Is it wrong to think that investing in Bitcoin is too late?

One thing about people who think investing in bitcoin now is too late is that, they are always full of regrets when the price of bitcoin appreciates. People need to understand that bitcoin rewards patience and that there are lots of future potentials for bitcoin. I wonder where they got all those idea about lateness from.

And some of them are just procrastinators; they never end up buying bitcoin at the end of the day. Even when the price goes below what they are expecting, they will still want it to go even lower, which is where things become funny, and the more they expect it to go low, the more likely it might pump up, and they miss the chance of ever buying.

My two favorite words to beginners are “ it’s never too late to invest in bitcoin” and “the best time to invest in bitcoin is now” because I find that many times newbie investors are scared of the market price and spend too much time worrying about buying at the right time/price. IMO if you’re serious about hodling long term, market price should not be a deterrent for you.

Beginners' concerns at the current bitcoin price may be too high, plus they don't have much experience in the investment field, so they will ask whether it is right to buy now or not? Yeah... often beginners ask the experienced.

I don't care about other people being late or not, if they keep rambling asking this again it will be ignored, if they say it's too late or not then I say no.

The important thing is that we have confidence in buying bitcoin will never be late as long as it is long-term, especially now that it is still in decline since ATH even though prices have started to crawl up.

I believe that we have similar thread like this in this forum, it's never wrong to start investing in Bitcoin now no time is actually late to get started the most important thing is getting started, i know sometime people regret why they didn't start before now that maybe if they have had started earlier they would have accumulated enough Bitcoin of which they can still accumulate more Bitcoin if they start now and make it a long time Bitcoin investment, when ever we have our discretionary income is a good time to start accumulating Bitcoin so it's not actually late to get started now.

There isnt any point in dwelling in the past, instead look to the future and consider Bitcoin
is only 17 years old. Thats enough time to prove is wasnt just a fad and that it is a real world
viable solution/alternative to global FIAT banking/financial problems. Think ahead to at least
another 17 years and where Bitcoin and the market will be.

Consider where the FIAT system will be as they keep printing more and more of it and national
debts globally increase. Whats going to happen when the house of cards comes tumbling down,
There are plenty of us here who will be glad we have Bitcoin.

I believe the first best time to invest in Bitcoin was yesterday and again today is another opportunity to start accumulating Bitcoin, Bitcoin is the best asset to invest on in the cryptocurrency space it has been tested and trusted if it was a scam investment we wouldn't have been hearing about it now.

The price of Bitcoin keep increasing as the year pass on, those investor that started accumulating Bitcoin five years back will be excited they started because they are on profit now and they also hodl a store of value so starting today is a big achievement because in years coming such person will also be happy they started, those who never invested now may regret in future why they didn't invest in Bitcoin of a true those who has Bitcoin in their possession will be glad they hodl Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is - among other things - a separation of money and state.

That, to me, is vital as we progress forward into the future.

With that said, it's not too late to invest into Bitcoin. Even a token/symbolic amount is important from that aspect of "protesting" the money printer and general insualted, even partially incompetent nature of many/most of the Federal Reserve-type institutions around the world.

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer under the current monetary regime. Bitcoin doesn't automatically fix that dynamic, unfortunately, but I think it's an important step in the right direction.

My guess is we'll see something as innovative and important as Bitcoin itself in the next 10 years or so, probably created, largely, by AI. Bitcoin will still remain very valuable in all likelihood (if we don't see some sort of attack related to miner revenue decreasing and associated centralization, thereby equating to the network being cheaper to attack, which could take the form of coercion/bribery/etc... of mining farms, renting hashpower, using mercenaries, billionaire terrorist-types, and other government-type agencies/orgs).

Nevertheless, the more people buying Bitcoin... now and in the future... the better off the world will be in the short and long-term.

In fact, if someone is aware of the history of Bitcoin's development, that is, if people talk about the price from which Bitcoin has reached what price, many will think that the price of Bitcoin has already increased a lot, that is, if someone invests now, they will not be able to profit that much. Yes, I agree with their words, but there is still a lot left to gain from Bitcoin. Bitcoin has not yet reached its desired price. At the price that Bitcoin is at now, the price of Bitcoin may increase several times more than this name in the future because when more people become aware of Bitcoin and more people start using Bitcoin, a certain amount of Bitcoin will become more valuable. So if someone wants, they can start investing in Bitcoin now. It should be remembered that long-term investment in Bitcoin is the most profitable.

That too late mentally will never end for every investor who wants to catch up and yet feels that the price is too expensive.

In every cycle even in the bear market, there will be a lot of investors that will be in that mindset.

Instead of taking actions for themselves to take the opportunity, they're not going to listen to anybody but only their intuition that it is too late even it's not.

The truth is that everyone must not have the same view, I agree with you that bitcoin investment is not too late and the reason why you believed that it's not too late to invest in bitcoin is because you have discovered that bitcoin have the potential to do more and as a matter of fact, it hasn't gotten to its peak price so for that reason, it's still early to invest that's for those who are trying to figure out if it's late or not. I would say that anyone who started investing in bitcoin now came at the right time because if you look at the price as of last year November or so, it was around $125k but now it has drop to $80k . so if you look at it you will see that there's a big difference.

It's not wrong but it's not quite right to say you're late to bitcoin but don't look at their history or don't intend to try to learn about it.

For ordinary people I quite understand why this kind of thinking always happens because they do not have any understanding including the basics so there is always a sense that bitcoin is expensive, It's too late or still have the suspicion that this is a scam because they don't know about bitcoin and only know from stories and some media coverage that we know that they sometimes always corner bitcoin but in the end when they just swallow the information raw but don't try to dig further about bitcoin in the end everything will feel the same where they only know bitcoin exists and its price is increasing but do not understand further about what bitcoin means including the goals that bitcoin wants to create.
But if those who have understood and analyzed bitcoin for a long time and still say that this is too expensive or it's too late to buy bitcoin now it's a little too much for me because those who study bitcoin must be aware that currently the price is still quite cheap and we can still buy it.

If you look at the current price you will understand that Bitcoin's long race story is only in its 3rd or 4th inning
It does not matter how much you bought it today. The real question is how long your patience is, how long you can hold it. Another thing is that your success will depend on how consistent you can stay through volatility

As you said, it is a very common because, it is a psychological term that had been proven which a lot of us had also been there before when we newly bought our first bitcoin.

Of course this particular sense of reasoning is likely to be a custom to so many communities enthusiasts and bitcoin users who bought Bitcoin when it has gained tangible values while those who bought at the very early beginning when it was of very less values or expensive are the sets who we just give the recognitions as the early buyers and we also see those early adoptors as the lucky people for buy cheaper rate than it was for the latter adoptors.

Yet even as Bitcoin price becomes expensive now, it is potential to grow higher whereas, those that seems late to buy would even find their entry rate cheap in the long run if Bitcoin continue to prove its potential hedge of values against inflation.

If you look at some stocks put there and some of the huge companies that have being able to turn over their invested capital several times, running into some trillions in market cap, you would realize that it took good years running through decades and for some, several generations to get to where they are today.

Bitcoin hasn’t done that, it’s got barely a decade and few years on it. That’s to tell you that, it’s still got some good years to go, which could put you in a very early state for your investment. You might not get the chance the pioneers did get but, you are early enough.

Bitcoin is not too late to invest because is volatile and you can invest any amount you wish to invest in it, some that probably think that is late to invest in bitcoin means they don't have that believe that they will profitable later run. You're right everyone knows how he view bitcoin and they will think the way they understand it. A good investors that understand bitcoin better will never says is late to start your bitcoin journey. Anytime you wish to start you will start and get what you're looking for but is just to control your self without scared of losing.

You can not say Bitcoin can be too late to invest in whatever time you feel like to invest in Bitcoin is fine in as much you are using your discretionary income and can be able to hold for a period of time to enable it yield profit then you invest any time as you wish.
A lot of people don't really know when to invest they feel there is a particular time to invest but no there isn't, of course you are supposed to invest in a bear market but then you invest as soon as you feel like you need to invest and also you don't need too much of knowledge before investing you just to know a few things and basic things and not necessarily too much before you can invest.

Having that mindset of the newbies can't be stopped. They will always that the current prices are too expensive. As of now, the price of Bitcoin is $80k and when it was under $60k, I'm sure that many have thought that it was still expensive at that time. Maybe a big correction could come, we'll never know but we see the point that every time they complain of how expensive it is. The price gets better for those who actually invested and never complained about it. They're so busy complaining while the others are also busy in accumulation.

In my level of knowledge and understanding, once this thought begins in your mind as investor trying to invest in Bitcoin it automatically reshape your decision which is tie down to indecision and no investor that is having indecision problem that everly succeed in an investment if an only if they invest. A no coiner or a low coiner shouldn't think he's smart enough to buy bitcoin only at the dip because timing the dip is similar to procrastination. One thing why I discourage people from waiting for the dip before buying bitcoin is that while waiting you might use the money for something else or bitcoin wouldn't dip to your expected dip.

I see it as a waste of time and energy waiting for something that isn't certain. No time is late for a brand new investor to start his bitcoin journey.

I'm not in a position to judge whether someone is right or wrong, as everyone's knowledge is different. But if they say it's too late to invest in Bitcoin now, let it be. It doesn't benefit me whether they invest or not, so why should I care.

It's not my job to convince someone to invest their money in Bitcoin. Just leave them be. At least, when the Bitcoin price is higher, they'll regret not investing, and realize they should have invested their money --- or not.
