This is indeed a very huge amount of money, and i think if this money can be used to industrialize Nigeria it will be better off, than using it for road construction. You take loan to invest with the loan, and not for things that will not generate money, and reduce the rate of unemployment among youths.
Our leaders have built enough road and we are also tired of these projects that that are of no benefit to the general Nigerians. What will help to develop this country more is industrialization, and am very sure our leaders knows this, but they chase after things that will not help us grow.

Is this not a clear indication that this current administration has know good plans for this country,  a country facing difficult situations and has already lost there dignity all because of poor governance and corruption.  Other good leaders are working towards actualisation of there plans while ours are only interested in how to get money they will share all in the name of one nonsense project that won't generate any profit for the country.
Currently now the total debt of this administration has amounted to #159 trillion, loans that where used for nonsense that has added know value to the country's economy.

I came across this News yesterday and I felt bad for the country, Tinubu is just using us to cash out for his re-election coming up in 2027, barely two weeks ago that he requested to borrow and it was quickly approved by the Senate President God's Akpabio without asking what it will be used for, but what do you expect from a Senate President that has been bought over by the president and has become his puppet that he orders around.

With the way this present government is borrowing money you will know they don't have any good intentions for the Masses all they care about is themselves and what they stand to gain. look at the rate of unemployment and suffering in the country and a leader that was supposed to proffer solutions to our predicaments is busy borrowing money up and down, fuel subsidy was removed and till now we don't know what the president has been using the money for and the abacha looted funds that was recovered, May God help us.

Why wouldn't he borrowed money when we have a rubber stamped senate at the national assembly. The senate president majority of senators and reps have been bought by the president. I vividly remember there was time the senate president stated it publicly that he will approve any requests sent by the president to the senate for approval  , that is to tell us that the senate is under the president command. This is why I said this government is clueless, incompetent and heartless. Why not used local contractors that will charge cheap amounts to construct the road and  while use the remaining money to build schools, hospitals, and industries like you earlier mentioned. As for the loan,it will be approved by the senate because we have the president errand boys in the senate. 2027 is around the corner, Nigerian should vote this administration out because they don't have good intentions for the masses.

Everything we are experiencing from this akpabio and teams administration is what we get when bad leadership body is elected not by there qualifications but because of favouritism and party systems. You really hit the nail on the head, for decades Nigeria government have been borrowing but the issue is that they keep on investing the borrowed money on sectors that won’t yield profits, no wise nation or individual borrows to fund immediate needs, borrowing should be for the purpose of investing so that one can generate adequate interest that can be used to repay back the borrowed sum.

Nigeria leaders really lack the foresight, that is why one president to another nothing changes, every administration keeps on talking about road construction, is development all about good roads? why can’t we industrialize? We should also be asking questions such as what are these administration people doing with the proceeds from the fuel subsidy removal. I thought it is one chunk of money which the government has been able to save to be used for its project especially as they may not need to be borrowing more money again and again. Before now there are ways people pass through to travel to any part of the geopolitical zones so actually the same means should have continue going while this money is use to solve what is key important, even if they have spent those trillions in the road construction if there is no security people would still abandoned using the road because of the risk, nothing will this construction impacts on the country because it wouldn't help, if this money is invested on that would generate employment the masses would have commended on them but however we don't no if this money will be diverted immediately implemented to be shared between them.
