I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but it seems that the privacy option blocks the ability to share information about where someone is playing and what they're betting on, not the total amount of wagering. If the total amount of wagering were also locked to private only, those who use this option would not be able to participate in the Weekly Wagering Race. I think that to make everything transparent when it comes to leaderboards, you should share, for example, part of the username of someone participating in wagering. If a large portion of players restrict the visibility of their stats, most of them will be called "anonymous" on the leaderboard, and there will be no way to verify who is who.

I believe no one from this forum won the weekly race so far because there is a doubt about it since the first day. There is no winners as well from the casino who is willing to come here to confirm or to prove that they won the weekly race while it has been running for more than a month. Actually looking at what is happened in the finished race, it was not that hard to be on top 10 especially the last positions (8-10th) because the number of wagered amount was not that big compared to the potential rewards.
