There is, its the DT system. And the beautiful thing about that system is the "majority" is mathematically determined. More DT1 members include Holydarkness in their trust list than exclude him, thus the majority has spoken.

I know you believe you are being wronged. Its on you to make a broader appeal to DT to either exclude Holy or convince him to remove his trust on you.

The are no rules exept the guide from LoyceV about how to leave trust.

In general my comment back then was more meant as an advice, where I might double up on some Merit, especially for new, helpful topics but I can't act like a Merit source for so many topics in your local board, where I don't understand your language (Pidgin) entirely. Looks like we got a little misunderstanding here.

But I'm sure it's a helpful topic and your local board members will appreciate it and / or future Nigerian local board Merit sources might be happy to have your topic.

@1miau we have always gotten along very well and had great PM conversations. I never had any reason to distrust you and in fact I know some very noble things about you. One detail that caught my attention was the "spelling mistake" of the word "meant" and I know you don't misspell this word usually. Now this does not seem to be a mistake since you repeated it twice, unless your "a"-key is broken, but since you are using it for other words, this coincidence can be safely ruled out.

Great find, I was looking earlier today for the same kind of mistypes but I completely missed that one.

It kind of feels like it is 1miau but it also feels like it is not him at the same time.  It is a weird feeling that I got ever since he came back from the.. dead.  'AI' nerds, this one may be for you.  Is there any way to check if the new 1miau replies and Topics are AI generated text where AI pretends it is 1miau?

Wouldn't it be easier to ask for a signed message from an address he has posted? Gazetabitcoin is also buddies with the guy I believe, maybe he could let us know if it's the real 1miau also? I seen someone mention signed message earlier in this thread and I haven't seen a message, might be time to tag til we get to the bottom of this.

As someone who indexes posts for a living, don't do this. A user with a huge post history can easily clog your network connection while it downloads. Better to expose it as a graphql database, which is much more efficient to get the parts you're actually interested in.

It would be easier for sure.  Someone already asked him, I have to admit I am only a little bit impatient for a reply.  My imaginary theory was that the person who took control of the account to make the announcement of his passing may have found a way to exploit the account post mortem.  If they are under control of his account, they may be under control of his addresses too.  They may be looking through his files trying to find the right address to sign as we speak.

Keep in mind this theory comes from a paranoia filled mind.  It may be nonsense.

For situations like 1miau, I honestly prefer the way o_e_l_e_o did it.  Ask theymos for a ban, end of story, end of speculation.

BTW, since you seem to be locking all your other threads before anyone has a chance to ask, how about a signed message?  You know, to protect the account in front of the person.

I would honestly like to see an odd version of the real 1miau rather than finding out it is someone else in control of his account while he is dead.  Even if he trolls us or what not, I would be way more at peace knowing it was simply a stupid joke and he is still here with us.  After Leo passed, I was way more saddened than I expected reading that 1miau was gone too.  It feels like I am getting too old and this place is getting noticeably emptier.

No, and after making this thread & claiming 2 well-known forum members were part of this "alliance" unbeknownst to them, I'm starting to doubt that this account is still possessed by the original 1miau. They are of course welcome to prove me wrong. I don't think its really too much to ask that they offer some kind of confirmation at this point.

When you just look at the level at which these attacks are being carried out here, to be honest, I’m not surprised by the break @1miau took, nor by his desire to build a protective shield as a precaution.

I’m not sure anymore whether it was such a good idea to join the defensive alliance or whether doing so just makes you a target for attacks. These thoughts alone show that something is wrong here....

You have to understand that accounts get hacked and sold all the time, and people have a right to be suspicious.

Maybe I'm biased for thinking from my own point of view, but if I told the forum I was "dead", never to return... and then I returned... .. I would instinctively offer confirmation that the account was still mine. But that's just me.

Seeing that over 20% of the merit you've earned was from 1miau, I'm not surprised to see you excited at the prospect of his return.

I'm really at loss as to how to respond to this.  I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but look the other red-tag magnets who are frothing at the mouth to join an anti-DT alliance.  They were already targets, and only they would think that joining a centralized gang to protest the collective conclusion of a decentralized majority is remotely a good idea.

But the real question is why is 1miau all of the sudden concerned about red-trust from DT members?  Could it be because his account is now under the control of an account-trader?  These thoughts alone show...
