So Errol Spence is back after 3 years. He will be under Ronnie Shields now, and so he will be with new trainer but I don't think that it will be big factor here. On the side of Tim, his been in wars with Fundora.

But his not done yet as he is willing to take Errol Spence. Very hard to see for now which one is going to win here as both is coming from a devastating defeat. So it might be mental for this boxers. Spence though will be at a disadvantage because of ring rust.

Although Spence is the favorite here, I'm thinking, with all other factors considered, that Tim could be worth the risk. Errol is old, hasn't been in the ring for 3 years, but rarely had fights in the past 5 years actually. And I remembered how he looked so easy against Crawford in his last fight despite the hype that the match was between 2 of the best fighters.

Tim isn't coming from a devastating defeat. I think he's recovered well after defeating Velazquez and Nurja. Spence, on the other hand, is. And it was a humiliating TKO. This must add to his ring rust. I hope he's in perfect shape, though.

We just saw Keith Thurman try to make a comeback after being away for several years. I think Spence is just as shot as Thurman. Luckily for him he isn’t facing a towering inferno and is instead fighting Tszyu, who is considered damaged goods. Tszyu might be less damaged, but he is a walking punching bag with no defense whatsoever. I’m leaning slightly towards Tszyu because he still has something left to prove whereas Spence has already been at the top and made millions. Tszyu is going to be hard to put down, and if the match turns into a brawl, I can see Spence looking for a way out and quitting.

Well, finally we’re going to see a good fight, something I can say is much more even.
Spence has been out for a while, while Tszyu’s popularity got ruined a bit after that Sebastian Fundora loss, so this is really the right time for a comeback from both. But this one probably favors Tszyu since the fight is in his home country. I still remember how Manny lost there before even though it looked obvious that he dominated the fight. Hope the refs and judges play fair here.

Spence has lost only to the best, Tim has lost to various and less eminent opponents. Tim is not his father. As he has chosen to train independently from him, and he wish not to win, but more to prove that he is "better than his father", and he wants "world to know him as Tim Tszyu, but not as son of Kostya Tszyu". He has different goal that his opponents, that if why he loses in fights where he had to win. UD by Spence.

So that was 3 years of inactivity going into this fight. Spence only has one loss, and that was against Crawford. After being away that long, I don’t know if he’s still been maintaining his training properly and if he’s really in good shape now.

But looking at this matchup, I think Spence has a good chance of winning because Tszyu is not as slick as Crawford, who has a very high ring IQ. So I’m hoping we’ll see a very entertaining fight here, no running, just two warriors ready to show their skills and durability.

What do you mean not damage good? Have you seen his fight against Fundora 2x and then to Bakhram Murtazaliev? It's was bloody and brutal. For that win against Velasquez and Nurja, it's obvious that it was cherry pick fight for him to regain back his confidence.

I agree with @mirakal - battle of losers and most likely trying to salvage their career. Shots fired already at the press conference and it looks like Spence has started trash talking already when all Tim said to him was all respectful.

I can’t trust Tszyu to beat an elite boxer, especially after losing to Fundora twice already. That just makes me believe he’s not on the same level as Spence, and this feels like a very good fight for Spence if he wants to make a winning comeback.

It’s very possible too, because Tszyu is not a moving target. He likes to fight toe-to-toe, a typical Australian boxer. So in a matchup like that, the stronger man will still be standing in the end, and in that area, I think Spence is not only stronger than him but also smarter.

I agree with your point: Tszyu was struggling against elite boxers, but Spence is coming off a 3-year vacation, which could make a big difference. It happened to Thurman; it can also happen to Spence. I don't consider this a tune fight for Spence, for a real fight, because Tszyu was once a champion.

I have Spence winning but not via knockout. He may struggle to beat Tszyu due to ring rust; prolonged inactivity is always a major concern in boxing.

Well, I am not that too confident with Tszyu as well. As they are like testing the waters again. But if Spence will have a very intense training for this match, I would say, he has a very good chance to win on this and so with Tszyu. I would say, better not bet on this one and let it pass. Just watch it if you are not very sure about the outcome of this fight.

We will only know that in the actual fight. Pre-fight is mostly about marketing and creating hype to sell the fight, so it is up to us which boxer we believe is really telling the truth.

Spence can say anything he wants and be overconfident in himself, but we cannot deny that he has been out for a while. It is almost the same with Thurman, he talks a lot too, but when he fought Sebastian Fundora, he was schooled badly. Even after he was defeated, he still could not accept the loss and blamed the ref. Maybe that is just how they try to retain their value, by keeping the confidence and making excuses instead of admitting they were simply beaten.

Yeah, that's why i think this could end badly for Spence, though Tszyu ain't in good form anymore. Yet, i admint Spence can still punch, but it seems he's coming back just to get his payday.

I admint how Spencer is an olympic level of boxxer, but inactivity and stamina are huge factors that may not favor him to win.

So i think Tszyu can win this although this is gonna be a tough game. I can't wait to see what Spencer has left to fight Tszyu.
