

If you want to last long and do well with Bitcoin, the best you can do is to act like you don't know anything about Bitcoin market. Its when you act like you are an expert you think you know better than what's happening in the market and such actions will lead you to sell your Bitcoin when something happen to the market but when you act like you don't understand anything that is going on in the market like you don't anything about it, you will make money.

Good point mate cause someone that's wise have a better knowledge of Bitcoin investment and should know the possible ways of avoiding errors that would make them lose, in my previous statement on this thread i said that "the person either lacks patience or wants quick gains" but I'll focus on greed now, cause it's mostly greed that makes people with a clear understanding of a particular thing to lose in it, greed could make someone that's very smart to look foolish.

Bitcoin investment is tricky one, it goes beyond wisdom or intelligence, it mainly about consistency and sticking to plan to matter what, because of it's volatility when investing your emotions might be all over the place, the best you can do is to stick to your strategy.
