KTChampions leea-1334, yeah, I hear ya, believe me I do haha. Champions League pool will probably stay the same. I think it's already a "stable" format and seems to have met a middle ground with most participants, but let's open the floor once more in that thread to see if the penalty system stays or is adapted. There is no perfect way, admittedly, but the aim is to get majority to be okay with any changes, to ensure maximum participation.
Understood completely of course,,, this is not a criticism but a suggestion for sure. We all completely get the difficulties of organizers so despite all the banter we are backing you guys mafia and everyone who stands up for the forum and makes all these things possible. I always mention but will mention again it is people like you and @KTChampions that I really follow from the early years because you both seemed like very spot on and rational in the way you gamble,,, despite that you have a reputation of crazy picks, your hit rate was marvellous in your thread

So of course, I will stick to the pool regardless that I do not prefer penalties,,, majority must be respected

Yeah, in a short format we had to create a mechanic in which people cannot camp after a good start.
Live betting will always be a no-go.
Unfortunately it's impossible to implement without constant checks with a bookie representative - which is naturally not in anybody's interest.
Other than that, in future instances the only rule will probably be a 10$ wagering minimum.
Livebetting no-go is absolute must for equality,,, taking into account Asian players who are almost excluded from livebetting unless they have no lives and live in a basement so that was very important! It was also my first experience in a proper wager contest like this, and I learnt a lot,,, for example to just be patient.
The rebuy limit was also important IMO. Partly for equality but partly also responsible gaming
