However, this may end up being settled legally, because sources believe Floyd has already received advance payments for this bout, a professional boxing match.

It is considered a breach of contract if he does not agree to the terms, and by receiving advance payments, he agreed to what's on the terms. I don't think any good lawyer can win Mayweather's case; he will have to pay millions for breaching the contract, both to Pacquiao's camp and to Netflix.

This is probably a tune up fight for him before the Manny Pacquiao showdown. Sort of shaking that ring rust. But if we remember, he is supposedly to fight Mike Tyson, but it's obvious that it's not going to happen.

I don’t really see any need for this fight if not for money, i wouldn’t completely agree that it’s all because of entertainment, if it’s because of entertainment we would be completely aware of it, but I think it’s just about the money and the fans would gladly have to make some bet on Floyd I’m not really familiar with the other guy but I’m sure Floyd Mayweather would beat him comfortably.

That story came out even before the MayPac fight was announced, but it never really said he was broke. It only mentioned that he had some financial struggles, and one of the main reasons was his tax liability, so I think that’s the more accurate way to describe his situation now.

As for him selling the gym to Manny, I think that was just part of business. The fight could still get enough hype even without that.

I don't think they need that kind of gimmick. The boxing community has longed for a rematch, but Mayweather has a lot of excuses for that not to happen, and it's unacceptable for Mayweather to be pictured as someone who is broke.

Anyway, there will be a press conference on June 7, and Mayweather has announced he will address issues about his finances.

This feels like Mayweather really is getting out of cash, and he has to fit in 2 fights within 3 months' time. We may see this match against Zambidis as tune up fight in preparation for his match against Manny Paquiao but it looks like Mayweather Jr.  fit this two fight within a short time probably because he really needs money to sustain his lavish lifestyle.

It maybe a strategy to hype the match between Manny and Floyd but the match between Mayweather and Zambidis is not one of them, probably this match (Mayweather vs. Zambidis) materialized because Mayweather really needs money.
