I don’t think there is really a big competition here. In terms of number of bettors, maybe slots will win because a lot of people play it casually. But when we talk about the total amount of money being wagered, I don’t think slots could even reach 50% of what is being wagered in sports betting.

I did not check the exact numbers here, but just based on what I see, there are bettors who can bet $1 million on just one game. I don’t really see someone betting that kind of amount on slots, or even $100k on a single spin, unless maybe they are doing it for promotional purposes or for content.
So for me, slots may have more players, but sports betting probably has the bigger money volume.

I observe this long time again, many casino platforms are now adding spot betting to their platforms, but in my own opinion, it is not that they are getting outdated, but since they call it gambling and sport betting is what people in some part of the world do more often, they add it to have a complete platform instead of having two separate platforms for casino and for sport betting separate.

If you have other interest like video gaming then gambling online might be boring, i do play here and there but majority of the time i enjoy wagging a bet in a sporting event i watch.

@OP sports betting is really big right now with all the major crypto sports sites are sponsoring major leagues and the business is growing tremendously and hence you find new players coming into the market and old casinos adding sportsbook in their platform to attract the growing interest in sports gambling and adding more customer base.

one thing about me is that I don't believe that people who Gamble they do gamble it because of their entertaining themselves but on my own side I always see anyone who is into gambling like someone who want to make a money because if you want to entertain yourself through gambling I don't think that you will involve yourself in betting but you can only watch the activities of the game instead of betting on their behalf, but saying that there are entertaining their self I don't think that that is the truth because entertainment are different catching fun in gambling can be real when you are more than one persons in the building to watch the match

When a casino only serve a few gamblers out of hundreds of gamblers, this can hinder their ability to compete with other casinos that have all the games available for their players. One sided casino may not make enough money from their users because they can not make profits from players that are mainly into sportbook and also users that are mainly into casino games.
