I also understand why some people are too scared to try again after failing completely. There is a kind of failure that leads to starting over from the scratch, and that kind of failure comes with a certain trauma. When you want to try some similar or even something different, that trauma of failure strikes and scares you. It only takes an extra ordinary courage to break this situation.

There is one thing I usually tell myself which is one can still get back money lost at some point in our life just a matter of time, whenever we make mistakes and lost money let the desire to make back the money and even more be greater than the fear encountering such mistake again in life, when a man has fallen what he owes himself is to rise again, mistakes are lessons, starting all over again will comes with more better approaches, sheet happens and given up should always be the last option, every mistake should make one grow a thicker skin.

Op sorry about that experience, this is also another wake up call to us all that scammers are out there and to be cautious about scheme that looks too good to be true. Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency was created to bypass the need of a third-party which is the banks or investment platform however we should also keep that profile even when we have possession of it. Self custody is the right thing to do no matter what offer is presented even staking of coins on exchanges aren't worth it because that would still ve equivalent to locking your money in a bank for a period of time.

Sorry for your story @OP. Starting all-over is the thing you do if you still want to involve. You now have experienced before which can help you to stay aware and be careful deciding. You will not decides without considering everything plus the risks as this can affect you if you don't know how to manage the risk.

But starting all-over is not easy as someone can feels worry and afraid he will repeat another mistake. He needs to believe that this time, he will be careful and not in rush achieving his goals.

Most of the times, it's really not about doing something wrong, but not having enough motivation. Motivation matters a lot for someone who's aiming for something greater, especially is such a thing is very demanding. investment is quite demanding and anyone who isn't well motivated can end up falling off for good, but with the right motivation, standing back up wouldn't be a problem at all.

I don't know but people somehow see failure as the worst thing that can ever happen to anyone. I won't lie, I also used to think that way before, but along the line, I got to actually realise how important it is for people to actually fail. almost all the greatest successes ever recorded were often accompanied by failures, the only difference between those success and the actual failures is consistency, Yes, the ability to use that failure as a stepping stone, rather than a stumbling block, using it as a yardstick to measure how far you've come and how far more you need to go before you get there.

In investment, the terminology we use is risk not a mistake...because during investment of what you're not sure of, you will give it a trial after you have carried out the possible research about the conditions of the investment...

It's possible that it might even take you much longer, maybe a couple more years to recover from some losses, But how exactly are you gonna recover when you literally stop yourself from going through that path of recovery? Indeed losses can be really painful but we need to understand that these things are part of life, they can happen at any time, but as long as there's a will, then there'll always be a way, that's one fun thing about life.
