Question to organisers: Does your balance always include unsettled bets? ~
To be fully honest with you, I remembered this specific case one day while trying to sleep and then forgot to include it in the rules.
All unsettled bets will naturally count as remaining balance - meaning that if you have 20$ in the bank and 35$ in unsettled bets, most you can top up is 45$.
We don't really want to incentivize outrights - it is slow and boring

It is a part of a legit strategy though, if you're being careful with your balance and have a lot of unsettled bets near the end of the competition, you'll have a big edge.
Only thing that we really want to have but can't implement properly is live betting - so no live bets will be accepted. There is simply no way to work around the trust element.
Thanks, yeah that was what made the most sense, but that does take away a lot from group progress strategies I wanted to attempt (since I can't rebuy before they settle, I'll miss a chance to rebuy at that stage).
Hey, hey, it's not slow and boring, if it's not the only part of the strategy. Teams put out their subs late in games, some even make wholesale changes (basketball does this right?)... I can still play fast and furious with whatever I keep out of outrights. But yeah, I get it.
I just naturally play outrights in big tournaments, personally feel satisfied taking say, an 8/1 on a book when every competitor's got 6/1 or 7/1. Shame if I don't include them in a competition called
