EDIT: One more thing @Trofo or @cryptofrka. The second question of the questionnaire says "Germany, France and Spain all to qualify to R32 in regular time?". Isn't that wrong formulation? All of these teams have qualified for the R32 and are now playing to qualify for the R16.

This means that, for the purposes of this competition, the round starts with the Brazil - Japan game and not the SA- Canada game that is tonight, in order to give you more time to prepare your answers.

This means the bet slip should not contain any outcome from the game SA - Canada, right?

We didn't cover that one in the rules, so let's say you are safer to ignore it. If someone already submitted with that game on the ticket we would have allowed it. Then it is only fair to say it like this. If your ticket has Canada game it has to be submitted at least 2 hours before Canada game starts - those will be accepted. If you want to be sure just skip on that game and use normal deadline advertised in the post where I tagged all of you. If someone submits Canada after 5PM forum time today, those tickets will be auto loss.

Whoa, congrats to Little Italy finishing second on the table. And to the South American team, those guys are incredible and I give you your flowers for finishing the group stage winning all matches and securing all points. Finishing third on the table was not what we anticipated looking back how we started our campaign with a good win. We try again as it is not yet over until we get to know in the coming games of the R32.

You play penalties. Penalties have a 99.5% chance of successfully determining the winner - the only case where it's a draw is if you put the same minute in the last penalty question.
We will check this once the round goes live and only in that case send another question to the captains.

It's theoretically possible, we thought of it - but we didn't deem it a serious threat. We'll manage it properly if it happens.

Just accept defeat and don’t boast around  I think this competition is just a great replica of the actually world tournament. Look at big teams coming to competition with big hopes and then getting some upset. Seriously little  Italy not finishing top surprised me, but like the Italy national team the disappointment is real

We would have been through to the last 8 if at all weren’t monitored and snitched upon, the bet slip we brought got in but was already out, we were lucky it was even in the group stages we made that costly mistake, we would be back stronger in the last 16.

They had a lot of difficulties due to travel restrictions in the US, less time to prepare for the matches and despite all these difficulties, and political tensions, they played great and finished the competition undefeated.
I think what we saw in the last 25-30 minutes of the match between Algeria and Austria was shameful and I hope we never see anything like that again.
As for our team, ''Team Croatia'' we started poorly but as the competition goes on we are getting better and better and I expect that we will show our best in the knockout phase and continue with the victories.

They do - but if equal goals, the player that scored them in less games will be placed better.

we already played against our opponent, southeast archipelago, in the group stage and even managed to win despite a penalty (failure to submit the betting slip)... this time, we've submitted all three tasks and are ready for the showdown

Well what a start for our team we reached the quarterfinals in the first shot and we ended up the group stage with 9 points winning all the 3 games and in great shape, we also have our wonder boy fighting for the golden ball and the old number 10 fm behind him doing a great job giving assits.

About the new rounds, what did you say about the captains, now us (the captains) have to answer the questionaries section always? Or i get it bad and it is only the penalty shots only?
