So this is another chance for Canelo to win one of his belt back.
If we talk boxing between Alvarez vs. Mbilli I think this is the most intense fight of the year, we have to understand the strategy and experience they have.

Alvarez, there is no doubt that he has a wealth of experience in the boxing arena, he is very skilled at facing his fellow fighters, No matter how agile his opponent is, Alvarez can overcome his opponent's pressure. What's more, we understand how to bet on Mbilli, with his mastery of continuous punches, this is extraordinary boxing in the ring.

In my opinion, this match for both of them is not only a testament to both of them, it will also attract their respective fans in the prestigious world of WBC middle class in 2026.

Yes, this one should be an intense match because both can be aggressive when they want to. Honestly, it would already be a treat if this reaches the judges’ scorecards, but I have a feeling it might not end that way.

After Canelo lost to Crawford, I’m sure he wants to prove that he still has it and come back with a strong win. Mbilli’s style could actually suit Canelo because he likes to come forward, which may give Canelo plenty of chances to use his counters. But if Canelo loses again, then I think people will really start questioning how much that last loss affected him, and maybe retirement will become a serious possibility.

Mbilli is hungry but got nothing to lose and that makes him a worthy opponent I can surely bet on to defeat Canelo.

I for one cannot wait to see your bet being shared Wink Lots of people saying they will bet here and there and not much on the forums to show this is the case  Grin

Be more like @GreatArkansas,,, says he will take a bet and does so and proves it!

And this is why I chose to his reasoning, completely makes sense  Grin

The odds did actually favor Alvarez on my betting app, but notwithstanding, I did place my bet where my mouth is and am sure this match would go through the rounds even if not till the 11th round, but am giving Mbili a fighting chance to prove he is worth it and hungry enough to win.

Wow, I can see you guys really love those underdog odds and find them attractive. Remember, this is still Canelo. Losing to Crawford doesn’t mean he already lost his old self.

Though I can’t blame you because the odds are really enticing. But I guess I wouldn’t be joining that side for now, it’s still too early and things could still change. For now, I still think Canelo has the advantage in this fight.

That is probably the safest approach, but if you want to feel the excitement, especially if you are not betting heavily on the match, then backing his opponent can make sense.

After all, Canelo is coming from a loss. You can look at it from the angle that maybe he has not fully recovered mentally yet, and that loss could still be haunting him and affect his performance. If that happens, then an upset is definitely possible. That’s the angle I’m looking at here.

This is a very interesting fight. We all know how Canelo fights very methodically. He sized you up, studied your movement, power, and ring IQ, then he adjusted to beat you.

Mbili is a strong power puncher with a wicked left hook, but he is slow and stiff; many of the fighters he has knocked out were easy targets. With Canelo, I don't think he can do what he did to his previous opponents; he is still undefeated with 29 wins and 24 fights, looks impressive, but not so when facing Canelo.

I expect Canelo to regain his WBC Super Middleweight title

Don’t be delusional my bro, I love Canelo like crazy but this fight is not gonna be an easy one for him at all.

Mbilli is fucking tank, the guy has got power, aggression and doesn’t mind dogging it out because he can take shots so i wouldn’t be surprised if he beats Canelo.

If Canelo wants to win that fight, he’s gotta bring something different than what he did against Crawford; probably more early aggression by establishing his jab and body shots before Mbilli can start to power up.
Or he could just try as much as possible to initiate a higher work rate in the early rounds, that way he probably won’t get out worked by Mbilli later in the middle rounds.

IMO this fight is a 50-50 fight so if i were you, i wouldn’t be so quick to ride the hype just because Canelo is the bigger name, Mbilli is no joke and his fight with Lester Martinez is enough proof even though that’s not the only one.

I'm not delusional; I based it on a factual analysis of past performance and overall skill. For the record, the three fighters that beat Canelo are technical fighters and future Hall of Famers; the biggest question is who Mbili has fought. I can't recall any tough dogs Mbili has fought and beaten.

Mbili is the kind of fighter that Canelo can easily beat because he is flat-footed; the punches are telepathic; there's nothing new Mbili can bring that Canelo hasn't seen.

I do agree with the assessment, as Mbilli struggled against Sergiy Derevyanchenko, who was 38 years old and was fighting with a torn bicep. And yet, he was able to land clean counters on Mbilli. If Sergiy Derevyanchenko can do that with a torn bicep, you can only imagine how Canelo will easily find the chin of Mbilli. This fight now is a level above his talent, in my opinion.
