Same here. OP also needs to put a date in the message for obvious reasons.

I'm aware you are a bit confused and hereby I'm ready to provide a staked message.
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- I'm still the original owner, here is a signed message: -----BEGIN SIGNATURE----- 1miau7e4tFSAGR4TkAJ8n32UMm2yLB9EH HCGwHdEc+8A8DsuIZRKxTPHcfajDZY2ldaEY2/W37lblIQUoU9nCSlkXl+O40FU6f46MX6DaoEZRDJBqTO3nW7U= -----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
No need for speculation, you can remove your negative trust now.
Number 1 dead giveaway: this is not how a long-time old member would sign a BTC message. 2. This specific address was not staked anywhere in the official thread 3. The provided signature did not match the message for the address. I tried to verify it myself. It's a big relief for me to see you staking an address and verifying you are still the original owner. Tbh I never distrusted in 1miau you are a big asset for Bitcointalk.
Do not just trust. Always verify. That's how you get scammed.

2. This specific address was not staked anywhere in the official thread It doesn't matter where it's posted. From my personal records, I've scraped this address on July 6, 2020. The post itself may or may not have been edited before that date. That's old enough.

After getting some sort of burnout, I've decided to withdraw permanently from Bitcointalk but now it felt better, so I've decided to come back. But now we are at it again, I've already spent more time online right now than I should be. I might withdraw again if it continue at this pace.

Your appearance was telling and welcomed, at least by some. Those who jumped the gun and decided to throw accusations at you upon your arrival are actively being placed on my distrust list—as they should be by others—despite their “good” intentions. Funny, most who inappropriately jumped the gun, threw accusations, and gave you negative trusts are already on my distrust list. This isn’t the first time, nor will it be the last, that they’ve organized around an “issue” they were completely wrong about. This is exactly why I joined your alliance: evidence must prevail over accusations, not the unjustified opinions of a mob. I believe a public apology is in order. … Any day now.—I swear. (It’s not gonna happen) Unfortunately, this is the main reason this place is going straight to hell. (No Passing Go, No Collecting of $200.)

However, I think things would have been much different if the other comeback announcement you had made had contained such a Bitcoin-signed message. Welcome back.

Anyone can decide to leave the forum temporarily or permanently and can even declare their account dead even though the person behind it might be alive but it is satisfactory for an account that is as reputable as yours to still convince members of the forum that the account is still in your possession hence the reason why some forum members asked that you sign a message. Do not take it personal, despite that some persons gave you the benefit of doubt but the message you signed is a kind of reaffirming their trust in you.

Hey ... what's all this TimeLord-style drama going on here? A signed Bitcoin message is enough to dispel all doubts. The fact that 1miau added me and Gazeta to the list of founders of the "Bitcointalk Defensive Alliance" without our knowledge is also understandable, since we've been friends for a long time (which makes sense). But that doesn't mean you should turn 1miau's feedback page into a notebook like TimeLord does. Just leave him alone, and if you have nothing better to do, take part in deciphering the riddle dedicated to Lauda (which, by the way, contains a 0.0222 BTC prize).

[...] Just leave him alone Buddy needs a cigarette lmao. I might withdraw again if it continue at this pace.
It's funny how the whole chaos gets to die down flat after the signed message was presented. I personally said something was off about miau's return. Does this convince me otherwise? Formally, yes. I know a lot that still have serious doubts even with the signed message, but miau miau, a cat with 9 lives, beyond my unfettered mind, may have just wanted to make the famous myth come true by using those precise words: Unfortunately, I have to announce 1miau is dead.It already died few days ago but don't be sorry But the italicized part changes the whole concept, IMO. [who knows? Excuse me, I'm just trying to think]

New attempt should only work on Electrum since Electrum has a different way of displaying things:
Multiple attempts to sign a message? Electrum only? Things that make you go "hmmm..." I do recall a time when he knew the difference. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5172487.msg52068704#msg52068704https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5172487.msg52084484#msg52084484
I think things would have been much different if the other comeback announcement you had made had contained such a Bitcoin-signed message.
That's the first thing I would have done, but I probably would have thrown in a PGP key or two as well because, well, why not.
Signed message or not, my feedback will remain until I'm utterly satisfied. No amount of social pressure from Axis or Allied forces will sway me. Note I said nothing about a signed message in my feedback, only time will tell.

it must be a one-way decision to "die" and start over if you discover that decision was wrong. @1miau lock that account and start again. It will be easy for you to rank-up and honor @1miau’s history by leaving his account in the old state.

I lost interest after this whole thing divulged into several different threads. However... Am I the only one wondering why this particular cat hasn't made any sort of, "Guten Tag, allerseits. Ich bin zurück!", in the local board he was most known for posting in? Edit: No, you're not. Which is probably why anyone with a shred of investigative abilities hasn't mentioned it yet. My brain feels enormously small at the moment.

No, you're not. But as I've said before, time will tell and how much time passes before he attempts to, the quality of the post, and whether AI is used will tell volumes. Which is probably why anyone with a shred of investigative abilities hasn't mentioned it yet.

I don't mean to be inquisiuve, but was the nature of your withdrawal for real life reasons? When I withdrew around 4 years ago, it was because my dad seized all the electronics. Trying to stop me from holding bitcoin or some shit. A huge nocoiner (still is, sadly). I got a hold of an ancient red hat machine and was posting on here using lynx. I somehow managed to make Bitcointalk work with lynx browser. Yeah, dark times. I must have lost thousands of dollars at the time from unrealized Chipmixer payouts. Still lives rent-free in my head So anyway, what's your backstory? I would like to know.

To be honest I was a bit... not relieved, but encouraged to see that the DTs had removed their negative trust from 1miau after they presented the valid signed message. It demonstrates a willingness to be reasonable when presented with new evidence, and shows how easily the problem of "unjust" red trust can be solved when warranted. I really don't know what's going on anymore but this has been a pretty entertaining read. Oh, and I should say thank you 1miau for signing the message.
