Same story happened to me too. Due to different devices or just IP change they suddenly accused me of multi-accounting. Hmm, may have released funds in your case but mostly they don't release funds easily. And even if the funds are released, the stress during that waiting period is brutal.

Now I do not use many casinos at a time. Always bet on 1-2 trusted bookies who have good reputation and good communication on Bitcointalk. And always use the same setup. And avoid big bonuses with volume requirements, in fact, these bonuses are where all the problems start. This practice has saved many headaches. And it is safe to always withdraw regular profit without allowing the balance to become too large

There is a huge difference between casinos and bookies. Bookies do ban winning players because they don't like winners (of course) or people that display a certain skill for finding value odds.
Casino on the other hand (unless you are card counting or something) have no reason to ban players. There is no edge and in the long run casinos will always win anyway. So banning a winning player makes 0 sense because sooner or later he should lose it back anyway.
Same issue with multi account accusations, with bookies they would make sense since you could circumvent wager limits with them. In casino games this does never apply.

And based on my understanding, bookies are the providers of sports betting, this is their major focus, they bring the sports matches, apply odds based on their own analysis and who or which team they believe stand a better chance of winning the match and so on.

But casinos on the other hand are the hosters of luck based games like slot games, and in-house casino games, there are no strategies in winning when it comes to slot and casino games, and there is always a 99.99 percent chance that players will end up losing if not in the short run, then in thy long run.

So this explanation of the difference between a bookie and a casino is correct, then I think that should explain to anyone reading the reason why bookies can easily ban someone who is consistently winning while casinos tends not to,

I’m tired of sites that love your deposits but hate your withdrawals. Let’s list the Honest vs. Shady platforms of 2026.

I think there are plenty of unscrupulous casinos that will immediately accuse a winning gambler of various offenses just to avoid giving them their winnings. I recently read that one online casino came up with a scheme where they accused all gamblers who tried to withdraw their winnings of using multiple accounts. What I mean is that the casino simply imposed a "block pending investigation," freezing their winnings. And the gambler couldn't understand what they were talking about, since they'd never had multiple accounts.

In casino, there is an edge or a house edge. It was the bookies are the ones that doesn't have it AFAIK. But in skill-based casino games like the ones you are referring there or some card game like Poker for example, it is still possible for us to win consistently on here because as said, it is skill-based anyway (not luck-based) but since casino has an edge, they can still earn each time we placed our bets. That must be the reason on why they don't ban their players, unless if its a proven abused.

But be it with a house edge or not, as you said, a player may still come back due to greediness or addiction, so betting platforms should not worry about their losses as it is not permanent. As they say, ''money won in gambling is only like a loan and the interest for it is very high''.

The reputed and well known casinos of the crypto world are not doing this, because if they did, people would call them out in this forum and since the forum gets a good SEO, the future of the casino would become bleak, their business would plummet.

Most casinos have the "we welcome high rollers" tagline and that is the correct approach for them too - because the more the player plays the more losses they are bound to incur because of the random luck factor.

Eventually the casino will get back what it lost and even more.

Hence they really dont need to ban winners, but try all the more to bring them back to the gambling scene and force them to play again. Wink

OK, it is a fact that casinos shadow-ban winners. But how do you think casinos select those who they shadow-ban? They dont ban all the winner or all the high-rollers, they dont ban all those who regularly win (because all those who use gambling to earn and are successful would have exposed that and made big announcement, while so far those bans are exceptions). What criteria do you think qualify for a shadow-ban?

The Winning Curse Hidden Limits & Shadow-Banning
We all talk about the House Edge, but let's talk about the Winner's Edge.
Lately, I’ve noticed a pattern. You start a new account, you win a few high-multiplier bets, and suddenly... the "connection errors" start. Or your withdrawal takes 48 hours instead of 5 minutes.
My Question to the Veterans:
In your experience, which (No-KYC)casinos actually respect winners? I’m not talking about losing streaks—I’m talking about Account Flagging the moment you show a consistent winning strategy or use advanced bankroll management.
  • Have you ever felt "Shadow-Banned" after a big run?
  • Do you rotate wallets for every deposit to avoid being tracked?
I’m tired of sites that love your deposits but hate your withdrawals. Let’s list the Honest vs. Shady platforms of 2026.

I've not found myself in such situation, I've been gambling for not too long now but I am not under any restrictions or maybe I am not winning enough yet if that's what you mean.

It's also normal for a casino to restrict anyone who wins alot, atleast that's the dream, I mean to keep winning to the extent that your favourite online casino starts to restrict you, isn't that awesome?

You must have win meaningful amount of money before they get so pissed and decide to restrict you, that's the dream, I will be happy if that happens to me once, atleast there are many reliable online casinos today.

Regular players aren't afraid of any bans. Casinos and bookmakers don't even notice small amounts. But if a player deposits $10 and withdraws $10,000, the security system will likely check their gaming history. Even here on the forum, I can't recall any high-profile scandals where a player's account was banned for constantly winning (which is highly unlikely).

Following that statement, it's a strategy where casino will let the gambler thinks that it's easy to win and cashout, but knowing how casino works eventually losing streaks will start to comes and gambler will keep adding more to their deposit, those money that they managed to withdraw will be deposit back as the gambler will chase those losses, that's how most casino attracts their users though maybe shadow banning exist but for those well-known casinos they will not risk their reputation as trust is more important not unless there's a breach or something that being exploit with the system that made that win, they might delay the payment to investigate first.

Accurate, in fact most of the cases with small deposits that turn to 100 folds or more automatically trigger the casino security to check the account betting history.

There’s some case that user accuse of card counting on blackjack that use basis to forfeit all the profit made on the account even though most of his profit comes from a lucky win on mines or keno originals.

We all know also that card counting is not possible in online blackjack so the reasoning was ridiculous.

Which is exactly what should happen. The system should flag and review extraordinary events because they should be such rare outliers that each case should be suspicious. If the risk assessment system is quite good, then they will have an established occurrence rate for various extraordinary events or a similar system. I will give some very simplified numbers just to demonstrate. If this "should" happen 5 times every 100 games based on the data that they have, then if it happens 6 or 7 times per 100 games then something is possibly wrong and at 10 per 100 it would almost be assured (as this is likely going to be too much to be explainable by variance). The system should flag the winners for investigation, and it may not even have anything to do with the user who gets put on hold -- he simply ended up being the case on which the extraordinary event happened one too many times. If they didn't do anything wrong and they have been playing in a honest casino, then they have nothing to fear.

Only those that have done something suspicious or are playing at shady casinos that have bad reputations have something to fear. Often people will pretend to be innocent when caught because they are fucking toddlers, as if pretending to innocent works out often.. they have not learned their lessons while growing up. This is why we should never believe "victims" simply because they say so, instead all the evidence should be analyzed and both parties should be given the benefit of doubt.

And with that happens, there's nothing you can do on which you would be hoping that they wont be finding any issues but if you are just doing nothing and simply with luck and  they do announce that you had violated something then you would definitely argue with that specially if you made your bankroll on how many folds then you would definitely give out that reason that you havent done something. Actually this kind of behavior of casinos no matter how known or popular they would be but still there would really be those instances that they are really doing such behavior just to cut off on paying those wins and will really be blaming for some error or bugs and thats sucks. We cant really be able to not to think up these things on which it could really happen and as gamblers then there's nothing we can do about it if they would be locking it up and blame for some error or whatever they do have in mind.

That is the kind of unusual activity that the casinos are detecting.

And they have all the rights to suspend and check the history of that gambler because it doesn't look right and normal.

So, abnormal activities when detected could lead to scrutiny of the casino before giving a decision on what they can do to that.

More likely, going to be shadow banned or won't even go through that and an outright ban.

I think when comes to abnormalities, most casinos use their systems in order to detect arbitrage on their sport betting markets and money laundering. When comes to casino games, if someone was very lucky and managed to multiply their money quickly, the casino has access to the gambling log of the person, so there is nothing to hide from the administration of the house.
They could ask further KYC documents in order to peace regulators and comply with the standards of their license issuer and whatnot, but being lucky once as trying to walk away with thousands of dollars which were earned fairly is not supposed to be a reason for one to get blacklisted, banned or shadow banned by any casino...

Key is consistency, if someone is consistent, then there are reasons for the casino to consider shadow banning.

Performing in a good place with stringent regulations is a sure way to keep your cash. I can see that you could select a well known venue. In each place, there are it is risk. The key thing is to be careful and apply common sense at every instance so that the game can be fun without necessarily getting into the risk of big losses.
Look at something that's very common: at this point, we're not in a position to be scammed, we're not in a position to lose money completely. No, we can't do that because when we start doing things that way, we fall into rookie mistakes. Once we have some experience in the gaming world, we can't afford to risk our money in places that won't be reliable; it doesn't make sense.

Yes, there are logs or audits that they can review to prove if a user has won those prizes outright and they're lucky.

When in doubt, that's when they start asking kyc and whatever is next is up to them.

I don't usually big at all and mostly lose and that's why I don't feel that a ban has been applied to me and I guess other users who have lost a lot feels the same.

No matter how you tightened the way you are gambling, that do not mean that you can not make loses at all.
Mistakes happens always and we don't know when the next mistake might be so it is important to gamble with the self thought that money can be lose at anytime and it will not make any sense to choose to be focused instead of trying luck.

I heard people accusing of almost every casino that they are restricted after winning x amount, but it doesn't happen on a casino with good reputation and we can take a look at the trust page of casinos to make sure of that. While there is always some gray are that no one can explain when it comes to centralized platforms which they might havr to take some actions like that only if they have a solid proof that the person is cheating the platform in one way or the other.

see many casino they are scam and the mindset why they operate is because of to extort some people that is why they operate, so you can only get a good casino if the casino have license to operate and that is where you can have a reliable casino platform that will not restrict you from making a withdrawal whenever you win from their platform and if you have completed their requirement, but all those casinos that have the mindset of scamming their client there will not ask you for verification and the other rest and they will not delay you whenever you want to deposit in their platform but can only delay you or deny you access for you to make withdrawal from their platform

It feels great until it actually happens to you, and then all of a sudden you'll start looking for mediators to help you get justice. I think you are thinking of it as a thing that happens to only those who have a high win rate and low losses, but that is not the case. You could be getting losses, and all of a sudden you start to win and then get restricted, which allows you only to use an amount that doesn't let you win anything good.
