While searching for the best, secure and reliable Bitcoin wallet to use few months ago, I stumbled upon this thread by Lauda as he suggested some of the best Bitcoin wallets suitable for each device. And since I currently use an Android user, I gave my main focus on the best Bitcoin wallets suitable for Android phones, of which I ended up using "Unstoppable" Bitcoin wallet for my primary storage. And to be honest, I must say the wallet is actually cool, user friendly and has a great interface .

And with this feature being activated, if  someone eventually steals your phone while using it, it will automatically lock itself after the selected interval of time.


3. Balance Auto Hide: This feature helps you to automatically hides your Bitcoin wallet balance each time you opens the app. And with this feature, it will help prevent third parties knowing the exact value of the funds you have in your Bitcoin wallet

4. Hide Suspicious Txs: What this feature does is to help you hide suspicious small transfers that are often used in phishing attacks on your Bitcoin wallet.


DEFENSE SECURITY FEATURES

5. Secure Send: So by activating this feature, what it does is to prevent you from mistakenly sending funds to phishing or risky Bitcoin or any other crypto addresses.

6. Scam Protection: And by activating this feature, what it does is to warn you whenever you try to connect to fake or malicious dApps. Acting as a security alert tool.

7. Swap Protection: And by activating this feature on your Bitcoin wallet, what it does is to protect your funds from bot and MEV attack during swapping of coins. And this feature is very necessary for those who do crypto hunting and swap multiple coins.

8. Robbery Protection: And by activating this feature, what it does is to help you safeguard your Bitcoin if in case you happen to be in a situation whereby you are forced to unlock your Bitcoin wallet, because with this feature, it can help you create a different duplicate wallet interface on the same wallet that can only be access with a different password. This is a bit misleading because all of the features on the "Defense system" (the screenshot on the right) are not free. You must pay for the premium subscription if you want them or as a workaround download the app through F-droid.

I like every features available in unstoppable wallet, that part where you can create a fake wallet with different password is dope but I do hope that the owner will have the calmness to pull that off in the face of death threat, but anyways, I believe that users who are using Unstoppable wallet should keep only small amount of Bitcoin on it.

This is still a mobile crypto wallet, don't forget that, always keep small Bitcoin on it, and for spending purposes only, even if someone draw a gun on you they can go away with the $50 or $100 in the wallet if that's the type of money they want.

Normally you are not supposed to keep alot of bitcoin in a hot wallet, and yes unstoppable is a cool wallet, I am not just satisfied with the fact that it's running on a Android device, I wish we get a hardware wallet from unstoppable, it will definitely be the second one I am buying.

I like the robbery protection on Unstoppable wallet, but it is not what I can go for if I have to pay for it. Also I have been using Electrum, Bluewallet and other bitcoin wallet and no problem. I do not make my bitcoin wallet on phone my everyday device and it is hidden somewhere at my home which is enough for protection. I only use it at home and not outside home.

It is worth knowing that you should get cold storage also. Online wallet will remain not secure like cold storage, no matter the protection that it has.

Im sure the basic features of security in a wallet are enough to provide a bitcoiner with the right layer of security. The rest of the work is left to us to execute what we have learnt regarding security. Which should not be difficult for a learned person. Having to pay for premium packages is not necessary, because if at the end of the day, you expose your device, it can also be tampered with, and funds can be stolen from your wallet.

I don't rely on any wallet software's features to defend my bitcoin as with Bitcoin and a non-custodial wallet, I am fully responsible for security of my Bitcoin wallet, bitcoins and Bitcoin transactions.

So to secure my coins, I have to practice very carefully with every steps, and it's not kind of paranoid but very necessary mandatory security practice.

I don't use unstoppable wallet, but i used it some years back and later switched to coinomi wallet. So, right now I use coinomi wallet for my daily transaction and cake wallet for my long term holding. And if these features are actually available on unstoppable wallet and they are free I won't mind downloading it back on my mobile phone and start using it for daily transactions. But if otherwise i rather stick with my coinomi wallet, beside the coinomi wallet has been really good so far, but the only problem I have with the coinomi wallet is that it is a close source wallet.

I lost the seed phrase to my unstoppable wallet, which resulted to the lost of the Bitcoin I was holding on the unstoppable wallet. So, a friend of mine referred me to coinomi wallet, at first I never knew it was a close source wallet, it was later I found out that the wallet is a close source. But if all these features OP mentioned are available on the unstoppable wallet, I may likely switch to the wallet.

Yes, this is very correct. Unstoppable wallet and Cake wallet are open source wallets while Coinomi is a close source wallet. I have used Coinomi before in the past but I stopped using it immediately that I came to this forum. It was the time that I know that it is a close source wallet. I also stopped using Trust wallet which is not open source.

They are not free features, you will have to pay and trust me, most unstoppable wallet users are not using those features because they don't have the money for them.

I have unstoppable wallet installed on my phone too but as for those features, they are just there unused, I don't need to as I already have a hardware wallet for better security.

Unstoppable wallet is as good as Electrum, because they are both open source and also the best of the best, they are both recommendable to beginners who still can't afford a hardware wallet but still, a hardware wallet is way better.

I lost the seed phrase to my unstoppable wallet, which resulted to the lost of the Bitcoin I was holding on the unstoppable wallet. So, a friend of mine referred me to coinomi wallet, at first I never knew it was a close source wallet, it was later I found out that the wallet is a close source. But if all these features OP mentioned are available on the unstoppable wallet, I may likely switch to the wallet.

This features are actually available on the unstoppable wallet but as discussed it’s not free but still I will advice you ditch a closed source wallet for an open wallet but still this doesn’t mean that all open source wallet are actually or automatically save open source isn’t a gurantee of safety. But at least tech savvy users can see what happens behind the source (backend) and this tells the changes the developer is making. Nothing more special about open source you still have to secure its seeds or keys.

I also read from your post that you use cake wallet which is an hot wallet as your wallet for long term storage, that’s a bad idea in my opinion as cold storage remains the best wallet for long term storage and also larger amount of money

AFAIK this feature primarily exist because some user decide to copy their address from latest TX. So it's even better if people copy their address from list of address or just use generate new address feature.

im not sure if i trust those apps, stick to the open source wallets.

From what I understand unstoppable is a multi coin wallet, and one of the best there is. The features looks cool but I will still go for something simple.

They are not free features, you will have to pay and trust me, most unstoppable wallet users are not using those features because they don't have the money for them.

I don't think it's because they don't have money to pay. The features are some how advanced and not necessary for many users. Some people just want something simple and you should not temper with what you don't understand.

I've seen some features on wallets that I don't worry turning on, because I don't know what they are or do I need them..

These features are advanced features made to offer you maximum security, and it's made available for those who can afford it, because there are lots of people who have lost huge sum of money in crypto and Bitcoin who would have love that they ever came across features like this to activate, but unfortunately, there weren't opportuned. So you thread was created for those who can afford paying the premium subscription on Unstoppable Bitcoin wallet.

Because imagine you have a huge sum of money on your wallet, you are offered a feature that will alert you when sending funds to risky/phishing address, and warn you when you mistakenly connects to fake dApps. Wille you activate or not?..
