A couple of decades ago, we lived by the saying; "hard work ensure success".
In recent times, that is however not the case, as the whole system is evolving.

One can consider working for more hours as hard work, consider that with the wages on display currently as in most cases wages don't match the level of work, and the drastic economic situations, expenses are sure outweighing incomes from wages.

Hard work can lead to productivity and productivity can lead to more income for owners, not workers, as workers may be compensated with just a little pay rise. This then leads to my point, wealth comes from ownership of assets; such as businesses, real estate and even stocks, and not necessarily by hard work, systems are changing, and ownership income is increasing.

Hard work gets you there for sure, but it's no longer enough, ownership is the wealth engine!

I doubt if hard work has ever guaranteed wealth else wheelbarrow pusheher on the street will have been the wealthiest people but rather it's one working smart. Check out the wealthiest people you know of today, they work smart and not only hard. They use their money to buy time to earn more money by employing people to the job for them, if hardwork is the way, most of them wouldn't want to employ workers they will like to do those job themselves and earn more money. Companies are beginning to use AI to do some job to get more jobs done faster conveniently and to get more output in the shortest period of time.

The smartest way to build wealth is to convince all the stupid idiots to give you money. After all, there are about 8 billion stupid fucking morons on Earth, so there are a lot of idiots to take advantage of. Humans are really the stupidest pieces of shit imaginable.

There is this saying which says, Work Smart not hard. We all know working hard Will always have a huge impact in everything you choose to do, but applying some wisdom into it will allow you spend less energy in doing that same exact thing, and that energy reserved can be channeled in to something else that will be resourceful.

We are in a computer age now and those who are smart, intellectually sound are being rewarded more than those that only have hard work to offer. When you take a look at the world entirely today, the most successful business, individuals, company are the ones that can think of something different, something smart.

Hard work can get you an average life but working smart can get you a life you can barely imagine.
There's a saying in my country: "Work kills horses." What does it mean? Hard work will never make a person rich. You need to work with your head, not your hands. Only this approach will provide all the necessary resources for a decent standard of living. It's a shame my parents didn't tell me about this. They were factory workers and didn't know about such things. That's why they raised me that way. No, I don't blame them in any way. They did what they knew best.
