Both hurts very much, I don't think anyone is better than the other. If I want to gamble with $100 and I'm playing with $10 each day without winning anything for a whole 10 days that I will be playing, that will even start hurting from the third day when no profit has been made on the first and second day. Even if I play with the whole money at once and lose it, it's going to hurt just that day and I will forget about it but losing $10 everyday will prolong the hurt.

The thing is that our brain always thinks more about instant things and our psychology works a lot in them. No matter how much we have the ability to lose, no one can accept such a large amount of money quickly. This is a normal thing and it happens to everyone.

The people who would be more upset over losing $100 in a few days are the ones who would be wrong in this case and they are doing gambling wrong. If you have bankroll management and you are playing for entertainment purposes only, then you want the same amount of money to last you as long as possible and to play as many games as possible. How entertaining is it to blow your whole weekly budget in 5 minutes and be unable to play for 7 days? Not at all. So there is no excuse here for having the wrong choice, it would just show that people are doing gambling wrong despite what I keep reading them write here.

It depends on my financial situation. If my financial situation allows me to lose $100, I would prefer to lose $100 at once. Because if I bet $100, I would have a higher chance of winning, so why would I bet small amounts if I could?

The question is not related to your personal situation or your finances. You can replace $100 with any number that is more realistic to you and the comparison would be the same. It is also wild that you write something so incorrect that betting $100 at once would give you a higher chance of winning which is completely wrong. It does not increase your chance of winning at all. The chances to win are not affected by the amount that you bet.

The instant loss hurts more but it’s an instant hurting, you will get over it as soon as you leave the gambling mood or environment if it’s physical but however, it’s even more worse when you loss it slowly to me because when I do my self-accountability or weekly accounting of how I spent money for the week then I become so disgusted with myself that it hurts me more that I didn’t do anything useful with the money than just spend it on gambling slowly yet no win.

Losing $100 at once will hurt me the more, I will prefer losing the same amount after many attempts. At least I must have exploited every other opportunity to win, and in the process I will get entertained and all of that. If I lose the money at once, I’ll keep telling my self that if I had split it and tried several times that I would have been lucky to win at some point. But if I lose the money after several attempts, my mind will be at rest because deep down I knew I had tried everything possible to win and it didn’t work, possibly luck wasn’t on my side.

Losing $100 at once will look as if you just throw away the money and it won't look funny,  I would use myself as an example. when I loss small I don't always regret it but whenever I loss big I usually have this feeling of regret just like you said that if I had known I would have split it of course this also happen to me when I loss big and it's a sign that I don't bet with what I can afford to loss because those times that I have been betting with small amount I don't feel that way.

For me, if I'm to choose which one that hurts the most, I will say that losing $100 at once hurts more than if it was lost slowly within an interval of hours or days. Because assuming if that was the last amount you had on your casino, by losing all at once, it will literally just prevent you from trying your luck on more other games, unlike if for example you played a slot game with $30 (i.e Game of Olympus), and you didn't win, you could have possibly just tried a different game with a different approach while hoping to win. Because I have been in many scenarios whereby my first bet was not my luckiest, but rather 7th or 8th round of playing same sloth game. So assuming if I had lost all my capital on my first bet, I never would have had the chance to hit my jackpot on the 7th round.

Losing it at once I taking away the fun in your gambling but at least if the loses came overtime, that will clearly show that you have learn a number of things like lessons along the line which make you a better gambler I'm the future that can take the right decision regardless of how the outcome could be. If you think about it these two scenarios are actually the same but our brain processes these losses differently that's the reason why a lot of people would say losing that amount in a day is actually what is going to hurt more for them. A lot of people believe that it is better to lose their bankroll or stake slowly because if they don't stake at once it gives them to chance to try multiple times and from those trials they would be able to at least get lucky but gambling doesn't actually work like that everything, you have no guarantees of winning or losing less in the long run.

Yup, both hurts but like what OP said if you lose it slowly there's regret inside you as you can control things while you still have the opportunities to leave, while with one bet then lose it there's nothing on it that you need to think as it was  a budget for your gambling so win or lose you'll going to move forward and forget about it.

As a gambler, loosing a huge sum all at once could be very overwhelming because, you become well aware the uses that such funds could have being used for and in a matter of minutes, it’s all gone to gambling without any rewards.

When it’s series of small losses, you really don’t care much because, they always feel like an discretionary funds and can always well be seen as payment for the fun you get from gambling.

What if we try to recover it and ends up wasting more time too? I think it’s not much different when people try to recover what they’ve lost. The only difference, in my opinion when we gamble with $100 and lose it slowly, we can still enjoy gamble. But if we bet the entire $100 at once and lose it, we don’t get to enjoy the game for longer duration. I feel more hurt when I lose everything in a single bet, especially when greed takes over and make a bad decision by using all my money at once, instead of betting smaller amounts consistently like $5 per bet.

Though I haven't tried such rough play before by staking such huge amount of money in gambling but talking of the one that will stink me most is the kinda losing in a single bet, that's more painful and frustrating. However, you know why losing on a single bet could be more painful and a kind of dangerous? Is because those are the kind that if you're aren't disciplined enough you start chasing Lost. Because letting such amount to slip off your fingers just like that without fighting it back is one big decisions that only the discipline once can overcome.

So the point should be not just the one that you will accept so easily but the one that is more likely to make a gambler to start chasing lost suddenly.
