I think that this new format is something people on this forum are not used to. I haven't participated in many competition in the Gambling section, but I think that in all competition people participated individually. I guess it's not easy to put together a team of three players when people here like their anonymity. That said, I think this is a perfect way to advertise this kind of competition for people to see how it's going during the World cup. Then when you introduce the new UCL competition (I think you or cryptofrka said that you are preparing something different), people will know what to expect. Just like BSFL competition had only three divisions when it started, and now there are four divisions.

I enjoy anonymity also but I also believe in forum trust. You guys are the only ones who know where I'm from, and specifically a few of you OG users know my entire story and why I have to be anonymous, including good old Steve from Sportsbet because I had to decline a promo special trip with great sadness Not because I didn't want but because I literally couldn't.

If not for our closeness and history on this forum to enable the trust, I would never dare.

Still I hope we are enough to try it and show those who are hesitating that the trust within our group is enough

Anonymity is really important, that's why we made it broad - you can say you're from a certain continent.
If paranoid, you can also lie of course - although the intent is to create some banter and potential friendships, at least virtual.

That's basically how Cro2 started - and we already created some connectivity through BSFL. This is an attempt to build on it.

40+ players isn't a bad result considering the buy-in but yes - it would be the best if we filled all the spots.

dittoup will play as well, the biggest issue now is with Slissy. Really not sure what's happening there, we hope he's just taking a small break.

Both of you should be already in this man! You can't love and participate in BFSL and not like something like this for fun especially now that we're off season. Cheap sign up fee, more entertainment and more payouts.

We have just four days left, I think we can actually give two to three more days as opening window but while waiting i saw three names actually not without a team component why not merge them together as a team so they will have time to discus and then make preparations before the day of the kick off.

I was actually thinking that the selection problem you guys would be having would be that of too many applicants and not short of the required numbers but let’s see how it goes, I still think the slots will be filled

I hope this won't be the last team to register for this competition and that we will have some more entries.
I can't wait for the official start of the competition tomorrow and I expect a lot of excitement as the world championship progresses.

Sadly Nigeria isn't participating in this one with so many weak teams participating- could have been our year to finally win the WC to complete football on the national level.

Brazil had a solid chance of winning until Ancelotti started playing politics with the call-up. Argentina isn't convincing enough, has too many older players, and the French team lacks discipline; this could be Spain's year. What are the outright odds, people?

For this Brazil against Ancelotti I Dey feel you politics them, don spoil their chance. For full 7 games, Argentina don too old for am them France no get discipline and if Rodri Dey fit Spain will look best bet

Everything should be well explained in the OP.
There will be 3 rounds that will cover 3 Group stage rounds of the World Cup.
After that, based on your standings in the Group, you'll either play the early knockout rounds or earn a free pass to the following ones.

Questions are a part of the competition, it's one of 3 mini-games. The other 2 are goalscorers and betting contest, so it's up to you as a team to decide which player plays which part.

Judging by the way they played the last two friendly games, there's no surprise that bookies are underestimating us. I just hope that it will look much better when the World cup starts.

Btw, I read somewhere that after the World cup and Nations league, England will be the nation with which we played most football games.

Well, x5 is fair - Spain is getting this one..

If your Croatia survives the group stage their path to success is Senegal/Colombia in R32,  Mexico/Spain in R16 and possibly France/Brazil in Quarters. Now tell yourself the truth, the current Croatia team isn't good enough. R6 maybe.

I cant believe how they are putting England ahead of Argentina for example to win this world cup im not saying Argentina is the top favorite because im not sure about that, but come on, i feel like the champion until now is gonna come from Spain, France and Argentina, i dont see any other team with real chances aside of that 3.
