OK, it is a fact that casinos shadow-ban winners. But how do you think casinos select those who they shadow-ban? They dont ban all the winner or all the high-rollers, they dont ban all those who regularly win (because all those who use gambling to earn and are successful would have exposed that and made big announcement, while so far those bans are exceptions). What criteria do you think qualify for a shadow-ban?
That criteria is what we can't tell since they don't even accept the fact that they ban people; they accuse you of violating a law which you are very sure you did not, or maybe they already have a special pattern of winning which they have programmed their algorithm to identify and pick each time it's being noticed, and nah, a player who by mistake wins by such a pattern could automatically be restricted or restrained using any excuse they feel like will justify their actions.

Probably those high rollers that bet 6 digits in one go and also those sports bettor that could win 5 to multiple wins in a row or wins huge amount too. Because casinos won't just shadow ban a high rollers than don't win multiple times a row, they just get more benefits as VIP or whatever they call it depends on the casino.

Regular players aren't afraid of any bans. Casinos and bookmakers don't even notice small amounts. But if a player deposits $10 and withdraws $10,000, the security system will likely check their gaming history. Even here on the forum, I can't recall any high-profile scandals where a player's account was banned for constantly winning (which is highly unlikely).
That is the kind of unusual activity that the casinos are detecting. And they have all the rights to suspend and check the history of that gambler because it doesn't look right and normal. So, abnormal activities when detected could lead to scrutiny of the casino before giving a decision on what they can do to that. More likely, going to be shadow banned or won't even go through that and an outright ban. I think when comes to abnormalities, most casinos use their systems in order to detect arbitrage on their sport betting markets and money laundering. When comes to casino games, if someone was very lucky and managed to multiply their money quickly, the casino has access to the gambling log of the person, so there is nothing to hide from the administration of the house. They could ask further KYC documents in order to peace regulators and comply with the standards of their license issuer and whatnot, but being lucky once as trying to walk away with thousands of dollars which were earned fairly is not supposed to be a reason for one to get blacklisted, banned or shadow banned by any casino... Key is consistency, if someone is consistent, then there are reasons for the casino to consider shadow banning. Yes, there are logs or audits that they can review to prove if a user has won those prizes outright and they're lucky. When in doubt, that's when they start asking kyc and whatever is next is up to them. I don't usually big at all and mostly lose and that's why I don't feel that a ban has been applied to me and I guess other users who have lost a lot feels the same. I am also in the negative when comes to my win/loss ratio, so I don't have any expectation on me getting a shadow ban either. Casinos must have some system which they use to highlight and filter gamblers who are in a position in which their win/loss ratio is positive against the house, and leave gamblers who periodically lose money alone. There are casino which do not have as much bankroll as others, so they actually apply some predatory strategies against gamblers who have managed to earn money, even though they have earned that money fairly... It is something I have seen in some YouTube channels which document casinos, specially brick and mortar ones. Also, the case of bettors who have gotten their betting limits drastically reduced, it is something which I would also consider to be shadow banning.

The word shadow-ban is often misunderstood, I think. Most casinos will not limit what players are allowed to play for or win, as it would harm the reputation of the gambling house easily. Casinos, however, do monitor unusual betting habits, bonus abuse, multi-accounting, arbitrage betting or any other action that might be a violation of the casino's rules. It's not about the truth, it's about transparency. Casinos that restrict or audit accounts ought to explain this. Restrictions should be put in place only when there is a winning streak, but when suspicious behavior is observed, attention should be drawn.

It's because of the idea that maybe some players are lucky to win huge amount of money from casinos that why this shadow-ban come into existence. But I'm not sure if this is true or not. Casinos are in the business of profits and so why would they ban players? Ans if we talk about luck, not everyone is lucky to bankrupt casinos and there are ways for casino to put some kind of limit so that they won't lose money in a day. So maybe this is just what some gamblers wanted to spread that they are too good for casinos that why they got shadow-ban.

Any casino that actually shadow ban its customers is actually not ready to remain in business because over time they will lose a lot of customers, personally i have never been shadow banned even though i have had a lot of wining streaks, i will say that it’s probably because the amount won isn’t that high so it has always been easy to pay, i also feel like the particular casino you chose to gamble with matters too, once you are using a reputable casino i doubt that you can have any challenge because no reputable casino will want to shadow ban any gambler knowing that it might affect their reputation. This topic should be an eye opener to gamblers to always stick with only reputable casino’s, so that once you win you won’t hear any stories.

I am also glad that I have never bumped this kind of gambling site or a sports bookie. Those who hate withdrawals and making the gambler's life so difficult whenever they want out. I have experienced one online casino that I didn't like but it's not really like a shadow ban. It's the wagering that gave me a lot of trouble understanding how it works. A daily reset. So when you lose a lot of money from 12:01 AM up to 11:59 PM, then the next day you won a big amount on your first 100 rolls, you won't be able to withdraw all of it unless you wagered the same amount. For me, that's one unfair type of system that I didn't like, and right after I noticed that, I walked away getting almost nothing after I wagered the early won amount again. I didn't come back afterwards.

With the completive nature of the Casino's, I don't particularly thinks that any casino which wants to be in business will try to take particular concern over the winning of customers. One thing that we should know is that every Casino try as much as possible to make sure that there is no foul play from anyone on their platform. That's why some casinos will require a KYC when ever there is a huge wining just to be sure and knowing their customers better. But to think about Casinos trying to victimize customers that has won big is what I don't think and will not subscribe to.

I heard people accusing of almost every casino that they are restricted after winning x amount, but it doesn't happen on a casino with good reputation and we can take a look at the trust page of casinos to make sure of that. While there is always some gray are that no one can explain when it comes to centralized platforms which they might havr to take some actions like that only if they have a solid proof that the person is cheating the platform in one way or the other.
see many casino they are scam and the mindset why they operate is because of to extort some people that is why they operate, so you can only get a good casino if the casino have license to operate and that is where you can have a reliable casino platform that will not restrict you from making a withdrawal whenever you win from their platform This is a problem that can be experienced with licenced and no licence casinos but it's just that it's with much tendency to occur with no licence operational casinos. The way to stay off it from having such nasty experiences is by making use of reputable casinos. You don't hear about this with stake.com, withdrawal go fast in less than 3-5 minutes regardless of the amount you legitimately won.

I never experience a shadow ban from a casino, I want to believe that most people that fall under this experience must have violated one or two rules from the casino, on a neutral base, our account shouldn't be flagged or banned for anything, once we are not violating the rules, also ,when it comes to winning, we should know that gambler should not be restricted to claim their right after winning because they took the risk to play a game, a reputable casino will not also hesitate to award such winning to gamblers qualified.

No matter how you tightened the way you are gambling, that do not mean that you can not make loses at all. Mistakes happens always and we don't know when the next mistake might be so it is important to gamble with the self thought that money can be lose at anytime and it will not make any sense to choose to be focused instead of trying luck.
That has something to do with what we know as the house edge and that in casinos we win only by sheer luck. Personally, I would say that with casinos you have to be careful. If we get carried away, we'll spend a lot of money if there's no control. Many talk about emotional control, I'm talking about controlling your money, only spending what you're willing to lose. It may sound cliché, but it's better that way.

I understand the point you are making and the area which you are also coming from, but you also have to understand that not all casinos are playing fairly to their customers. Sometimes the player doesn't need to violate any law before they can restrict the person from some certain things in the casino; the only crime of the person might be that he's winning more than he's possibly losing. They could first limit the amount per wager limit to reduce how much could be carried away from the casino, and later on they can take other decisions.

I've been chasing bonuses on casinos lately. For instance I will sign up and try the no deposit challenges and free bets to see how far I can get. If the casino pays out and luck seems to selling with the RTP I might as well try the deposit challenges.
But on several occasions casinos tried to pester me to go through extensive checks before letting me withdraw winnings won with the free bonuses. One casino outright banned me after having won some lucky wins money with a free bonus. Their excuse was that my email had been used on account creation again. I was using a disposable email so obviously they were lying. I pointed this out and they didn't respond.
Other casinos that were pestering ended up letting me withdraw. But the most extensive delay took a month. 99% of gamblers would have lost their balance by this point.
So yes casinos can and will ban you over lucky wins.

Also, the case of bettors who have gotten their betting limits drastically reduced, it is something which I would also consider to be shadow banning. There's a possibility that they really filter users that looks lucky to them and are consistent in winning. But they don't mind the players who are like us that have a negative ratio and have more losses than the wins. For that limit that they apply, I also agree that it might be a lowkey type of shadow ban and probably just a start of it.

I personally believe consistent winning is just a fallacy, I am rather inclining to see those gambler who are in positive against the house as people who just happened to be exceptionally lucky when compared to the average gambler, and in that case the house indeeds filter them and keep them in a database so they can monitor if they continue to accumulate wins against the house or not. If they do, then they are going to get excluded from bonuses and promotions, as I have seen before in some online casinos. And obviously, casinos do not have to worry about the majority of gamblers like us, who actually fund their operations with the money we lose in the long term, if anything, they give us more promotions and bonuses so we can continue to come back to their games more often. Completely the opposite on what they want from lucky gamblers who are in positive.

A similar case might be a withdrawal that is not paid by the casino and what the casino does is block or lock our account and when asking the service they answer as you said by stating that we broke a law that we don't think we did, and sometimes what's annoying is that they don't tell what violation has been committed so this becomes awkward which ultimately leads to a fraudulent or reputable casino.
