I just warm up yesterday making one bet of only 15$ i saw some guys going all in with some heavy bets already, seems like they are making a start like poker, it could be the correct call, we are gonna find out soon.

Just joined,barely got in on time for the first game. Did a small bet aswell to test out how it will go just a single bet on mexico of just 11$. Hopefully this goes well still a long amount of time. I think i might just do single for the start of this tournament. Hopefully i win a few at the beginning so that i dont fall behind. I see some players already went big trying to get a huge advantage over others. I will go a different direction and try with small bets to grow my bankroll.

If I have time, I'll upload a bet I've placed, México vs. RSA because I forgot there's also a form to submit here.

BTW, the form submission doesn't require prior notice; I mean, I could have placed the pre-match bet but not yet submitted the form. (If this has already been mentioned, my apologies).

Tough beat on one of my bet slips for the RSA vs. Mexico game. I had over 2.5 goals. South Africa got two red cards with about 10 minutes left and still Mexico couldn't score. then Mexico got a red card too. I honestly thought if Mexico had let that RSA chance go in, my over 2.5 goals bet would have cashed.

I also feel the same but you know.... is Mexico they arent reliable at all we cant put so much trust on them despite being the favorite for normal football level and plus the extra of being the hoster and local.

And it's on! Just made my first bets and of course I had to start it all with an outright bet on Argentina, I really hope we can win it again, they have great odds at 10 which might come in handy at the end of this competition to help me climb the leaderboard.
I also made an outright bet on Morocco at 50 odds, yes it is a massive long shot and most probably won't happen but I was looking for a high odds dark horse, it's a hail mary that I'm throwing now hoping it gets caught on the final day. Other than those two, I made a bet on Mexico scoring two goals or more against South Africa, with that I am officially on the board and in the black for now, so let’s hope it stays that way!

Yeah I don't understand myself why I added the corners market. I sniffed at 2-0 exact score because it was just 6/1 but should have at least gone for the 1.5 handicap like Hhampuz did.

Saw some nice picks on btts no also from some people so I should have done that!

Some bets have already been uploaded. I was waiting to get a feel of the tournament but feel it is still same as if I bet pre tournament. I am trying to go with fair risks for the first few rounds and adjust as the tournament goes if I am still in it.

If someone makes only 2 bets in a round and forgets to make the third are those 2 automatically invalid or can be rolled over, they will just now have to make an extra bet next round to cover for it?

I thought of this when making my bets too, best to have a short frame of a few days and I tried to not have concurrent bets too.

The plan was to beat the bookie, but right now it's the bookie with the bet to my ass after not choosing to know the lay of the land, but I do think it's going to get rather better in the next few games, excluding that of Canada vs Bosnia that's currently going sideways for me.

I like multi-day parlays and I'll start doing them if I get to 3x current bank or something close to that. But with just 100$ I think it's best not to lock yourself out early.
Then again, I'd have Mexico on all my parlays - which would look great after yesterday.

Promo started really well - 24 participants, 70+ bets, 1700+$ wagered in less than 1 full day of the WC. Will be tougher to win this one than I thought Grin

It's going to be interesting to see the final stats of this contest once it's over. I imagine that Rainbet will end up in the plus, especially considering that most of us will eventually have to take big risks and bet on high odds just to catch the leaders. That gives a much higher probability of losing tickets. I would also be really interested to see the total amount of volume we collectively end up wagering on the platform. My guess is that the percentage of members finishing with a negative balance will be very high.

Damn I wish I followed my gut feeling and placed a bet something, and I had many ideas in my head including them scoring first goal, or asian handicap win.
I am planning to post more predictions for Beat the Bookie tomorrow after I see final results from other matches.
So far I got half of both tickets correct and I am waiting Brazil and Australia matches to finish.

I really thought I would create two freebets when I placed my Mexico vs South Africa HT draw bet......but Sithole had other plans!
Maybe he was too nervous but Mexico was anything except convincing.
In any case it's very interesting to see the different approaches from everyone here.

Re-Buy procedure

If you are re buying you have to write it here in the thread and tag both of us. Max amount is up to 100$ (together with your current balance and open tickets) as it states in the OP.

In case all your tickets (or some) are not graded yet but lost (we check them only when last game comes around), you can still rebuy max amount just put a note into the post saying something like "all my tickets are lost" and we will grade them immediately so that numbers in the table are always reflecting real state.
