I say a disgrace. Croatia has 23 active members in local forum writing less than 250 posts last month. Nigeria has almost 400 active members and over 4000 posts last month. Yet in competition like this we have 9 people from Croatian board and you guys can't collect 3? No wonder Nigeria is bad at world cups, where is the drive to defend your country honor at least on something like this forum

We'll surely have 16 teams - no worries about that at all. People are usually slow with these things so we expect it to pick up in a few weeks.

The World Cup talk will start when the national leagues finish - and we'll start talking about the competition more as well.

Then again, I always say, if you're active in gambling sub, and wear a gambling-related signature, and you're not participating in a gamble, then you're not helping build the forum up in a way that makes your signature sustainable. Least, that's the way I try to sell it to people from my place to get them to be more active (and contributing).

Participating in this type of contest requires some level of cooperation, and I guess many people here simply aren't used to that. Add to that the requirement that team members must be from the same region, along with the fact that there is still almost a month before the WC starts, and you get the situation we have now (which is not that bad btw).

What will the competition be without the most populated African country, definitely we will be heading to this competition.

I will be participating with Igebotz team I will complete all necessary registrations with him. So sit back and watch us play and win.

More so I think other players will definitely join when club football actually ends. Probably other competitions is taking other players attention

Yeah, when we come close to the deadline if we have missing teams we will draft people that expressed their interest but weren't able to field a team. We aren't actually making people pass KYC to play this so it would be stupid not to allow mixed teams if we have the space left.

I explained it too, actually in the past when trying to recruit people into pools haha. The CL pool, for example, even at 50 people, and ten prize spots (the lowest paying 7% of pot), with a freebet each round almost returns your fee if you do well in just 1 round (17 rounds to do it!). Win a prize and you're paying for many seasons after, like you say. But the Gross EV of that with 50 players is 200%! It's roughly the same high +EV for all the pools, adjusted higher or lower for participation requirement, if you blindly enter picks.

That's the pure math. Bring into the equation that you have valid discussions, that help fill your quotas naturally, whilst contributing properly to a vibrant subforum of gambling... and it's win-win-win.

Was always going to be a bit difficult for the first time around, and just for me finding out my teammates were closer in origin than I'd ever have guessed, I think there's also an element of trust -- but this is what this forum is about too, this very fragile, vague, ethereal thing of trust. Very pleased with my teammates, we're already discussing what to spend the 57mbtc we'll win on. Gardening tools maybe.
