World cup and the war

Honestly I would love this negotiation or whatever they call it to bring something different that the war would end completely, they should come to an agreement because this ongoing war has never or should I say war has never given the earth anything positive instead things will go high, people will find it hard to be with their loved ones so it should come to an end fast. The world cup count down has already begun and I know for sure that the war will stop many of us from gambling (not only that, many things we do in our life will be on hold) meanwhile the government are already gambling with innocent lives so when we stop they continue but I hope not for long, at least for now I haven't seen any news of the fight still going on which is a sign of hope that the war will come to and end and the World Cup will definitely bring everybody together.

I believe that but it still depends on the world leaders who are involved in this war. I think there's a need for these world leaders and the participants of the world cup to call for action. I admire the neighboring countries of Iran for starting a peace deal and they're calling for that action. But it's just these three involved are hard headed and there seemed to be no direction with the deal initiated by these neighboring friend countries.

Why are you easily triggered whenever there is a conversation in respect to negotiations? The negotiation I am referring to is that of FIFA and the US. Iran will never go into negotiationss with the US and Israel again. I believe they have learnt their lesson.

Yes, of course. The US has no right to make decision for FIFA. In addition, this is not a decision that FIFA will rush into. They have to take their time, to make the right decision that will benefit all parties.

It is not about lessons, if it was they'd have never agreed to meet meet up when the Pakistan defense minister made a deal for them to negotiate after seeing all of their previous negotiators being killed.

No one wanted this war to happen, except for the Trump administration and the Israeli government. And unfortunately, the decision to continue or end the war largely rests with them. Therefore, our hope that the war will end soon is almost meaningless and unhelpful. Because they will not stop this war until they achieve their goal.

This is a consequence of a unipolar world, a world where power is concentrated in a single group or nation.

no. the world cup should be an event that brings us all together but i don’t think this is happening anymore. the only way all our differences be set aside is if the leaders of our nation can put down their pride and see what’s best for everyone

I think you are very correct and I totally agree with you on this one. I don't think the upcoming world cup and ease or even stop this war, because I think what is really causing this war is the issue of pride from all parties involved. I think the only thing that can ease or stop this war is if the parties involve decide to swallow their pride and try to settle this issue with diplomacy,  rather than putting their pride before the people that the war us affecting.

One of the reasons why World Cup was created and is being played today is because they wanted different countries to come together and by coming together so they can unite and be happy when two or more countries comes together for an activity they usually don’t have issues of war, and this is the reason why World Cup was created in order to bring the word together, and I believe World Cup have the power to stop the war ongoing however, the only reason why it wouldn’t is because the US are the ones hosting the World Cup and they are the ones involved in the war. The painful part is that they do it because of dominance and they find it hard to understand that they poor masses are seriously in pain which if they stop this war everything will be easy for we all. Now the world cup is on its way and they haven't thought of considering it since people from different countries will be coming to watch since is the only way to unite people, like yesterday the FIFA president said something funny yesterday although it was to me, he said football unite the World and Iran will participate in the World Cup and they will play against the UNITED STATE OF AMERICA (let me stop their), like how? There are things that need to be done for this to happen and mind you there are some persons, the Iran football federation president did not attend some of the important events that other Nations football president attended so what is FIFA president say?
To me is to make is best to sort out that particular issue first because as we speak I don't think the Iranian people are even concern about football, even the women national team ones had an issue where they said one of the player shouldn't return if not she would be punished,  so the World Cup is the last thing they are thinking.

I do not think the world cup was created for peace or to help prevent war. It also does not have the power to end any war

As far as I know, the first world cup was held in 1930, but WW II broke out in 1939 and interrupted the 1942 World Cup. In my opinion, the World Cup was created to promote global football, and its primary purpose is more commercial than peaceful.

I think you are very correct and I totally agree with you on this one. I don't think the upcoming world cup and ease or even stop this war, because I think what is really causing this war is the issue of pride from all parties involved. Politicians have narcissistic pride, they don't care about the feelings of other people around them, these war shouldn't have happened, had politicians thought about the troubles and emotional damages it'll cause children growing up in the affected states and countries. The world is in a huge chaos, people don't have access to a better living anymore, oil is all time high, the weather is too hot on sunny days, ballistic missiles are fired every now and then, but politicians do not care provided they're safe and nothing harsh happens to their family. However, the world cup is scheduled to happen this year, nothing would stop it from going on, especially when president Trump would want to brag about bagging the US anniversary, and the world cup in his second tenure.

Intentional sports competitions like the Olympics and the world cup is supposed to unite countries together in one place where different flags will represent different countries of diverse interests. But world cup on it's own cannot stop wars, if two or more countries are bent on going into war no sports events can stop them, it is mostly the selfish interests of the leaders that escalates wars and when their minds are made up they will send foot soldiers to the Frontline.

The most that I know that international sports like football can do is to bring countries together irrespective of how each they feelsl about each other but when two countries are in full blown war and one of them happens to be hosting the world cup you don't expect their enemy to send their citizens into their enemy territory in the name of football and world cup.

I agree with the world being unfair. But we can do too much to boycott such a corrupt system but we choose to be quiet like glorified cowards.

We in Nigeria can be used as a good example. That last 6 years has dragged us backwards in so many ways and it is because of the this same political influences. It is exactly what I preach to my Nigerian brothers. We're being affected by every geopolitical decisions not in favour of our own growth.

The FIFA president leaves me stunned. The peace award to Donald Trump says it all that he dumb asf.
