Tesla Cybercab

As far as I understand, the owner of this Tesla will be able to lease it out. This way, it can be used both for personal use and for making money. Sounds fantastic! 🙋

Also, as far as I understand, Elon Musk plans to build a huge number of these cars. This will lead to a significant reduction in the cost of city travel. And this, in turn, will lead to traffic jams on city streets because more people will be able to afford cars.

Elon Musk's next step will likely be to create a new generation of flying cars (we've seen them in sci-fi movies). In short, the future is approaching us! Although, of course, the adoption of such innovations will be very uneven. They will appear in some countries and not in others.

Overall, in my opinion, Tesla cars are more associated with the development of artificial intelligence than with the automotive industry. This Tesla, in my opinion, looks more like a robot than a car!

"Tesla", in my opinion, isn't interested in selling cars to people, the company will likely sell subscriptions to this innovative product. Many other economic models of consumption will emerge. As one of the leaders of globalism said, "People won't own anything, but they'll be happy."

According to what I read about it at the time, it is not going to cost more than $30000. I think it is cheap if it can be used to earn more money.

$30k for a Cybercab is a cheap price tag and if it performs well then it could earn that amount within 1 to 2 years. However, it also depends on the locations where someone uses it, in first world countries one could make such amount within a year or two but such a thing isn't possible in third world countries. Still, it's a good one and those who're after it should probably give it a try.

I'm sure that these cybercab will be motorable mainly in Europe and America, where they will have standard roads for the vehicles, hopefully these driverless taxis will motivate third world countries to be innovative and have modern road networks so that cybercab can operate in their cities instead of embezzling public funds.

This is an amazing innovation in taxis technology, these driverless cars were what we used to see in futuristic movies back then and now before our own eyes it's about to become a reality, I thank Elon musk, and his team for making this dream a reality. Innovations have ceazed to wow me beyond my imaginations, everything that we thought was only possible in movies are now coming to reality like having a zoom meeting and a decentralized digital currency. Maybe one day we will see cyberflying cars, maybe another manufacturer will beat Elon musk, to it.

It is worth knowing that driverless cars are only allowed in few roads in the United States. Different states in United States have different laws for drivers cars.

You called them third world countries, so expect third world things from them. Innovations and better social amenities are better in first and second world.

It is a good idea if you are seeking another source of income, I think, and can afford to own one or two or even more.

It's really sleek and I understand why Ognasty is chomping at the bit to get started. Hell, the design and features will make anyone want to switch from none EVs to these. Especially with the fact that this upgrade comes with an inductive wireless charger.
Despite these advanced creation by Tesla and Elon musk, I bet you there's still those individuals that will prefer the driver option to it but it's good that the price is cheap and with the option of leasing, maybe people can get attracted to it.

Yes, they're mostly going to be useful for Europe, America, United Arab Emirates, and a few other developed countries of the world where roads are built fully. In developing countries there's no use of such cars as they won't be able to work properly in road conditions of the third world developing countries.

I don't think that the developing countries will ever think about such technology because they're filled with corrupt politicians who're known to do many types of corruption and because of such corrupt politicians things will not change in most countries.

Here’s a cool image I came across showing the evolution of the steering wheel in Teslas to no steering wheel. I can’t wait to see how the Cybercabs actually work for customers. I hope I don’t have to wait too long for regulation to allow me to really have fun with one.

Yes driving can done without human engagement, but at least there should be some sort of emergency steering wheel even if it is inbuilt or something.

I'm sure there will be plenty of edge cases when self driving cars need intervention.  Tesla has a team of people who remotely take over and control the robotaxis (not just cybercabs) if the need arises. 

I can tell you from having self driving on my Cybertruck, we are a lot closer than people think we are to a reality where nobody drives manually.  I think my current self driving miles percentage sits at around 99%.  I pretty much only drive it to park in my garage or when I feel like driving crazy fast. 

Almost everyone who takes a ride in my truck is blown away.  Self driving is here.  They just need to figure out that last 1% of the drive and they will.

I updated to FSD 14.3.2 yesterday and it showed noticeable improvement.  FSD definitely drives much better than I do now.

This makes commuting more easier and convenient but this also is a threat to thousands of drivers who have a family to cater to and their only source of income is driving cars. These people might have to find other job openings as drivers might soon be not required at all. Tesla has done some really great developments when it comes to automobiles and even I would like to get a cybercab to tract the economics.

I still have a few doubts which I would get answered before considering purchasing the cybercab. I’m expecting the investment to be around $35,000 give or take ten grand. I agree it isn’t going to be the best investment and there are certainly better options. However, this is a big deal. It’s worth the entry fee for me to be a part of it. I have similar thoughts on the SpaceX IPO as well.

Right, the infrastructure matters a lot of such taxis. Without proper roads and traffic management, these driverless cabs would just be a mess and we might see a hike in road accidents. Specially in my country, we do not have that good roads everywhere so most of us prefer purchasing an off-road bike or car. I am sure the Cybercab would be pretty rare in my country even if they are launched anytime soon. America and Europe already has a few prototypes ready for driverless cab and Tesla would get all those prototypes licenses.

I think within a few years, we would see these driverless cabs more often. They would gradually capture the roads and there would be a time when 100% of the commute would be done by using AI technology.

Not much news on the Cybercab front it seems. Robotaxis continue their slow rollout and I’m a bit disappointed they haven’t come to Arizona yet. Hopefully this is the clam before the storm and we see some movement over the summer. I’m still hoping to have the opportunity to purchase one before the year is over.

Slow and steady it seems as they try to ramp up production. There are over 70 Cybercabs sitting around in the manufacturing lot now. While there have been no major announcements recently, Tesla is hiring people all over the country in preparation for this rollout.

It is being reported that Tesla may officially launch the Cybercab to customers this month! I think this will be one of those moments where the world changes a little bit. Similar to when the Internet or the iPhone was made available for consumers.

It is likely I will purchase one and document the costs/profits but we’ll have to see what the price and financing options are first. With cash paying 6%, if 0% financing is available I may break my no debt rule. Otherwise, I may wait for a great deal as Tesla sometimes offers if sales are low.

Regardless of whether or not it generates passive income, I think the real great feature of these vehicles will be saving time. While the vehicle is driving itself, you can work, relax, watch something, or take care of other tasks during the day. Especially considering the hours spent on daily commutes, this alone is invaluable. I live in a large city like Istanbul, where the traffic is incredibly harsh.

I would say that if the vehicle could be transformed into a system that generates income when idle, but this model might not be possible in every country; governments might not allow it. Even Uber is banned in our country. Only yellow taxis are allowed.
