And Morocco won in penalties, even though the vast majority believed the Netherlands were the favorites.
Whoever opted for the increased odds of 7.49 for a Moroccan victory on the Kikabet website scored a good win.
The Moroccan team definitely deserved this victory; they dominated and controlled the entire match.
Don't know if it goes to penalties or 2x45 minutes but I think the gamble is only until normal time where 1x2 for Morocco but not with Morocco winning qualifiers.
I'm not sure, but it's possible it was just the standard 90 minutes. It didn't say anything about qualifying for the next round, only winning the match. You might be right that promotion didn't include penalties option.
I'm sure it only focuses on 1x2 because it's very rare that I've ever encountered a bet until the end of a penalty shootout (unless betting on one of the qualifying teams) and for extra time bets until the penalty will usually appear in live betting.
So if it is only based on 1x2 then the odds will not get anything even though the odds are very large because of the additional boost from the kikabet.
I'm waiting for France today but it might not be as simple as it seems even though we know France is very strong at the moment although Sweden also had a pretty good result in the group stage.
Sure, there could be a surprise, but in my opinion, Sweden didn't play very well in this tournament, and even worse before it, and only miraculously made it to the World Cup.
France, on the other hand, is showing good form.
I think this will be one of the easier matches for France in this World Cup. I think the score will be high for France, 3 or 4 goals, and maybe 1 for Sweden.
1 loss, 1 draw and 1 win isn't bad for a team that wasn't really a favorite from the start so I think the chance to cause trouble is still there and when they succeed with the scheme it's not impossible that they can hold France until extra time / extra time but to win at 1x2 against France with the depth of their squad as well as a potential finalist (my assumption) is obviously difficult.
