I think so too that Fury will be the favorite to win this match but Joshua shouldn't be underestimated tbh. Yeah this comes surprising but I think a lot will probably get that odd now considering the fight has still a long way to go and it could even changed if he wins/lost the fight with Prenga this July.
Joshua had a winning streak after losing to Usyk, but then he lost to Daniel Dubois, and that clearly tells us he struggles against top-level boxers. I think Fury belongs in that category, and that’s probably one reason why the bookies made Joshua the underdog even if he has been the more active fighter between the two. As for Fury, he also got a win just this month, so that shows he can still perform well, and this kind of big fight is exactly the type he likes. Born for greatness I guess, that's what Fury is and that's what I like about him. For Joshua I think he will make this as a redemption and probably more than that if he did win with Fury. I think this will be the fight of the year if it will not be cancelled and boxing enthusiasts will surely not gonna miss this one.

I’d say this is a big fight, the kind of championship fight people have been waiting for, and it looks like it’s finally going to happen late in 2026. So I decided to check the betting odds, and I was surprised to see Fury as the favorite, while Joshua is sitting at around 2.5 odds. I’m not really sure yet if that’s accurate though since it still feels too early. Maybe once it’s already listed properly in the bookies, then we can say it’s really confirmed. for now, I can only see the odds in https://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/fights/tyson-fury-v-anthony-joshua/winnerIt's not a championship fight. There won't be any belt on the line. Both are considered to be past their prime, but the fight was so long-awaited that it still will be huge. I'm not surprised by the odds. Fury has only ever lost to Usyk (2 decision losses), who also beat AJ twice. But AJ has also been KO'd twice, the first time by Andy Ruiz Jr, who was a massive underdog in that fight, and next by Daniel Dubois. The KO loss to Dubois was AJ's most recent boxing fight, not counting the Jake Paul fight. Tyson Fury has been knocked down a few times in the past, but he has never been knocked out. So it's reasonable to expect Fury to have a harder jaw, and if the fight ends up early, more likely it would be AJ who would go down.

Has there been news on how much Fury and Joshua might get for this fight? I'm curious how much these two boxers will get on this match. I mean, a lot of people have been waiting for this fight to happen, and I am assuming sponsors want to be a part of this fight to get exposure.

--- But my most interest is the fact that fury has retired over and over and still seeking attention, knowing fully well that Joshua after his accident that took his friends lives, the world will be looking at him if he could still fight through that pain, so more attention will be on him that’s why fury wants to fight him for more validation.
Pacquiao announced his retirement after losing to Ugas but came back and fought just last year. Mayweather announced his retirement TWICE, but here he is again fighting against Pacquiao. Eric Morales announced it in 2007 only to come back in 2010 and winning multiple titles. Even the great Muhammad Ali announced his retirement in 1978 only to come out of it in 1980. My point is that, unlike UFC where they announce their retirement, they're retiring for good, boxing doesn't work that way. Somebody can announce their retirement and will come out after a few years and on the other side, some boxers can just retire without any announcement for good. Fury is the latest boxer to did it, and TBH, I already said after he said that he'll retire that at some point he'll come out of it and will fight, and that's what happened. I will not be surprised if Bud Crawford will do the same as well. We know he announced his retirement, but they can just come out whenever they feel they need to.

It is several years past when they should’ve done the fight, but this is still going to be a big event. These are two of the biggest names in British boxing history and now these rivals will finally settle their differences inside the ring. It’s hard for me to pick a winner. Fury is a better boxer overall, but he doesn’t have much power. As weak-chinned as AJ is, I think he won’t have any problems taking Fury’s punches. Fury also doesn’t move like he used to and he gets dropped often.
I expect AJ to be as motivated as he’s ever been. This is probably going to be a close fight that goes to the judges’ decision.

He gave a significant move that it could be signed during an interview, he didn’t literally accept but he was like “‘maybe” let’s see how it goes.

This is a long awaited reunion in the ring!. You’re correct that Fury is seeking attention, too much of it or it’s the only way he makes good money and gets recognition or talked about out of it. Anyway it’s a win win for him even if he loses or win it. I would like Joshua to win both him and Prenga his upcoming fight, I don’t know how he’s going to fight through the trauma of losing his friends who are always by his side when he’s in the ring. This will either give him more strength to fight or pull him down, I don’t know which way he’ll go but let’s watch and see.

Right, there is still pride involved in this fight as this is all British fight. It might be good if they have done it during their primes. However, British fans could have been waiting for this for a long time and so with that, going to be a big event for them. I think it's more on Fury as he has show that after a Usky lost, his punch volume has decline too. But AJ's chin is still questionable so that is the literally the best shot that Fury should take, aim at that China china of AJ and hope that it will break.

This match should have happened years ago when both fighters on their peak of their career, but promoters and one of the fighter is unwilling to make this happen. They need to get these things over, both fighters are in the twilight of their career, and it could be a legacy fight for any one of the fighters. I think Fury really wants this fight to happen because he is in the retiring stage and sees Joshua at his most vulnerable. I hope Joshua beats Prenga so we can finalize the fight; it's a blockbuster fight that boxing fans are waiting for.

Few years ago i am starting to believe Fury will be fully retired and won't return again to boxing but clearly i was wrong about that because Fury still curious want to fight and proof himself however probably this would be one of the biggest fight during 2026 but unfortunately both fighters has passed their prime especially for Fury that last match from his is not run well because he got several loses before decide to retired on 2024 and for british boxer in modern era i am sure both are the best and it's very interesting to know who would be the winner of this fight but me personaly make AJ as my favourite

It's been long I started hearing rumors of this fight and I hope it's been finally confirmed. This will be Anthony Joshua's first match after the can accident that took the life of his friend. I hope he has completely overcame the trauma of that incident which may be the reason may be the reason the bookies considered Fury as the favorite. Joshua have been training so hard of recent so I guess he is going to give Fury a nice beating.

Fury is the latest boxer to did it, and TBH, I already said after he said that he'll retire that at some point he'll come out of it and will fight, and that's what happened. Perhaps it has become a new practice or should we say an existing pattern now but however, I don’t think retirement should be the ascribed name if they are still always going to come, maybe just take a long break and if the break takes you to permanent retirement you can announce that in the very end. Of course I’m just being silly I know it’s not possible for anyone to do that. According to a friend, he said UFC fighters retirement when they have a good amount in the pocket and still have a little bit of glory, just to return when they pocket is running dry and seems like that is a partial but likely true statement. I will not be surprised if Bud Crawford will do the same as well. We know he announced his retirement, but they can just come out whenever they feel they need to. Me either!!

A long-awaited all-British heavyweight mega-fight is finally confirmed: https://news.sky.com/story/anthony-joshua-and-tyson-fury-fight-confirmed-13537221Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will square off sometime in Q4 this year, possibly in November. The location is not yet known. Before that happens, Joshua will fight Albanian Kristian Prenga in July. I understand the fight against Tyson Fury is not contingent on AJ beating Prenga. I'm not at all surprised to hear this news, but I didn't expect them to sign the deal before AJ's July fight. This might be a very good fight, however, to declare that this is still long awaited is very much a mistake, I reckon. These boxers is certainly creating this fight only to gather money from their fans while they can still trick them hehehe. If more years has passed by, they can only gather less money.

We'll see if he can take it. Hopefully he doesn't get himself into a corner and get that Jake Paul treatment... If Fury gets his jaw broken it won't matter if he doesn't get knocked out. Isnt Andy Ruiz Jr was the one who has proved that shape means nothing? Anyway, I dont get why Fury is a favorite in this fight. Just because he hasnt been knocked out, but AJ was? Imho that means nothing. In this fight I see AJ as a favorite. I think that AJ is more motivated to win. With all that retirement and unretirement, and mental problems, I think Fury is not the person who wants 100% to win. He wants to be victories, but loss or draw wont disappoint him. He will have a fight, retire again and get back to his family, when AJ probably will continue his career.

Usually, promoters treat these "tune-up" fights like fragile glass, but moving forward regardless of the Prenga outcome shows just how much gravity this heavyweight collision has. It’s a massive moment for British boxing, and Q4 is going to be electric. When the stakes are this high, and the timelines move this fast, you want a betting setup that matches that heavyweight energy. That’s where Bitcoin-betting enters the ring.

It is definitely a bold move to ink the deal before Joshua steps into the ring in July. Usually, promoters treat these "tune-up" fights like fragile glass, but moving forward regardless of the Prenga outcome shows just how much gravity this heavyweight collision has. It’s a massive moment for British boxing, and Q4 is going to be electric. It's not up to the promoters, still boils down on the mindset of both AJ and Fury. Both are fragile, AJ coming from that tragic accident, and then Fury making another comeback but this could be his last. When the stakes are this high, and the timelines move this fast, you want a betting setup that matches that heavyweight energy. That’s where Bitcoin-betting enters the ring.
Already given, it's just how quick crypto base gambling sites can list the odds so that at least we can see which one has value. And I think it's not going to be very hard to analyzed the fight between AJ vs Fury. But we have to see first their performance against their respective foe.

We will have to find out if he overcame that mental trauma of losing his friend and trainer. Maybe it's because of Joshua's weak chin that's why he is the underdog. Or Fury hasn't been knockout in his fight. But to be honest, this could still be 50/50 fight. AJ still have the power to knockout anyone if he hit flush. Fury though moves a lot so he will be a difficult target. So both of them have weakness and strength that can negate each other so very hard to predict the winner.

Or Fury hasn't been knockout in his fight. I think he had already overcome the trauma and if he has not he will use Fury to overcome it I saw him some weeks ago online when he was training he was very brutal and I think he will use the anger of losing his loved ones on Fury and win the match, everyone is already waiting to see how the match will look like and I’m 100 perfect sure that it will be an interesting match to watch. And I believe that AJ will win the match, if you want to bet on the match just bet on AJ to win.

This might be a very good fight, however, to declare that this is still long awaited is very much a mistake, I reckon.
These boxers is certainly creating this fight only to gather money from their fans while they can still trick them hehehe. If more years has passed by, they can only gather less money.
Of course, this fight is worth it as the world awaits two champions in the history of boxing sports to challenge each other to a fight again. We all know as fighters they are, they are entertainers and also sportsmen, so there is nothing new about the money they gather. After all, they entertain a million and one people who buy their fight ticket to watch them perform on stage. So if you say they are gathering money from their fans, I would not argue with you in that regard because they are performing and entertaining their fans, so it requires a financial commitment for them to put on the sports.

Has there been news on how much Fury and Joshua might get for this fight? I'm curious how much these two boxers will get on this match. I mean, a lot of people have been waiting for this fight to happen, and I am assuming sponsors want to be a part of this fight to get exposure.
There doesn't seem to be much information about the fight purse. Perhaps it's a little too soon as the exact date and venue are yet to be confirmed, but then again, there must've been some amount stated in the contract they signed. The only information I found on that (I wasn't searching very hard though) is from a local Manchester news outlet that says it will be the biggest payday for each of them: The Battle of Britain purse: The upcoming fight is expected to be the largest payday in either fighter's career, boosting their respective net worths close to £150m ($200m). The deal was finally pushed over the line after Fury called Joshua out ringside following the Makhmudov fight. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/boxing/anthony-joshua-tyson-fury-fight-33845756
