I thought I was the only one who actually thought that the worse team in the tournament shouldn’t be taken away from Tunisia. Seriously from their past performances in continental and world tournaments i wasn’t surprised this is how it came down too, they have always been good during qualifies but shitty in the tournament, not that they didn’t have European football experience in the squad but they were just Tunisians. I actually don’t blame them because the management decision to bring in a new manager a month to the World Cup was bad and then the decision to get a new one just after one game in the tournament was disastrous.

Tonight we have Kylian Mbappe against Norway, hopefully my man keeps it up by scoring two or more goals so we open at least three goals up advantage. If there is anything I am not going to do is counting on Uruguay to keep Oyarzabal quiet.

I'm not sure about the other 3 teams if I expect a final first win for ''Team Croatia'' in this round.
We are a little weaker in the betting, but we currently lead 2:1 in the scorers and I expect that at most 3 teams at the world championship will have maximum impact, which would mean our victory in this round.
This will obviously be a very uncertain group and everyone has a chance to be first or last in the group, depending on the results.

Unfortunately, that single goal will not be enough for my team, especially since, as you already mentioned, Vinícius Júnior managed to score twice, while Barrabé only scored once yesterday. Now my team has to rely on Mbappé not scoring any more goals and on Spain’s top striker having an outstanding performance.

Of course, there is always hope, but realistically speaking, it is going to be very, very difficult to turn things around under these circumstances.

It will be FIFA-style, so we'll hold a raffle. Literally no other way, sometimes it's fair play (number of cards), sometimes it's team overall rankings which is not applicable.
We'd hate to see it so if there's another tiebreaker we can use, let us know. Everybody goes through anyway, so raffle is the fairest solution.

There will be penalties in the knockouts, of course.

It will be a random draw, only in the QF stage a proper draw will be made that will define your path until the end of the tournament.

Yep, you get the point from that mini-event. You can still draw/lose the match though.

Come on Paraguay what you did?, why you didnt push for the win, you need the win to become the second in the group and it gives you a very nice place in the next stage for the round of 32, i cant blame Australia since for them the draw was enought to keep the second position.

Now Paraguay is gonna pass as one of the best in third place and have to playa gainst one of the teams who ended in first position, bad move by the Paraguay team.

I think so too. There is a good chance that all 4 teams in our group will end up with the same number of points, so your 3 criteria may not be enough. Have you considered head-to-head matches as an additional criterion? In any case, these will be close matches until the end and the winner of our group will probably not be known until the very end of the third round.
I hope Mbappe will be inspired tonight against Norway, and for our team, that could be enough to win.

That would be what Im hoping for. Cape Verde got lucky on the first 2 games, there is no way that they are pulling a 3rd one here. Saudi pouring all those money to sign players to their league, only to lose the 3rd placement against Cape verde would be amusing but yeah we are in worse situation because the game cant end with a draw

They really are not very good, they truly are, but their fighting spirit... I don't know if you've watched any of their matches. They work incredibly hard, they've had a bit of luck, and that's simply how they've managed it. I actually thought Curacao was the better team. Canada, on the other hand, has shown that they're a serious side. They're well organized, play as a unit, and they're very quick

Still 15+ minutes to go for Mbappe to atleast score 1 goal to close the gap for us after Sarr scored. Hattrick for Dembele, we got the unexpected guy this time. I wish it was Mbappe, it would put us upfront on goalscorer. On the good side, Mbappe is still on the field so this could be happening.

Damn, crazy what Ecuador did yesterday. Yeah, this game wasn't important for Germany as they already had secured 1st place, but they played with their main squad. And after final whistle we saw so many emotions from Ecuador that it looked like they just wo whole World Cup.
France - Norway had to be great game, but Norway decided not to fight for 1st place and released thei second squad. Outcome - big France win. Too bad that Norway missed penalty and didn't made result 2:3 - that would had made 2nd half much more interesting.
