I haven't seen or heard of any instance where having the Bitcoin logo in-house or on cars has put someone in big trouble to the point where they lost their Bitcoin through that means.

What I normally hear about is how someone broadcasts to people around them that they have Bitcoin through their mouth or social media post, and they get attacked because of that.

Another thing is that anyone can think of liking the Bitcoin logo for no other reason than to decorate their house as EluguHcman made us understand that his neighbor uses the Bitcoin logo as a POP of his sitting room. Someone else can do the same thing, just that they love the design of the Bitcoin logo

There are many cases where people who have publicly declared a huge Bitocin portfolio got attacked because of this act. It's not only limited to bitcoin but if you have huge fiat currency then don't declare it because this act will only bring trouble for you. It make sense that only displaying bitcoin logo in your house or in your car won't bring any problem for you. We can do that without any fear unless Bitcoin isegal in our country and government is not looking for Bitcoin enthusiastic  Smiley

They never publish the assets they own, it shouldn't be a problem. But you are right, if that way is combined with a show-off lifestyle on social media, it will definitely attract people's attention. What is feared is that what comes is actually something bad.

I am sure those who have large amounts of Bitcoin will actually stay silent and not publish anything. Maybe only a few close people know that they have Bitcoin.

So my concerns is this, is it really good to showcase our financial involvement publicly? Because toe it feel like an indirect form of exposing your financial  status which is meant to be secret, i think when it comes to the one's personal security and safety caution should comes  first.
You are right, the risk is there if you're going to be showy how much you're holding with your Bitcoin assets. While if it's about those people who puts Bitcoin logos, stickers, apparels, and other stuff that can distinguish their love for Bitcoin. I think that's just fine because that doesn't expose how much you own but gives the bad people an idea that they know Bitcoin. And when people know bitcoin, it's possible that they're also holding it. The bad guys would think any of those with those stuff that shows BTC logo might lead them to think that they're holding a lot. I believe it's still best to be a lowkey person, never bragging of what you have and how much you own but when you're asked, you've got the knowledge to answer their questions related to finances and cryptocurrencies.

We all know that Bitcoin is mostly stored and secured by the individual, when you start flaunting it like having the logo in ur car or maybe clothings, the people around you comes to the conclusion that you have lots of it which will in turn attract risk and physical threats like being forced to move your Coins to another wallet. It’s not like the normal bank where your account is protected from physical fraud by the bank.

When it comes to crypto it is always recommended to stay humble while the digits keep counting because once you let the universe know you’re a bitcoin holder, the message you’ve passed can’t be retrieved anymore. Financial status to an extent are to be kept private and the crypto world are not in exemption. It’s a safety measure that will protect you from scammers, hackers and even other factors that could possibly invade in your financial life.

The world today is soo dominated with technology that if you take your Bitcoin status to the media your information there can be used to get your identity and where you’re located. So it’s more safer to keep your digital assets different from your physical life. As  Bitcoin doesn’t need adverts to remain in existence.

Funny how most of these people who are doing all this might just be putting a fake target on their back without them even owning much bitcoin or knowing more about bitcoin. They just read little about it, or they just interact with it a few times and start to add BTC to their nickname, their social media etc.

But here it's now becoming a very common thing and youth don't even know what privacy is all about they all focus on show off and how their fellow sees them forgetting the fact that they are also attracting criminals to them self and also those who could be envious of them.

Because of all these some individuals may not truly hold huge Bitcoin, but thier lifestyles display creates the an attentions of your enemies, and that will leads to serious security risks. So my concerns is this, is it really good to showcase our financial involvement publicly? Because toe it feel like an indirect form of exposing your financial  status which is meant to be secret, i think when it comes to the one's personal security and safety caution should comes  first.
Those who are truly rich do not need to pretend. They usually just live with their money, buy what they want, and their lifestyle naturally reflects it. Their houses are better, their cars are luxurious, and you often see them busy running businesses if they are genuinely wealthy. But those who are pretending and are not actually rich tend to focus on making others believe they are.

When you talk to them, the conversation is almost always about money—how they made this, how they did that, how they bought this car, that house, or that lifestyle. They rarely talk about anything else. I try to stay away from such people because they often have an agenda. In many cases, they are trying to influence or mislead you for their own benefit.

Real wealthy people usually do not need to show off in public; their lifestyle speaks for itself. But those who try to impress others with stories about wealth are often the ones you need to be more cautious about, because their intention may be to gain something at your expense.

People who do that do not truly understand what Bitcoin is; some of them may not even have any form of Bitcoin investment. They are scammers displaying Bitcoin in such a way as to attract newbies to invest in Bitcoin through them, and they scam them through that medium. They make people believe that they can get rich with Bitcoin overnight. People should be careful of those kinds of individuals because not everything they see on social media is real.

For those who are genuinely investing in Bitcoin or trading crypto yet choose to expose their identity carelessly, they stand to gain nothing from it; instead, they are putting themselves at risk. Those are childish behaviors displayed by amateurs.

Safety should be considered always because our life has no duplicate any thing that has tendency of risking our lives should be avoided at all cost
The problem isn't just endangering ourselves, but also those around us (especially our families). It is possible that a family member could be taken hostage by publicly displaying Bitcoin assets, and it doubling the risks. Therefore, don't even try to flaunt your Bitcoin; the risks far outweigh the benefits. The personal satisfaction of flaunting wealth isn't worth it, as the lives (including those of those closest to you) are at stake.

Well its because of the ego that boost their confidence that many people seen them that they are engage with the cryptocurrency and some of the people arent aware about this, also just to become flex to other people such as recognize as part of the crypto community, you can see this related into influencers because they need to create their own community on different purpose, could be for their good circle of sharing information or just wanted to get tons of people invited to a project and because of the referral no one knows so better make sure you really know you are following in social media. But if you are kind of person who dont want to risk your life, better to stay low-key because others get envy what you have and could risk with your life.

Not without a reason to give an identity, but there are greater benefits that will be obtained, especially if on Account X, the more interactions, the more money will be obtained.
The number of people becoming 'big influencers' on social media compared to the number of people trying to reach the same status is like a fish in the ocean.  It is definitely possible to pull some money out of showing off wealth but the advantages, which for most of these big influencers showing off are at first mainly the attention they get to only later become a monetary benefit too, do not outweigh the risks they put themselves at.

A lot of the publicly wealthy people I saw have been robbed or victims of an attempted robbery at least once.  The risk is there, some know and do not care, others do not expect to be the next victim sooner or later.  Nowadays you publish a picture of you on the porch and dubious people find the exact coordinate of your house in minutes.  It is bad and not worth it, even if you end up getting some money out of it.

I think many crypto bloggers don't post videos with photos of their homes, which could reveal their real address. They usually rent expensive apartments and cars for this purpose.
But they also try to live in very safe places where the risk of robbery is minimal. I think that robbing a public figure will be a big risk for the robber, because he will influence the police through his media resources.

-snip-
A lot of the publicly wealthy people I saw have been robbed or victims of an attempted robbery at least once.  The risk is there, some know and do not care, others do not expect to be the next victim sooner or later.  Nowadays you publish a picture of you on the porch and dubious people find the exact coordinate of your house in minutes.  It is bad and not worth it, even if you end up getting some money out of it.
It does not look comparable if we look at the risks that occur, but many big influencers do it without fear, but maybe they already have a personal bodyguard so that wherever they go they will always be supervised.
There are also many news stories that people who look rich on social media are targeted by robbers when visiting or vacationing in an area, this makes these people targets for robberies.
It does look terrible and how important it is to maintain privacy, but since they have been exposed as much as possible by arranging all meetings and vacations safely, they should stay safe.

So my concerns is this, is it really good to showcase our financial involvement publicly? Because toe it feel like an indirect form of exposing your financial  status which is meant to be secret, i think when it comes to the one's personal security and safety caution should comes  first.
It is not good, especially bitcoin investment, because many people who understand bitcoin feel that whoever is investing in bitcoin is rich. When they get to know anyone who has bitcoin, they think of how to take advantage of getting money from such people. Most of the cases of robbery and scams that people experience happen due to their inability to keep their investments private.

As they always say, privacy is key because you lock away information about yourself that other people are not supposed to know. When people know what you have as an investment, they come after you. That is why it is important to be private, because making it public does not even make the investment increase in value.

You are not helping yourself if you go out in the world today and start displaying Bitcoin logo or signs, they will come for you, the bad guys who happen to know that Bitcoin is now the new gold.

We are not in that days where creating awareness for Bitcoin is helping Bitcoin itself, today almost the world knows about Bitcoin, it's time to put an end to that for good or risk getting stabbed or killed.

Silence is the best answer to escaping attacks at home, avoiding centralised exchanges is also a good one, because how data are leaking outside is unknown.

It is probably a higher probability to have their home targeted while they are in a vacation, but I would say looking like you do not have much to steal is smarter than showing Wealth no matter how much you earn.

Now that I think about it.  Have you considered that maybe 'influencers' are not as targeted as less famous people that are just as Wealthy because being famous often implies having a body guard and good security?  Maybe being famous in this case makes you less of a target than showing off with no fame.

Yes they are less targeted because of the bodyguard, mostly people who where attack are people who post a lot flexing a lot in social media, even even brag about what they had, this people are easy target, who knows they are being planned.
We have a story of an influencer but got no body guard, he was attack at home, good thing he did not died, and they just stole things, not his holdings, maybe because they panic, a few stab, taken by the victim , but after that incident, he is not posting anything about wealth anymore.

People display bitcoin publicly and normally that's not supposed to be a big deal. As a matter of fact, some even wear shirts that has bitcoin logo on it and no one  really takes them seriously. It becomes an issue when you start to give an impression that directly suggest that you're holding so much bitcoin. When you're leaving a flashy lifestyle that shows you're earning too much and in the slightest way people discover you're earning in bitcoin, it then becomes an issue.

We still have a lot of people that are pro bitcoin and that are open about it. They've not been kidnapped or attacked because of the way they carry themselves. It's the way you present yourself that tells if you're going to fall victim of attack or not.

It is highly risky to display our assets publicly. No one knows the minds of men and coming out publicly to flaunt wealths is equivalent to risking ourselves out there. People might read the act in a different direction. Most person might see it as oppression others as being boastful or proud.

They just want to brag and that is what they are know for and they need to be more careful because they will only put there self in people's eye and a prey in the eyes of the predator and there is no need for public recognition when it comes to all this things the world is not a place that it use to be so by now let's, and that is what you will not see some people do because they already understand there duty to keep there self and there assets safe that is the only way, but a lot of small crypto holders are just to reckless and at this point they need to do better for there own safety.

Quote
Safety should be considered always because our life has no duplicate any thing that has tendency of risking our lives should be avoided at all cost

They have forgotten that at this point people can literally do anything just for them to get money so we all just have to be careful out there pur safety is not suppose to be joked with and we have to be the one to decide exactly how we want things to be done. It is just too risky people are after people they know have assets so that they can still from them without a trace so safety should be out priority a word ia actually enough for the wise.
