Is Bitcoin still basically the only bird in the world in 2050 ?

It's hard to agree because while I love Bitcoins and no doubt it has been life-changing for me, I have to be realistic and 25 years is a long period.

OP is not wrong that during this period there will be a lot of new cryptocurrencies and one that might entirely take over the market and establish itself as the biggest crypto.

All that being said, BTC will always stay relevant because the market cap is humongous. Unless there is some bug found, which I doubt there will be, then BTC will always be among the top charts even after 25 years from now.

I would say 25 years is nothing. We have already reached nearly 20 years of it, are you aware of that? I mean we are at a point where 2008 was the paper and 2009 was the actual genesis, and we are in 2026, so in a few years we will already be 20 years.

So reaching 25 years is not really that much of a complicated, we already did 20, we can do another 25 years without a doubt. We should be expecting something like this would be a lot better. I think it will be a lot better for the long term and we need to do a fine job trusting bitcoin for the long term. If you do not have trust in bitcoin that another 25 years is not possible, then investing into it long term is not a smart decision at all.

There are many people who do not see crypto as trading but as a new type of financial infrastructure. What I can’t predict is what will happen in 10 years because it’s a long time but whatever is going to happen I believe that their will be some kind of new trend that might break out but not to beat bitcoin yet i agree that bitcoin will still be the only and most trusted cryptocurrency but not the only crypto since other people like diversifying so they can always make a new crypto second to bitcoin as a backup and since it’s a collect decision any crypto can become that.

I think Bitcoin will fare good in another 25 years if the development of another currency system stagnates and Bitcoin keeps pushing for development that a for financial improvement is covered by this development.  

I think we cannot just say that Bitcoin will do just fine for the next 25 years by just trusting it, since situational results happen if there are occurrences.

True, but an investor can invest and monitor.  We cannot trust any investment blindly, we must always be aware of the situation to protect our interests.

The truth about reality is that, we have seen men comes and go, some with more power over others, but not outshining others, they both point to the moon in their own way.

Bitcoin been doing it from onset, others been evolving along but failed, struggling to surpassed Bitcoin, some still doing pretty well a little bit while we still waiting if another bird can fly higher than Bitcoin.

Not saying no others can beat, but still waiting is all I can say.
