Strong internet connection and place without any distractions with good ventilation or air conditioning is a must for me in able to gamble properly.

I don’t care about food and other shenanigans setup as long as I can focus smoothly on my game without any physical interference because this often kills my mood on gambling.

Sometimes having food/drink on gambling makes me distracted on my game because I play card games most of the time.

The number one and the two is okay for me. When you are playing games, let there be a soft drink at the corner of the chair, and win you win, you sip the drink to motivate your spirit and when you lose, you drink to cold down the temperature  . Then I will apply the number which I will need a silence place to play gamble so I will be focused.

The last time I enjoy gambling the most was when two of my friends came to visit me just few days ago and we gambled together which was very fun.

There is nothing better than desktop, but I am wondering why you people are not mentioning tablets.

There is not problem if anyone at home disturb me. I prefer the talking from the casino than musics.

I do not care if it is in a light or dark room.

I do not care to snack but I prefer not to eat. I do not care if drinks but if I have one with me, it is good.

Desktop is the best choice for me. I do a lot of multitasking while playing, like working, watching movies, or watching a gambling streamer at the same time. A big screen makes all of that much easier and more comfortable. A stable connection with zero lag is also a must and having my own room means no distractions, so I can stay focused the whole time.

A PC, some music, plus a game (PC game, not a gambling game). I usually play PC games, an RPG game, or some shooter games, then on the other monitor, I run a slot game at any of my favorite crypto-casinos. It's maximized to occupy the whole 2nd monitor.  
Since it's a slot game, I normally don't bother focusing on it. I only shift my attention to it when some good multipliers come up or, of course, when free spins happen.  
I loathe playing slots on mobile/smartphones, it is tiny and, I can't multitask.

I like my room and computer desk to be clean, so I don't take any food and drinks to it. I also prefer a quiet environment like the OP because I mostly bet on sports and want to have my peace as I carry out my pre-match research into the game and team setups. Alcohol makes you less cautious and unfocused, and I don't want it around me if I am betting. There is a reason they give it to players in physical casinos for free, and it's not to help them win more.

It's nice to read other player's must have. Actually I do have on my own, but it depends on the time of the day. If it's in the morning usually I don't start without a coffee since if I don't have a coffee it actually affects my decision making since I have a foggy mind in the morning and if it's the afternoon, I usually have my snack probably some nuts and some low volume background music, while . Honestly I'm not aware of these habits of mine when playing gambling and I just realized it just now lol.

That's an interesting question. The first thing I need is a good amount of balance to carry out my gambling session without any breaks. Obviously everyone wants that.
Second thing is some nice music and finally nobody at home to avoid any kind of distraction and have the freedom to gamble as long as I want.
I mostly gamble on desktop because it's fun to play on a larger display. May be a few drinks but that's optional.

I'm not sure I require too much to gamble aside from peace of mind. There are certain periods when I usually don't force myself to gamble, that includes when I'm stressed or I have some important things I have to solve. At these times I won't be able to focus and concentrate with my games which of course would lead to loses.i prefer gambling on my mobile phone since I can simply take it anywhere I want and access my casino accounts. But I still choose not to gamble too much when I'm out side the house..

The first thing is, this thread belongs to the gambling discussion board instead of the main Gambling board.

As for the requirements, none of them are too important for me. It must be a crypto casino, and my internet speed must be stable when I play. I do not play at fiat casinos. I do not eat or drink when I gamble. I also do not like it when someone disturbs me while I am playing skill-based games. However, if I play slots, then I do not care much if I am alone or with someone. I can just endlessly wait for a good winning moment. I rarely win from the slot games.

Whenever I play Mines or Blackjack, I don't like it when people disturb me.

I usually try to maintain a certain rule and environment while playing games, so that I can enjoy the maximum pleasure. I especially pay attention to this when gambling. I feel more comfortable playing games on mobile devices than on desktops, so I gamble most of the time on mobile. Besides, I am not at all interested in certain activities while gambling.

Am certain this post may not last long because the answers my be more than expected. However, I always have fun with these questions.

As for my set up, unless am being given a ticket or code to play by others, I would love to sit in a quiet and ambient place with music or ears stuffed with earpods to enjoy the soothing sound of music.
While I do abit of analysis, I prefer a drink maybe soda or energy drinks or just water, to wet my throat and concentrate on the task and time duration I have to make my bets.
A mobile device serves me well, as it enables betting or gambling at more inconvenient areas where a laptop light might just be dangerous with consequences.

Having a quiet environment is not guaranteed if it's with the brick and mortar casinos. But it can be done with online casinos as we stay in out home.

And about drinks and other snacks, we can have our own and set the ambiance with what we like. That's the kind of setup that I like as well.

Mobile when on the go but mostly with desktop. Although I rarely gamble with mobile when I'm outside.

For me, it’s a clean desk with good internet, plus some snacks and some relaxing music to help me unwind, since the games I play are usually slots, and I don’t want to get so fixated on the screen while playing that I go crazy trying to hit the jackpot. So I just try to make my gaming sessions more relaxed and not take them too seriously. Another thing is that I don’t like noisy places, so I mostly just play in my room, which is pretty quiet.

The most important setup for someone using an online casino should be having device that is fully charged and that will cause no disruption while the game is on, after that, Internet connection can be checked. Alot of gamblers have faced issues with either faulty devices and/or poor Internet connections which is not caused by the casino, but by the gamblers who failed to check these things. Music is distracting, I will likely sing along and start to lose control, I don't like listening to music when I gamble, also eating isn't something I do when I gamble because I always make sure that I have something in my stomach before I start to gamble.

Energy drinks, food, is something I will only take if I am playing game on ps5, that's going to take few hours so it's possible that I will feel tasty or hungry, but not while gambling because my gambling session is always short.

I prefer to bet on my air-conditioned room with my comfy chair and desktop on me, purely silent without music around cause it'll distract me, and just a small can of beer because I find comfort sipping it every time my emotions get triggered.

And of course, there should be a strong internet connection, otherwise betting on a slow connection is like suicidal, it will make your nerves get to your bones but can't still do nothing.

Depends on my mood.

Sometimes alone, sometimes with friends. Sometimes I like things more private and cozy and other times loud and social.

Snacks are a must but sometimes I do like a nice, cold and crisp beer to quench my thirst while I lose my money 

Although I can say that I hate distractions when I am on a roll. But that rings true for every case.
