The goods that are cheap dont necessarily mean bad and neither is an expensive good always good. It is the normal human response but not always correct.

What needs to be bought depends on your choice and need. If you need something buy it, see what is cheap but not too cheap and get it and use it. Dont overthink for that.

However most things are not needed but ends up being a luxury, that should be kept at a minimum. Spend only what the need is but dont overspend.

In my country sometimes product prices are not only determined by its quality some times but are determined by other factors that affect the prices such as inflation and economic downturn. What used to be cheap to acquire yesterday can suddenly become expensive due to factors such as fuel prices and transportation not because the quality of such products have in anyway increased or gotten better. We also have issues with fabricated goods and products here. You will see an exact product with exact label only to later find out it is a fabricated brand by the time you begin to do a thorough test and this is as a result of people buying and trusting more of foreign products and brands than the local ones. So instead of the local producers to make their own products with their own label and make it cheaper, they may end up producing less quality products with labels of the foreign brands and make it as expensive too.

Your point of view is correct from this perspective. Inflation and rising raw material and transportation costs are a result of higher fuel prices, All of these factors contribute to higher prices for goods, not just quality.

As for the problem of counterfeit products it is a real problem that most countries suffer from. Here in my country there are many of these counterfeiters who imitate high-quality products and sell them at high prices. These products cause great damage to the national economy and to citizens alike.

, there are some business owner who even buy those cheaper products, packaged it and sample  since they are known for quality products, people will still buy it expensive without noticing because their mindset has already believed it’s quality products because of where it is placed , our mindset limit us  a lot from some reality.

This thing you said now is very true I know of a particular boutique that is very expensive. I mean there things there are very expensive because they are quality and that is what everyone believe however, when I started coming close to the owner of the boutique, I noticed that I usually buy his clothes, shoes and other things he sells from the same  market or place that other people usually buy from, but a lot of people don’t know in fact they think he orders his goods outside the country, a lot of things that people are buying and thinking that they are buying the quality ones because it is high in price are actually the same thing with those that are low in price, people are just being deceived by the store that those goods are.

Many of us are just deceive with names and packaging,I had a friend who sews ready to wear cloths , her major customer are in uk , after sewing she transport it to her and it’s mainly in bulk , like 30 to 40pieces , with what she explains to me , it seems the woman usually tags those cloth, like she has her own label , them packaged it and send it back to Nigeria as if is foreign cloths, and people will rush to buy it expensive, you see this inflation of price, most time we are the cause , we don’t appreciate what we have and when given cheaper price we label it as fake , that is why they are always using our head .

Not at all. There are a lot of cheap goods that can also have good quality. This depends on the usage that we'll do with those goods. While I also like the more expensive ones because it means better quality. But, that doesn't apply at all times. These people are also businessmen and they know this logical thinking from the consumers that whenever something is more expensive than the other ones, it's more sturdy but not in all cases.

I have to agree with this. Not all cheap in price comes with cheap quality as well. Because if that's the only basis, then what's the point of selling them when its a red flag from the very beginning. For us consumers, we are given the freedom to choice, but sometimes its not in the price that matters, but its how you manage to utilize them that won't compromised their quality.

Being cheap is never an issue especially if you know how to maximize its function, but if you are a high-class user, for sure it will matter a lot to you not because of its high durability, but for some reason, its a means of showing off.

I used to buy cheap items on a very popular online shopping application here in our country. Most of them came from another country where items are made by quantity and not quality. Those items are now either in the trash or somewhere in the storage room, probably destroyed.

You are right, most cheap items have low quality, and they are not made to last long. Well, it was not avoided when the pandemic came. We are trying to survive and buy items that are not of good quality just so we can save money. But after that, I regret it all. All that money spent on repeated items could've bought a quality one, and it would still be working until now.

Yeah, exactly what you said , you have to be careful because expensive doesn’t always mean quality. These days, people often pay more for the brand than for the actual quality.I’ve mostly bought expensive stuff that’s been tested and recommended. Seeing it as a red flag is an exaggeration. Your concerns are just focused on its quality and durability factors. But you tend to forget its key advantages for its consumers.  Cheap products enhance affordability and savings, increased consumer choice, lower opportunity cost and boost economic impact by creating jobs.

You are practically correct, because we often see and experience this in our daily lives whenever we go for the cheaper alternative thinking that we are saving money, but in reality, we are compromising on the quality of the good we are purchasing, which means that it won't be as good as the one which is more expensive, and we might eventually have to buy the other one anyway, but it's just our mind that tells us to go for the cheaper one because we will spend less money at that moment. I'm actually totally against this, and I would say that as long as one can afford to get the one that is a bit more expensive but you know has better quality, go for that instead.

Not all inexpensive item are of poor quality, but the truth is that most cheap product tend to come with higher risk. Not to mention, finding a cheap product that is also of good quality can be quite time consuming.

Quality things are modern-day luxury, that's what I tell my family. Where I come from, to live in a good apartment, with well-structured, steady electricity, and availability of security will cost you 8 times what you will pay to live in a casual setting that lacks the things I mentioned. There are so many people who buy things for surviving, cheap clothes, food and items, not because they are trying to safe money but that's all they have, these people are struggling to survive.

It must be admitted that affordable product allow more people to access and use thing they previously could not afford. I also agree that not all inexpensive products are of low quality.
However, I do not think they will be of the same quality as more expensive products. I do not believe Tecno phone will perform as well and last as long as iPhone or Samsung. The differences between them are even greater.

In the end, expensive thing are not automatically more durable, and whether they break quickly or not depend on how we use them.

Well, to some extent I can agree to what you said, but there are a lot of expensive things that are not worth it. People have this consciousness that cheap things are not worth your money and most of the products when purchased will cause you more harm than good and because of that they prefer going for the expensive things to avoid stories. I personally have gotten some few products that are expensive and didn't work or worth the value for my money and I've also gotten some cheap things that have been working for me till date.

Most of the expensive product right now are even so fake, have heard so many people complaining of the amount they bought things and  still they couldn't get the result of their money spent so far. People just have their preferences, like me personally I don't like Trendy clothes or anything of such and if I see nice thrift wears I purchase it even if I know it's cheap but it's worth my money.

Most people are now wise when it comes to expensive things and getting cheaper things, there are some things that you can afford in low quality that work or even last longer compared to the expensive things at the market. It's all about choices, whatever works for you just stick to it.
