Can AI really help with sports betting, or are we overrating it?

Ai can help us to win on sports betting but not guaranteed on every bet. Ai can do analysis and give us a approximate answer. some time it will work and some time it will fail. so i think we shouldn't use Ai for gambling prediction we can just ask to Ai for collect some data and then we can make a prediction ourself based on that data. because Ai can collect data in few minutes so it will save our time.

Gambling is actually depends on our luck in any type of gambling it can be sportsbook or casino games. so always we have to accept the risk and use small amount of money that we can afford to loss and that loss we can easily forget so only then we can protect ourselves from gambling addiction and emotion

It is true that we can collect data from AI and by collecting information from that data we can place bets, moreover we cannot trust AI completely because AI can never predict in advance. If AI could predict in advance then people might have won all the money from gambling platforms. Although gambling is a game of luck but sports betting can be won with some analysis and experience but casino games have to be played completely depending on luck.

AI can give you a clue and suggestions on the direction the game may possibly go, AI generated data can help you t make better betting decisions, but over dependant on AI to give you an accurate and straightforward bet stake is not going to be possible at all, and anytime you depends on such Artificial predictions you should be ready t get disappointed with the outcome of the games predicted AI.

If you try AI in sports betting once and it works, I do not still think that it can be correct all the time, And it it will be very dangerous for you to become dependent on this as a way to gamble because you will be taking bets blindly.
It will be okay to use AI to do some research to help you make a better decision, not hand the entire job of decision making to AI to do for you. It is not different from just taking bets from another person to play as some peoplle use to do.

AI may work at once, but never expect consistency from it. You are just giving yourself a false hope. Yes, it can help you with data analysis, can manage risk and even increase efficiency and improve accuracy, but it will never be a risk-free path to profit. You have to prioritize attracting luck first, and followed by good AI application, that will surely elevate winning from sports betting.

Since the early days when AI started getting popular, I already tried using it to predict match outcomes. Back then, the answers weren’t really satisfying, mostly just general information without anything insightful. On my second attempt, the AI response looked more convincing, like it was giving actual predictions with detailed analysis. But strangely, some of the information turned out to be incorrect. Since then, I’ve lost trust in AI and prefer to rely on my own manual predictions.

On it’s own, AI would not have better results than a human, though I imagine somebody could create a model that is trained to be specifically useful at analyzing sports. In my personal opinion I will say that this is really the over thinking of ours, because we know that gambling is always depend on the last not any strategy or skill. The only thing the artificial intelligent can help us that they can provide as the real time information in a short time like when we are going to make analysis on a sports  then we can find easily a team status like if their any player are injured and any playe who were not in the squad.

But that doesn't mean that AI helps us to win, they just help us as an analysis tools nothing else.

The only thing an AI can help you with is getting information about teams and assist you with whatever analysis you're trying to carry out. If it goes beyond that, it's only fare enough that you take control of every other thing and be fully responsible for all the analysis you're trying to carry out.

Even with regards your analysis, AI still has a lot of limitations and for an unpredictable thing as gambling Yiu have to face it head-on and be responsible for all the decisions you make knowing fully well that your analysis is more updated than what any AI can offer.

Whatever any body is building with or around Ai, one thing I am very sure about is that it must be done in a way and manner that such project doesn't come out as a threat to casinos and sportsbooks, else, you risk wasting your precious time and investing resources on a project that may end up getting  heavily reported and banned from operating whether it be a project for personal use or but the use of the general public.

But then on that other hand, I absolutely understand what you are talking about and I support the idea, and one thing I was thinking is if those are exactly what humans have to think about and carry out a research to gain knowledge of all of those information to help him make better sports prediction, then it's absolutely possible to build an Ai infrastructure that would have the ability of reasoning same way and carrying out exactly the same type of deep research and show what the result is, this not only saves humans time, but will also eliminate the chances of errors that happens with humans.

Sometimes I use ChatGPT to get statistical information from both teams. If you ask about winning chances, it will also provide results based on statistics. 
I do not trust predictions given by AI. But surely there are some gamblers who use it to place bets. But I will not use it. Such things might not be any different from betting based on someone else's predictions.

That is how I see it too.. It’s actually useful when it comes to giving you solid informations and stats you can use to do your own analysis…

But when it comes to predictions from AI, it’s a big No… I would not rely on that at all..  At that point it is just like following someone else tip, and we all know how that usually end up..

We also don't know the results, because by betting like that, only luck can be relied upon. It is possible that by coincidence, AI predictions could be accurate for certain leagues where one or two teams dominate. So AI predictions based on statistical recommendations might indeed be accurate. But never ask for score predictions, because what AI provides is certainly based on references from prediction websites.

Lol, AI himself always tell not to trust him when he is asked about sports prediction, yet people still believe he could help What AI does is only process information from google search (same sites that write possible predictions), and give an answer. He is not giving a correct prediction, he only shortens our time of reading same predictions from various sources and statistics. I hope nobody believe that reading stats can give 100% accurate prediction for sports betting

In theory, I think Ai can help us in terms of information but with predictions that although they can provide choices but in the end I think it comes back to us ourselves who have to consider it too and follow our own hearts because if we fully follow the decisions and choices given by Ai it is the same as we depend on it, although occasionally it might happen but it should not always depend on AI because we might get annoyed when the results that often occur are losing, whereas with decisions made by heart desires even if we lose then there is no one to blame but ourselves.

AI can certainly help in sports betting, but the fact is that gambling platform owners are also starting to improve their businesses using AI and understand that players are using it as well. However, gambling platform owners will always be one step ahead of other players because they know that their business must be protected to remain profitable; otherwise, the whole point of having one is lost. I don't yet use AI to aid my analysis; I prefer to do things the old way, as I always have.

I think it would have been much better if, before starting this topic, you had actually carried out similar experiments yourself. Or at the very least, you could have opened this topic specifically for that purpose, to run such an experiment, record all of your bets, and keep detailed statistics on how this betting strategy performs over time. In reality, I believe there are many hidden pitfalls that would make it difficult to generate consistent profit, because AI simply cannot take absolutely everything into account. It often does not even have access to the latest news related to a specific match.

There is no perfection in gambling with Ai. Using Ai to analyze your bet is not actually wrong, you can get useful information, and analysis through the use of Ai, but the guarantee of winning all the time is not there. As for me, using Ai to make my prediction has not favoured me in gambling, because out of 5 or 10 predictions, one will always disappoint. On my own part, making your own analysis can even be more helpful. If you make your own personal research, you can get more information, and make more stylish prediction based on your research instead of betting exactly on the instructions of Ai.

It will just always give you the information that AI sees on the internet, and that's it.

It's not like it has a magic crystal ball that can tell the future. It can just summarize how a game may end up or the results of it, but it's still a prediction. We can gather all the statistics, records, and game history using AI, but at the end of the day, it's our choice if we will follow it or use our instincts to win a bet.
I never really relied on AI, even until now. Most are just Google searches, and because they are injected with AI, maybe I am kind of using it too. Still, I want the final say to be mine, and it feels good if you win a bet using your own decision.
